  1. I would say yes, since he will most likely take a potion. If he wants a tonic, then I will give him mine later in exchange.
  2. "Cronk thanks Knight Cromwell for trying to keep noise down." After placing Sir Poletad in his satchel, Skrall goes and inspects the crystal ball in the back of the room.
  3. The idea was superb, maybe shooting down with the cliff face in focus as opposed to the city would aid in the forced perspective, but still great job I was a little leary of the great escarpment when it was first brought up, but I love it now, great representation! My favorite part is the small balcony sticking out of the cliff face, not to mention the story
  4. Cronk never met Cronk, only heard about Cronk's adventures and overheard Cronk talking in Hall. Cronk is trying hard to practice WWCD like Cronk would Cronk's self. In all honesty, I just did it after seeing Scorpiox imitating Guts, and thought it would be a riot if we all chose someone else's character to masquerade as. Cronk was the only orc/troll that had enough of a style established for me to mimic. I have a question, if Wren is all seeing/hearing why doesn't she stop the heroes if she knows what they are already planning? Unless she has really got some ego problem
  5. Skrall scratches his head, he wasn't good with kids much less pets but he had to try and keep in character so he kept reminding himself of the maxim "WWCD". <Cronk sorry Sir Poletad's family turned into squishy stuff. Cronk feel bad every time he take potion now. Cronk not know froggies have knights. Cronk have idea, you come with Cronk and Cronk make sure Sir Poletad come to no harm, but Sir Poletad must be very quiet.> Opening his satchel, Skrall lets the frog clamber in among all the potions, bombs, and other items of significance he carried with him.
  6. "Cronk think one friend of party should look at crystal ball thingy." Skrall mentions to the party before returning to the creature. Skrall's amphibean has always been rusty but he decides to inquire further of the frog. <Hello froggy friend, Cronk's name Cronk. What is Mr. Frog doing in factory? Has Mr. Frog seen party's nice friend Felton before, or does Mr. Frog know anything nice friend Felton?>
  7. Skrall looks around the room. He picks up one of the potions and hands a pheonix essence to Hoke and Haldor and keeps one for himself. Investigating the rest of the room, he takes a look at the frog like creature trying to determine if it is still living and would be up for a conversation. As he inspects it, he comments to Tensi, "Cronk think Ms. Midhigh could be right about friend Felton. Cronk think party should take care."
  8. It's actually less than 32 deep, and the dark tan studs up portion is 32 wide, I'm not sure how one classifies snot bases but 32 width doesn't have an whole number conversion to height so it either sticks out underneath the dark tan by a hair or it leaves a gap. I hope that clarifies. Thanks for all the comments guys, I had a good find where someone was selling parts to #8893 Lava Chamber Gate, so that really gave me the opportunity to work in the dark blue, I want to experiment more with it in some further builds as I'm not too hot on using red in the architecture as much.
  9. Somebody's been reading Darths and Droids
  10. Turning to the guards Skrall addresses them, "Me name Cronk. Cronk hired to poke evil rebels with pointy arrows. Cronk loves to poke evil! Have nice guards seen any evil rebels? How big is factory, Cronk never seen factory before? Many workers?"
  11. Skall glances over as Haldor heals Dyric, shaking his head he remembers his younger days when he had also held on to life at all costs, now however the end didn't seem that painful, that uninviting. Looking away and moving on, Skrall addresses Felton, "I think that's everything let's get goin', time is a wastin'."
  12. "I think we're all set, Haldor do you want to patch Dyric up so he ain't dyin' the moment we spring our attack? I'd also suggest a shirt, [seeing Haldor's wound] and patch yerself up too, while yer at it." Turning back to the group Skrall comments, "Good to see ya movin' about Hans, for a moment back there I thought we had lost ya, I'm sure Felton would have been heart broken By the way Felton, any intel on Wren's where abouts? Does she inspect factory to factory or does she have a main point of operation we need to be on the look out fer?"
  13. Skrall awakes the next day. Stretching, he tries to hold onto the last snatches of his dreams, the feeling of running his hands through an ogre maiden's red hair, the babbling of a brook, all intermixing with the annoying tinkling of Wren's voice. He shakes himself and walks over to Felton, hearing his suggestion Skrall nods in agreement. "Aye, I say we have a look at what we're up against for the moment and head to one of the factories, more chit-chattin' with chiefs later. Now Felton, you mentioned three factories, what's the difference between each 'em, number of guards, terrain, surrounding walls? Obviously we don't have any kind of siege equipment with us, so I'm assumin' we're conductin' raids gorilla warfare style?" OoC: Am I supposed to be at full health? I'd don't have a bedroll and the Pheonix Essence only restores 1 health upon revival?
  14. I've got to admit that my jaw practically dropped when I saw this, you executed the build perfectly. Like building castle walls in gray, brown can be hard to build in without it becoming a big undefined blob, however you have totally avoided that syndrome and the result is great.
  15. I concur, it takes guts (pun intended) to face down a QM asking for answers when they could easily have you turned into a frog for the remainder of the quest. Not to mention putting role playing before simply being a 'yes' man Good job on your part too Rumble Strike sticking to simply role playing and argumentation, I would have probably added a cave-in to move the party along by this point.
  16. Yeh, the interior is pretty much filled with Tan 2x4 from PaB wall. I haven't got quite the cash to buy whatever I need on Bricklink, so I try and work with what I've got, thus the tower doesn't have a back However I was pleased with how the base turned out, I've never snotted landscape before, it brings a whole new perspective to how bricks will look stacked horizontally rather than vertically.
  17. I think I fall pretty much in agreement with you all, I'm not much for claiming my own space, I'll probably build more in the Qarkyr mountains, but when I do go further out I plan on adapting my style to fit whatever the local architecture/culture/minifigs are to fit the canon. I'm with Ska that the chance of land being taken away gives us a ton of new possibilities, everything from building resistance Mocs, or dare I say switching over to another guild for a while until our land is reclaimed. However if none of us are really cemented to a region, then we shouldn't have any problem relocating and working on building up another section of the guild. At long last my lord Flagg, I just received a message via Qarkyr griffin that the tower I mentioned earlier has been fully restored and is overseeing one of the many trade routes running through the Rakath Mountains between Kaliphlin and Nocturnus. Full Topic I plan on doing quite a bit of traveling these next few weeks escorting an oil shipment from some of the Southern Dwarf clans' refineries. I will report to you of any findings of significance as I traverse our great land. -Capt. Hardiel
  18. Just North of Qarkyr lies an old watch tower overlooking one of the many paths that wind throughout the Rakath Mountains between Kaliphlin and Nocturnus. Today the small garrison is greeted by the arrival of an exploratory party of the southern dwarf clans. Not much is happening these days where sands dunes meet the rocky slopes, but rumors are flying faster than the griffon's wing that tension is building between the great guilds of Historica and vigilance is needed to protect the many trade routes that have yielded Kaliphlin its prosperity. Thanks for looking, C&C always appreciated. Thanks SI-mocs for pushing my building limits with your suggestions, this build has come a long way from what it first started as. Now at long last I can have 5 days of free building before the next challange
  19. Actually the math would have you paying 40 gold, 10 for each weapon, since you upgrade to level 1 1x10=10 Gold. Also while I admire you're creativity I'm not sure if we want people to just create weapons out of thin air outside of quests. It would be like a rogue finally having access to free ranged ammo when ever they wanted and since hitting power is equal to WP+level, a level 12 rogue could potentially have a power of 12 at range for free.
  20. OoC: That works for a battle order too, though technically it would be up to Tensi since she is second-in-command, but as she is a bit preoccupied with her berserkerness... In the past people who have been revived generally are revived automatically at least in character even though the item is actually used in the battle order, hence my post.
  21. Skrall bellowed in pain as he was double teamed by the surge of caravan soldiers, "Let's hope everythin' goes accordin' to..." he briefly thinks before blacking out. Next thing he knows, Skrall awakens with Hoke standing over him with an empty Pheonix Essense. With a splitting head ache, Skrall rights himself, "Good fellow! I was hopin' that Pheonix Essence would come in handy. Now let's get out of here. Take down as many as you can while I get this smoke thingy set, just make sure you don't target someone who's liable to do damage to multiple targets. Hans clear soldier AA out of the way so we can make good our escape. Jess as soon as you finish with your target grab Haldor, Mr. Ablesword you help me with Ms. Hightribe it ain't goin' be easy if she don't finish off that captain." Skrall grabs the Pheonix Smoke out of his satchel and uses it from the back row. Battle Order: Hoke Tensi Jess Hans Skrall Note: Dyric and Haldor neglected as they can not contribute to the battle.
  22. Don't forget about the spice islands either, I'm sure their is quite a variety of vegitation on those. I've finished my tower, hopefully have pictures up on the weekend. Great builds all, I'm looking forward to just doing some free building after I finish up with the tower.
  23. I don't quite see the unfairness towards NPC's but if that's the way we're doing it then that is fine with me. I'll adjust the battle order accordingly.
  24. Skrall watches as more troops poured into the pass they wouldn't be able to last much longer. Haldor goes down and Skrall glances up to see Dyric leaping away, "Sod! Can't blame the rogue though, hope he doesn't run into any straglers or hungry pogs." he thinks to himself. Shouting at his remaining Party Skrall directs there next actions. "Hans finish off that wounded captain, he's almost done for. Mr. Ablesword if you can get Soldier W, I think we can minimize our damages for one more round." Skrall huffing and puffing loads two more bolts and takes aim at both Caravan Soldiers S and X from the Back Row. Battle Order: Dyric Hoke Jess Tensi Hans Skrall Skrall Haldor
  25. I thought that armor was accounted for as well, but wanted to make sure just in case before I went ahead with the strategy for the next round. After a quick search through discussion thread, there hasn't been anything said about Hastened heroes taking two free hits, I would assume they don't as the hastened effect only effects their actions not the enemies. However they would take a second hit if there were enough enemies to go through the order twice.
