According to Huw, the Sandcrawler set isn't UCS and will be a regular retail set. That's odd. We don't usually get $300 sets in retail. Personally, I think it will be a D2C set but not UCS. So, I think it will be available only at LEGO Brand Stores/S@H. I guess... Only time will tell.

It's there as it amuses people like us, like most Easter eggs. Think of the Aqua Raiders skeleton in the Portal of Atlantis set. That theme was dead for three years when it came out, and it hasn't been mentioned after that Easter egg.

Here's my Tower of Creativity set video review! It's another very strong set, but I feel like the floors on the tower are a bit cluttered. I really wish it was $30 in the US, and not $40.

Chowren Toys has never been a news source, but I see them as reliable. They're a legitimate LEGO retailer, which means they should have some inside knowledge.

Speaking of video reviews of Disney Princess sets, I bought the Cinderella's Romantic Castle set today at the Sawgrass LEGO Store. Watch at your own risk?? It's a fantastic set! I love the pieces, and it's super fun to play with. I also picked up the Tangled set, but that review will be up hopefully tomorrow.

Doubt we'd get that many sets. I think we'll see (unfortunately) only around two, four max. It makes sense as the Summer 2013 wave of The LEGO Movie sets may include some DC Super Heroes sets, which I'm starting to think is going to happen. But that's just my speculation. And, doubt we'll see an X-Men Juniors set. That image originated here, but thanks anyways. And, holy crud, how many Darth Potatoes are there here? There's you, darth_tater, DarthPotato. Potatoes are cool, so all is good.

I cried too, but I cried with tears of joy. That was awesome. Yeah, 'Hive', I think you nailed it. This is most likely what he meant. I don't see them doing a fairytale twist with Castle now that the Princess line is out. The Princess line is a lot like Castle the more I think of it. And, it was in past projects. Oh well.

So, on this website, I found the description for Spinlyn's Cavern! Of course, that's just a rough translation, but now we know who'll be in the set. So we got Spinlyn, Eris, and Rogon. I guess that's good for people like me who don't want to get the Rogon set and still want Rogon. The 2014 Eris is going to be common next year though, as she's in a Speedor set. Nevertheless, Spinlyn is exclsuive to this set. By the description alone, it doesn't sound to exciting- I hope it's not a facade with a spider web or two and a missile launcher, and a "strong rhino motorcycle". I guess we'll see soon though. They listed it for about €39,99, so it will be around $40 in the US. Oh, and Spinlyn is the spider queen.

Fantastic job! I'm not the biggest Batman fan out there, but I'll definitely have to log in to my Cuusoo to support this one. Not only is it extremely detailed, but I could definitely see LEGO making this around a $250 price point if this gets the sufficient amount of supporters. I just hope licensing conflicts don't occur. The quarter-opening play function is creative and will makes this set so fun to play with! Alas, I love set that have references, and this concept is full of awesome Batman references.

Some of the new Friends 2014 sets are at Walmart! I found the Stephanie's Beach House set, and the Juice Bar set at a Walmart near me in Margate, Florida. I picked up the Beach House set, and it is fantastic! Definitely my favorite 2014 set that I own at the moment. The design is phenomenal, as goes for some of the new pieces! Only major flaw is that there's a window next to the shower, so everyone can see the minidolls showering. If video reviews are your thing, I made one here:

This is interesting...I found this on Asger Johansen's Linkedin page- that's where Castle 2013 was first (indirectly) mentioned. He usually works as a concept developer at TLG. It was in his past projects though, but this wasn't here last year. Will we see the Castle line have a fairy tale subtheme in Summer 2014?
