  1. "We're going to need more men to the north," Skrall thought to himself. <Vipera, let Arthur and Mr. Harkenshire know to move onto the stairway and start headin' for the main entrance. Also tell Phil to move into the throne room and cover for Nyx.> Battle Order: Flavius Arthur Harkenshire Thothwick Nerwen Nyx Phil Galen Luke Alexandre Isabella Skrall Sarick Xander Denerii Tarn Atramor Count Lewis De'Kra Cronk
  2. Then the wording needs to be changed as currently bolster effects only the companion animal (which is different then the past summon). Thus the usefulness of the class only occurs after a shield roll?
  3. OoC: Can the NPC's move, i.e. Ella, Alandri, etc.? "I understand yer want fer revenge Ms. Nyx but I need you to move to the group toward the North of ya, I have a feelin' they're soon to be overwhelmed if we don't do somethin' fast." Skrall planted himself outside the door to Emeraldo's Study. "We need a distraction or somethin' to get those gaurds out here, Ms. Toboso, yer cloak might come in handy. You can dash in there, escape their blows due to that flashy cape yer wearin' and draw those troops back out here so the rest of us can deal with 'em."
  4. Don't worry too much about it, it's an epic story and epics are hard to get the characters to go the right places without magically teleporting them to where they need to be.
  5. The lesson from Quest 30 is your fate is already decided and all one can do is enjoy the train ride and have your tickets at the ready.
  6. OoC: Would it be possible to get some clarification on the matter that if we (Team Yellow) move into the room, we will all take free hits correct? "Hold fer a moment barbarian, I don't want ya just rushin' in there if they're going to take advantage of our not bein' able to get an attack off 'em.
  7. An an old hermit I once knew would probably say, "You could repent and give us the names of your scummy team mates, oh and don't forget to contribute at least 10 gold."
  8. Jeb, I've just been reading through your quest and I really like the Wind challenge, slightly complex, but fun none the less. Great job.
  9. Apparently they weren't among the group that Gordon knew, which is a good thing and they probably should stay hidden unless they have someone they can really trust.
  10. Capt. don't forget you have control over Count Knyghton. "Right away, I'll follow your lead, hopefully we can make it to him in time.
  11. My point is though, if a scum lied to a townie in a PM about their role and claimed a known townie PR, by having the names out there they'd be able to see through the scum's lies and prevent us with more suspects.
  12. So the bolsters in essence effect the player, unless they have rolled a shield and have a past summon out there?
  13. "Hey now it's not everyday one has sensory overload and telepathy all at the same time. I can't begin to imagine the strain on Vipera relayin' all these messages. Mr. Chevalier I think you and your group had better get headin' up the stairs to help the Rito."
  14. What would be the stat's of the player's personal companion?
  15. This came to mind, if Gordon really is scum and he knows the power roles that York does is it worth having them out there in the open since the scum would already know them anyways? It provides the opportunity that if the scum role-claimed a townie PR to someone privately we could catch them in their lie, especially if the real PR's are out in the open? Mind you not the ones that Gordon didn't know about, only the ones he was privy to.
  16. OoC: I don't think it counts for free hits only special damage and damage, but I could be wrong. "Point taken rogue, ya ever considered taking up high-way ambusin'?" <Vipera relay to Flavius to stand his ground and let him know that help is on the way.> "Sod, what I wouldn't give fer one of those magic transportin' gates that Arthur was always goin' on about."
  17. It may make today really easy, but let's not stop, there is still a lot to consider now knowing (I'm still in shock as to if this revelation is true) what we do about Gordon's allegiance and there is still plenty of time to consider all that this revelation impacts and whom it impacts as far as future suspects.
  18. Umm... not having very much experience with Bob, I'm not quite sure how to take this but if it's legit and the Admiral is not fooling with us then, *fist pump in the air* we are back in this baby! Any last words Gordon?
  19. "I wish it were so rogue, but the stairs will take them an entire turn a while and if Flavius drops back he will still take a free hit (12 damage) suffer an attack and will take another 12 damage more beatings from another free hit before Luke is in the same room and can start healing him."
  20. Can we all just settle down and have a logical conversation for once instead of judging scum or town from a bunch of convoluted statements that make the Gorgon's knot look like a bow-tie. We've decided if someone was scum in the past based on a lot of confusing statements and look where it has gotten us. Now then, are we sure York knows 3 of the power roles? *looks around for any disagreement* Okay then, and we know York got the info from Donna, who we now know was town and have no reason to believe she would have lied about her role correct? *looks again* Now York tried to pull a sting with McAndrews and apparently has PM's to "prove" that the sting was setup before York went all crazy in the thread right? So one, York is scum and is flailing by seeming to appear useful by stating he knows 3 PR's which apparently he does, or two York is a town who knows the PR's and tried to setup a sting that botched. Putting that aside, we have this: Scuba (sorry I forgot your character's name ) claims that York is not the vig, which from my understanding is what York is still claiming correct? If that's the case then we have a concrete lie that someone is telling, can we focus on that first? Also as a reply to the part that addresses me, my thought is that if York was neutral, she'd have a set role (Assassin/vig whatever) and she wouldn't have been so confused about it when she was trying to threaten the town as part of her supposed sting operation. If she was scum, why would she be blabbing that she knows 3 town roles, I would have thought the safer option would have been to down-play her involvement and claim plain vanilla, instead of trying to keep so many lies afloat ending in what some are calling this "flailing" my point is that her scum team would have seen the danger of such a move and would have nixed it. If they apparently have 5 members then I wouldn't think they would go to such an extreme to suggest to York that she try such an elaborate and confusing defense in order to stick around for 1 more day.
  21. OoC: In order to attack we need to be in the same room as an enemy regardless for ranged attacks correct? We can either move or attack right, thus if we were to move into the room ahead of us, we (Team Yellow) would take free hits from all those in the room? Skrall's mind over flowed with images, sounds, and stimuli as his eyes were opened by Vipera, he stumbled back but only for a moment as he noted the gaurds ahead of them. <Vipera, relay to Flavius that he needs to fall back to Luke on the 1st floor and for Nyx and Phil to join Luke and his Party at the bottom of the stairs.> "I've sent the Rito to his death," Skrall thought to himself. "There's no way we could make it to him before he would be struck down."
  22. I believe his trouble keeping his story straight is what proves he is actually a terrible bluffer and therefor town, remember if he's neutral than McAndrews is definately implicated as well, which is also a possibility in the other scenario but is at least less likely.
  23. Ok, before I go into all the non-sense that has been going on as of late, I really want to put a word in about Burbank's lynching. Especially against those of you who are saying that you were so sure he was scum. I'm not one generally for being upset about these things, but come on. What did we have to go on against Burbank, basically a far fetched theory about the scum trying to deceive us into thinking which roles were available by killing off all the previous scum from the simulation. The theory that Burbank was scum due to York quick defending of him is now in my opinion blown out of the water given todays unraveling so we are left with a small bit of reasoning describing how a scum Burbank would have reacted to York's defending of him. This is really weak in my opinion and feels like just the sort of logic a scum would try to utilize to lead a lynch. Lieutenant Daly, I would have expected more than your down and out attitude from earlier today about your own opinions and I think you are trying to down-play your role in the leading of a rediculus lynch, also do we so easily forget the opinions of the late Ensign Falcon who was suspicious of Daly from early on? Enough rant for the moment. Moving on to York, I think we've seen too much confusion being generated by her to think she's still scum, McAndrews may not be in the clear, but I think the ones who still think that York should be on the chopping block specifically Rockford need be under scrutiny. York, if you are the vig. I would like some clarification of your previous killings. Who said anything about there being 5 scum?
  24. OoC: I should be blessed and lucky, also Luke should have healed Tarn. "Very well, join up with Cronk and his group." Skrall accepted the mead from Phil, "thanks chap." Skrall downed the mead, "now any other questions? Ms. Toboso I'd suggest you utilize one of yer dragon scales, Mr. Harkenshire, if ya've got a mead I'd suggest you use it."
  25. "Very well, I was thinkin' this: Cronk, I was expectin' Tarn, the little shade De'kra, and Count Knyghton to accompany you, that gives you a barbarian for holdin' back the enemies, a knight fer keepin' the party safe and 1 Pheonix essence with ya. Alexandre, I'd appreciate it if you and Galen would accompany Count Lewis to outside Alandri's quarters. Thothwick ya'd be with our mage Arthur, pardon his rather vague look at the moment, the Elven cleric, and Mr. Harkenshire guardin' Ella just outside of her study, that gives you a cleric, pheonix essence, a darkness wieldin' mage and a quick ranger. Nyx, the rogue with the chicken, and the two bird people, you four would be in the halls keepin' an eye out for any enemy troops lurkin' about, we'll get help to ya quick if ya come upon too large of a group. Xander if ya wouldn't mind givin' that pheonix essence to Nerwen I think she'll need it. Yourself, Isabella, and the snake-like lookin' mage would then accompany me to take out Emeraldo, Phil if ya wouldn't mind, I could use a mead if ya could spare one." For those who need it in a little clearer format: Team Blue: (Southern most Corridor) Cronk, De'Kra, Count Knyghton, Tarn Team Red: (Corridor just south of Alandri's quarters) Luke, Alexandre, Galen Team Green: (Corridor just outside of Ella's Study) Nerwen, Thothwick, Arthur, William Team Yellow: (Corridor just to the west of Team Blue) Skrall, Sarick, Xander, Isabella Team Orange: (Hallways) Atramor, Nyx, Flavius, Denerii
