"Good afternoon to you Namyrra. Have you recovered from our trek in the forest?"

Masked Builder, I am curious as to the nature of the Gear from your quest, is it supposed to be a retrievable ranged weapon or what exactly?

Skrall walks into the hall, his satchel heavy with its bulging contents. It was a wonder he hadn't been pick-pocketed on his way back to the hall, but maybe his allegiance with the Wolfgang was paying off. Nodding hello to several of the heroes still seated, Skrall glanced at the quest board, he wasn't much for epic adventures so he decided to refrain from signing up under the current notice and so he went and had a seat at one of the nearby tables. Skrall ordered a hefty tankard from the barmaid and let his shoulders sag at his release from his leadership role. It had been quite a few years since he had had to worry about others under his command and he couldn't say he had exactly relished the experience, but what was done had been done and he was glad he had ended up with more friends than enemies on his latest quest. Sitting there sipping his ale, the ogre wondered what had become of his friend the dark mage Nur and the lovestruck cleric Haldor.

Not a bad quest at all, I enjoyed the battles and the interplay between some of the heroes. A few suggestions: don't worry about taking time to develop your story, the initial objective was to eliminate the trespassing poachers, then all of the sudden we're trying to save some centaur who is of such vital importance that we will fail the quest should she be killed. A little more dialog and explanation would have helped to bring things into a more coherent whole, maybe some more chances for interaction or dialog with the NPC's or maybe some puzzles would have helped make it seem more than a race from one battle to the next. Don't get me wrong, I like battles as much as the next guy, but I enjoy a good story and some thinking challenges as well. Overall however, good job Thanks for letting me play and I'm interested to see what your next addition will bring.

"Very well, Mr. Grogan. We are glad we could be of some help." With that Skrall walks after Namyrra, keeping a respectful distance and pondering upon the events of the past quest. -

Lord Andonii, As I said before, I'm sure this was just a misunderstanding as the orc was probably trying to visit some of his relatives that live in your area and was simply a victim of racial profiling by the over eager forstmen. As you have said yourself, we have no need of spies and we thoroughly value our trade agreements and strong alliance we have with the West. Thank you for your kind words, may your lands prosper and may your house never see want. -Captain Hardiel of the Souther Kaliphlin Guild -

Lord Artorious Rex, I really must file a complaint with the mistreatment of my one of my men. This is clearly a case of racial profiling, here in Kaliphlin all races are treated equally and should an orc wish to attain a full time position working in a credible escort service, then he may do so. My men are often escorting caravans to your noble country and once in a while, one does go off to see the sights of your land and/or visit his relations (which I am aware dwell not far from yourself peaceably), and while he will be disciplined and his pay reduced for leaving the company without giving notice, I believe the chains and shackles are too much. If the issue is not resolved, I will take the matter up with my lord Dextrus Flagg who I am sure will see to it that the King hears of it. Thank you for your time, -Captain Hardiel of the Southern Kaliphlin Guild. On another note, great build Captain BeerBeard, I always love the creations with a bunch of foliage all over and the mushroom shields -

"I just happen to have one werewolf paw, and a dementor's cowl." Skrall hands the limb and hood over to Grogan "Sorry Althior, there wasn't anything left of the slugs to bring back. Now is there anything else we can do fer you my good man?" -

"Well, we took care of a few bandits hiding out in the woods, you've got to do somethin' about security my good man. Also tell your masters to ask for a discount from the real estate agent who sold them this swamp, it's infested with nothing but slugs, frogs, and nasty beasts like dementors and werewolves. As to the killers I think we've taken care of them now. I thought you only had a herd of deer in there, not centaurs?" -
I really like the studs on the outside look, it allows you to give the tower some more variety in the stonework. Do you happen to have any flags? I think it would look better than the triangular pieces, but other than that, great job it's quite a unique build.

Skrall gives another low whistle, "Will ya looky there. Well I think we can all agree that a smelling salts is in order for each of us and that the Topaz and Saphire should go to Arasmyth and Althior respectively, however the other items I am at a loss for. Bob and Namyrra I'll let you decide between the two of you who would like which scroll as I can't read enough to tell the difference between them. Dyric as a rogue, I'm sure you'll be wantin' this loaded die, and I'm not much of a gamblin' ogre so if you want it, you can take it. Though I'd bet Althior over there would be wantin' to trade for it, since he still can't seem to hit the broad side of a barn." Skrall chuckles but pats the mage on the back good naturedly glad to see the mage was acting like his old self. "Well, if that's all, I'll hold on to the skeleton decoy fer the time bein'." Turning again to the centaur, "We'll be glad to take ya to the grounds keeper. Though, if ya don't mind me askin', what's a pretty little thing like you got to do with 'im though?" -

"Well, I'm glad that is over with, if only the fools had listened. Ah well, Dyric you are more than welcome to the throwin' knife, I prefer scimitars anyways. I will however take this Gear, whatever it may be used for. Namyrra if you would like this ruby you may have it, throughout this quest, yer spell flingin' has come in handy more than once. Everyone else take some gold, 10 each." Skrall turns toward the centaur trying not to scare it with his gigantic frame. "Now there little lassie, everything intact? Nothin' broken we hope? Who might ya be and how came you into these villains' clutches?" -

Skrall grimaces from his wound, but smiles as Dyric finishes the swordsman off. "Har, Har, nice work chaps, let's finish these other two off, pick yer targets as ya like. Mages don't be afraid to use yer ether. Hold on there dearie we're comin' for ya." Skrall sights Stav (Axe) from the back row and prepares to pin him to a nearby tree trunk. I would suggest, maybe adding a bit more height or some other distinct factors that tell the structure from the landscape. As of the moment it is hard to tell the contrast from what is the building and what are the rocky outcrops, though this might have been your intention given the back story. Perhaps adding a weapons rack, maybe a broken table, some visible tiles that are being overtaken by the sand, maybe a skeleton or two. Just some ideas, and also if this is your entry for the watch tower, don't forget the Kaliphlin flag Lord Sansael, I have heard stories of your outpost on the most south eastern extremities of the Kaliphlin Guild's borders but have never had the opportunity to escort any caravans in that vicinity. From what the souther dwarf clans have told me, it is a most wondrous and modern settlement. I believe I can speak for the rest of the guild members here in offering you a warm welcome and indeed the hand of friendship in these trying times. Your forces and resources will definitely be of possible value during these tumultive current state of interguild affairs. -Captain Hardiel On another note, Gabe, wonderful micro build of the island, it would definitely be cool to see more of these. -
Sorry to ask the hard questions Masked Builder, but I wanted to know all of our options. I am curious however as to why we would fail the quest should the centaur die, as our mission was to catch the poachers and not kill any of the wild boar?

"We need to take that swordsman out, mages, spells from the back row, Dyric see if you can land a hit on him with your chain. We'll take care of the other two later." Skrall loads another bolt and targets Grof (Sword) from the back row. Battle Order: Althior Namyrra Skrall Bob Arasmyth Dyric OOC: I'm curious what would happen if Namyrra put Gorf to sleep with her wand or if I chose to use a smoke bomb right now? -

I also confirm the nomination of Master Gex (NiceMarmot) for the position of Master Cartographer, we value his renderings of our land most highly on our escort ventures through the various trade routes. My Lady Sand Queen, welcome to Kaliphlin, I am sure you will find a haven for you and your people here. While I am sure that you are very self sufficient and able to care for both yourself and your standing army, if any of your followers should be in need of full time employment, we are currently looking to fill some holes in our outfit and your men seem like excellent candidates should any of them ever wish to inquire. Did I mention we have some of the highest signing on bonuses in all of Petrea? To the most revered board members of the PGTC, it is a pleasure to finally meet some of you and my men and I humbly offer our escort and security services, and should you or any of your subsidiary customers ever have need of such functions, please do not hesitate to utilize us or refer our services. -Captain Hardiel Erynlasgalen, great WIP I considered mixing gray stone with the sand stone early on, but never built it up to see how it would look, you have done it perfectly and I may employ some more of that color in my next rendition. My only suggestions would be to maybe use less flags, or add some more height, and maybe utilize smaller 2x1 bricks instead of the 8x1 tan bricks near the middle tier, to give the suggestion of stone rather than long oblong slabs, that is if you collection contains them. -

"Well then my good fellows, you're quite the blood thirsty lot. Right then, mages in the back throwin' the spells, Dyric take that spider out. I'll deal with that axe totin' fella. Althior, might I suggest using your nostrum, as we need to take out that swordsman post haste." With that Skrall loads a bolt into his crossbow and targets Stav (Axe) from the Back Row. He sighs to himself, "I'm gettin' to old for this, why is it that every soddin' thug we meet out here wants to draw blood at the first sight of us?" Skrall whispers to Dyric, "I may not be a knight my dear rogue, but this is where a sharp tongue and a quick mind may win us more than a hastily drawn weapon. If we must fight we shall, but I wish to employ a little more tact, rather than plunging head in like some fool hardy barbarian." -
Couldn't have put it better myself. I second the motion.
