  1. No, I don't only consider unique pieces, but printing and coloring on the pieces that can't be found anywhere else. But, to each his own.
  2. It's definitely a store exclusive. I'm sure it will be released by the end of 2013.
  3. I like the Robot Zane better, but I totally overlooked the new torso on this normal Zane. Still, eh. I wouldn't necessarily count the short Nindroid as exclusive, as it has pieces and printing that already have been in other sets, but you're right about variety.
  4. Nope, it's not on mine, but that's not printing. That's definitely a paint error, and probably how the seller got their hands on the figure (it probably didn't pass the quality test and got disposed of).
  5. Oh wow, just noticed we're getting normal Zane. Yeah... even less of a chance I'll buy this set now.
  6. Right there. It has been done many times before, but my favorite example was with another retail exclusive, the Toy Story Pizza Planet Truck set. You load the discs through the top hole, and when you pull the part all the way in the back, the disc loads. Then, you let go and the disc shoots as it's pushed forward.
  7. Oh, that makes sense. I doubt this is the final wave. That was this year's wave. I have a feeling we'll get Summer 2014 sets, and we're basically guaranteed new sets up until the theatrical movie comes out to keep the brand fresh.
  8. Wow, that set is pretty boring. It looks like it's going to be $30 judging by the box size and piece count, so I'll get it for primarily for Zane, but there's some decent pieces there. Looks like a neat new spin (no pun intended ) on the disc-shooting play feature we see from time to time.
  9. Walmart has set 4628, which comes with 600 pieces, for $15. And Target has the Forest Police Station for $50.
  10. Why would they make that? They already covered the whole movie trilogy in the 2012 game... I'm really curious when this is going to be released. I don't know if they could do a release before the film trilogy finishes in December, as the dialogue is most likely straight from the films. And these games usually release in November, May/June, and March. They may release it a few days before the film, but that would be really unusual.
  11. Here it is.
  12. Wow, that's an awesome find! Those are definitely polybags, as majority of the 3xxxx sets are polybags. It's cool that LEGO is finally acknowledging polybags in official sets!
  13. The listings I've seen on eBay in the last two days only have the first three sets. So, I consider it rare at the moment.
  14. Very nice finds, considering the Dol Guldur Battle set is the most rare of the four.
  15. Exactly. Same happened with the Lone Ranger- the sets were released in April as the fil was planned to be released in May, but it got pushed back to July.
  16. Besides the preliminary picture, nope. It's definitely a retail exclusive, though.
  17. As the Steam Roller set? Most likely not. The Spidey/Avenger sets are planned for March or May, while the Batman sets are planned for January.
  18. Eh, still like the official head the best. I don't like it with a horizontal shrink, but some vertical shrinks work.
  19. In the catalog it says the Series 13 is "Series S" and is based on recognizable characters, and that there will be a D2C set to complete the collection of Series S, and All About Bricks (which is always right, I can't find a time when they weren't) along with some site called "Nerdly" have said that there's going to be a CMF Series along with a House set, and someone working on The Simpsons backed up Nerdly's article. So it's safe to say we're getting one, but I guess it isn't 100% confirmed until we hear straight from TLG themselves.
  20. Time for Uncle Justin to step in... Good photo editing (I could barely crop that image myself), but I think the resized heads look terrible. I know it's your ideal size, but it sure ain't mine. It looks like the Buzz Lightyear head on a regular minifigure torso without any of his accesorries. It's not like a regular minifigure head that way either, as there is so much open shoulder space on the torso. I think if the head was that way for the official figures instead of the way it is now, I would react the way a lot of you are with the official figure heads we have now. Another reason I like the official big-sized heads that I haven't previously mentioned is that it makes the minifigure look very cartoon-y and even makes the official Ned figure look adorable. At least it does to me. Well, we're definitely getting one. Not sure if you know that. I agree with you completely- but I really hope we get multiple series. Granted, if they make more series, I hope they're separate from the normal minifigure line, or that they at least put out one a year in the regular CMF spot. But not many people agree with us, pal. Also, Ojik, I'm still working on the pictures. I'll try to get 'em up tomorrow.
  21. They'll most likely be released mid-December, which is when they were released last year in the "wild". December 14th is when they were first spotted in a US Toys"R"Us last year. But... only time will tell.
  22. The poster is supposedly in the British LEGO Club Magazine for December. Interestingly enough, part of the poster appeared in the retail catalog!
  23. Indeed, don't fret, it was a legitimate request. I'm working on them, just that I'm out now.
  24. The sets come out in May, and pictures for them weren't in the first preliminary catalog.
  25. Aww, well thanks! Heh, nice pun. The original name of the set was Fool's Palace.
