  1. Right on I wish they did that too.
  2. What I want is a limit to how many times the variable is changed when you press the left/right NXT buttons.
  3. I know a lot about programming in the nxt software so I think I'll stick with that. Thanks anyways!
  4. I want to use the nxt software to prgram this robot. Thanks anyways.
  5. Hi I just bought a lego IR link sensor and am in the proccess of making a program for it. I will be using 1 nxt in my technic creation. I want to use 2 touch sensors to move one PF motor forwards or backwards on a channel selected by the left/right nxt buttons. The problem is that I wanted to use the left/right buttons on the brick to change the PF channels but limit it so that it can only change to 3 channels. (I hope that makes sense.) I am using the NXT software to program these robots. Here are the programs. http://www.brickshel...ry.cgi?f=549419 (Folder is not yet public so when it is click on the folder problems.)
  6. If that part is new and it had little stress marks out of the box then you could ask LEGO for a new one.

  14. Thanks for that but one think I forgot to mention is that the kids are aged 7-12 and they have not worked with the NXT before this. NXT45 I actually dont know at the moment. I am leaning more on the different robot ATM.
  15. Hello lego fans I am teaching lego mindstorms to 8 people and have 3 NXT's and wanted to know what simple robots they could build. I am teaching a 4 week course and thinking of going through 1 sensor / week. (US, touch, color. 4th week TBD) I have only 1 hour for them to build and program the robot so it has to be an easy build but with all of the sensors. (4 people /course and 2 hours a day for a total of 8 people.) [EDIT] These kids are aged 7-12. Thanks! William "NXT45"
  16. If there is amazon in Australia you could buy some storage containers from akromills. Thats what I have and it works like a charm!
