The Curse of IMHOTEP - Day Two
Hinckley replied to Pandora's topic in LEGO Mafia and Role-Play Games
If I'm telling the truth, how are we better off with me dead. How is that "holding all options open?" You contradict yourself in the same paragraph!! I've answered to the conversion possibility. I doubt I can be converted. If I am, how could I possibly continue to give the true results. Somebody would call me out on giving false results. Would I be Scum and forced to give up the Scum that the Nocturnal Skillers are uncovering?? I would call that a Scum move on your part. Boiling down what I said to a simple sound bite. Perhaps you'd make a good politician. No, I didn't pull a "Zephyr" and send out 11 random messages. As I said, I left "easter eggs" in my posts and 11 people were able to decipher them based on their roles. Is that why you were afraid to have a conversation with me? You knew you couldn't be verified by my hidden code?? I'm fine keeping my vote where it is for now. Does anyone else find it odd that the three pointing their fingers at each other, Nadir, Malaena and Jennifer are on a list of reasonable suspects? -

Red Moon 2 Confirmation & Discussion

I lost the bag of original characters. I need to locate that as there were some rare parts used. I saw it every day until I posted the sign-up thread. Now, it's completely gone. I've looked everywhere. Anyway, Chapter One should be posted some time today. Thanks for confirming. -
The Curse of IMHOTEP - Day Two

I have clarification from the tracker. The result was that he though he followed me and "they" targeted Fitzdef. They as in a generic they, not the tracker, generic they. What the megabluck? You know that you just did that to yourself, right? You think the only way to stop the lynch is to announce publicly that you're a Virgin. That's as unwise as Fitzdef doing it yesterday. I find this hard to believe, especially since you had opportunities to take care of this in private. And no, I'm not insisting you should've told me. One of your reasons for voting for me in the first place was because I put "so much pressure on you, you actually decided to stop communicating with me." That's not the exact quote, but let's have a look at this "pressure situation" I created: Run and hide!!!! Hinckley's tightening the thumbscrews!!!! That was no pressure. That was an opening to talk. Your next move didn't have to be claim, but if you were so suspicious of me, it was certainly an opportunity to try to poke me for slip-ups. The problem I have with this is not that she didn't claim to me but that she claimed to everyone I was pressuring her to reveal to me. Does that seem like pressure to you? My other problem is your tunnel vision on me and your automatic mistrust and derision for the list I posted. Why are you insisting that it's all lies. I've said every time I've referenced it that it is comprised of claims. I'm not trying to get people to think it's a list of facts, I'm keeping all of the claims on the table so we can all take a part in strategizing. You keep trying to tell people that it's some ruse I'm pulling and that I'm Scum making a list of lies. Everyone on that list knows who they are! I'm totally accountable for all the claims and the information they've confided in me. Are you forgetting that the person who voted for you is the person who brought forward the investigation result of Cultist against me? I would hardly call Fitzdef my ally. I certainly wouldn't call him pro-Mehmet. I don't think anybody would call me sovereign at this point. Did you miss the plan to once again focus all night actions on me? I have to agree that the insults from Huge are excessive. Can we all stop playing this way? Where did this culture of insults begin? It's a game. How's my glass house? Where did anybody suggest that we lynch the people not on my list? I agree that Malaena is probably Scum and I would add Hans to that too, but I don't think Ms. Taylor is off the hook. Especially since she keeps insisting that voting first means she's Town. Reverse psychology: If I vote first, I'm automatically not Scum! And she didn't vote first on Day One, she infamously voted second. Well, if we knew he was responsible for Percy's killing we would definitely be lynching that person. You think attention has been steered away from me?? I assure you it's not. I haven't stopped reading or typing every waking moment of my weekend. And as far as the "mirrored cloak" story being cockamamie, yes, I agree with you, it's nuts. I wish it weren't happening to me. I'm just surprised as you are that I'm not lynched at this point and that people are believing it. But they have expressed reason to trust me. The Scum alone couldn't save such a bullshitter from a lynch. I suppose people believe I'm telling the truth, but it's not lost on me that someone wants me around. I'm not convinced that someone on my list isn't trying to get more info from what I know. Some people have asked for the info and that itches my suspicions, but for now, I'm being trusted and if I am telling the truth about all of this, isn't that an asset to the Camp? I think people are willing to find out because if we just knock me out right now and I am telling the truth, that's probably helping the Cultists by removing the person that people are trusting and reporting Night Action results. Have I lied about any results thus far? No. So, your blind insistence that I'm Scum makes me suspicious of you because you seem desperate to turn people on me. Almost every post you made at the beginning of the day was against me and against the list. What's your fixation on it about? I've done this before successfully. Why are you suddenly so against the idea? I even explained that to you by PM. I pointed out that I did this successfully in another hole in the desert. Are you afraid of me succeeding? I'm not ready to unvote you. It shows the Scum all they have to do to avoid being lynched is claim Virgin publicly. You really put a target on yourself and that's all your doing. Nobody forced you. That's not a smart vote. I don't like you. Especially since your play is about what could happen, not what did. Don't confuse people, Captain. It's irresponsible. That's a hasty vote and unwise. I agree. It's wacko. We're in total agreement there. I expected to be lynched today and that's why my first comments were mostly a farewell. But that changed. People either trust me or want me around for other reasons. We'll find out soon why. Following what I've started is a viable strategy. Ending it now leaves the Town with a lot less to work with. That's not a good attitude. I'm inclined to keep my vote with you because the Town doesn't need negative people around. You've already given up on us, then what good can you do for us? You're just going to drag our efforts down or drag us down with your possible Cultist cohorts. And do you really think these people just ran to me and claimed without thinking twice? We had conversations, we looked for ways to confirm each other. You're insulting everyone on the list, no wonder they're not following your attempts to lynch me. You're calling them all stupid. That's odd considering our private conversations... Someone protected me with a mirrored cloak. The two night actions that focused on me had they "thought" they protected and tracked me. I'm theorizing that the mirror messed with their results. Perhaps even gave a mirror image of what was actually happening. Why would the investigation result been solid if the other two night actions got "you think" results? Fitzdef, are you sure you can trust this investigator?? I don't even know what to think about this. Kill Mehmet! Kill Mehmet! Kill Mehmet! Oh that's not working? Kill the first person that Fitzdef votes for instead... I don't trust Melaena either, but I think my vote is better placed with you. I think you're both Scum and it would be a good long strategy to vote for a fellow Scummie to screw with the voting pattern. I hate this. There really is a big risk in lynching anyone that could possibly be a Virgin... -

OK. Keep asking what? What have I asked you? Oh sorry. I misread. You think I'm pushing you? Talk to Fitzdef about feeling pushed by me. I have not begun to push you. I can't figure out if you are Scum or not so I'm pushing you. :poke: :poke: :poke: :poke: -

Yes, someone "cleared" him to me. But if the tracker got a mirror result while tracking me, then in reality, def targeted me. As I've stated he could be the investigator and covering for the Virgins, or he could be a Cultist framer. Or the mirror really messes with things and just made up a ridiculous result. That would be a crappy Campie Action and I'm inclined to believe that the cloak is not actually crappy. If Fitzdef is the framer, then the person who verified him to me is Scum as well. However, I'm inclined to believe that def is not the investigator due to the timing of his revealing the investigation so late in the day. However, if the cloak is useful then it showed the tracker that def was targeting me and he would therefore be the Cultist Framer. This constant wondering is splitting my head in two. The tracker was clear about two things. The results said he "thinks" he tracked me and the result was that I did target def. Now if he just "thinks" that because he was looking at a mirror image, then he caught def tracking me. It's not likely, but the possibility is certainly worth remembering... The watcher has to watch me too then to see all the people who target me. If we're right, the investigator and framer should both be seen targeting me if I end up as Cultist. Only one person should be targeting me if I come up Camp. Oh, and a protector in there somewhere? I hope... -

I certainly don't control the Investigator and I hate to have another night wasted on me. But it makes sense so you guys know who not to lynch. I know not to lynch me, damn it. megablock Cultists... OK, I'll set it up. Fitzdef will have to ask the investigator to investigate me again. And the framer will have to frame me again. Wait a minute... I'm not sure this is a plan... I could just ask the vigilante to kill me. -

I'm certainly not going to let it go. It's first and foremost on my mind. Any ideas on how to confirm these claims quickly so we can focus on finding the Cultists and whatever Third-Party Stupid Rouge might be out there? -

Go read the hole in the desert called The Werewolf and the Stupid Rouges. Harriet the Slut kicks everyone's megablocks. At least that's how I remember it. Rick, typically, dies before it's all over. Stupid Rick. I started highly suspicious of you. However, all of your reasoning seems sound. I'm inclined to trust you and I agree with your findings about Ms. Balls and Ms. Taylor. I'm willing to be either one of the is Scum... Stupid cold. I met "willing to bet" not "willing to be." -

What a nice response. In other news, I think I was framed and the cloak did weird things to the Nocturnal Skills that targeted me. I don't think the cloak makes me look like a Cultist. I think the Cultists made me look like a Cultist. I think the cloak is just goofy. There has to be some benefit to the cloak, though. So, would the benefit be that the Tracker uncovered a malicious targeting? I can't see how a Campie artifact could give results that would confuse the Camp this much... Ugh...Sorry about the cyclical guessing. -

Well, you were still there, yet you didn't say anything at the time. How convenient for you to look down your nose at me the next day. Like that's hard in that situation. It was as messy as this mirror cloak thing. But what gets me here is you boil it down to "I've got a gut feeling!" when I clearly said "I have valid claims in private." Thank you for this work in looking at the voting pattern. It is a very good point. I thought it odd that while they were both suspicious, Ms. Balls did place a vote for Ms. Taylor at one point. Perhaps an act yes, to seem disconnected. Not to mention that Ms. Balls's original vote was suspicious since she claimed to have no reason to vote except to test Ms. Taylor. Why Ms. Taylor needed to be tested at that point, I have no idea, but Ms. Balls did unvote before Ms. Taylor came by to prove herself. Then, after Ms. Taylor voted along, Ms. Balls claimed it was actually a good call and her vote would stay. Odd, but it makes me feel better about trusting Mr. Leplot in the future. I also received a private message from Ms. Balls, asking if I could explain to an inexperienced noob what Fitzdef meant about her seeming Scummy? Had she done something wrong? She was so confused... I would also expect Mr. Good and Hard to be a little more active today. Even when he was talking to a fish, the fish had some excellent theories and was active in trying to solve the game. This cliche he's talking to is nothing but babbling. I would suppose it would be easy for him to verify himself to whoever he investigated yesterday and perhaps that person could talk to someone who they also trust to get us a message that he is on the level and no, I'm not suggesting that be me. For the record, Roger has not contacted me at all since this has started. He's not on my list there. But couldn't the Scum be working extra hard to find them? While one of them is out killing, why wouldn't another be searching for the next night's Virgin? It could easily be a Scum role. And a rather desperate public confession makes me suspicious too. How would I make up 11 roles? How quickly would I be caught doing that? And did any of those people come forward today and say "I'm so and so and Mehmet is lying about what I told him?" None. Because I haven't made it up and logic should dictate that nobody would try to do that. I can't think of how it would work if I was lying. My head would explode, first of all. Anyway, you're way too quick to agree with Fitzdef's investigator's results and your first few votes of the day seem to be trying to make people suspicious of me for faulty reasoning too. That couple with your shenanigans with Ms. Balls and I am confident in placing a vote for you, especially since we had such an odd private conversation that you are misconstruing. Vote: Ms. Jennifer Taylor (Sandy) I am inclined to agree that Ms. Ophelia Balls (fhomess) is also Scum. It wouldn't surprise me if, therefore, Johnson Cox (Cecilie) is alsp Scum due to her private communication with me, also playing a confused damsel. Roger Goodenarde (Professor Flitwick) better try to get a confirmation from somebody or start speaking up in thread. Otherwise, I'm really going to regret not voting him out on Day One. I'll go ahead and add Nadir Zenith (JimButcher) to my list of suspects since I don't believe what he's told me in private and his behavior today was very close to Ms. Taylor's. I will keep their aliases, if they have one, secret for now. Furthermore, Goofy has let me know that he can't use the cloak on the same person two nights in a row, anyway. So, please be careful in reporting your Night Action results tomorrow. If you have that you "think" you did something, consider the mirror cloak and the person you're targeting. Let me re-iterate Nadir Zenith was trying to get me to reveal people on the list, just as was Ms. Taylor. Seems scummy. I say I'm protecting people and they're both screaming "Reveal! Reveal!" That's a good point. I'm inclined to be suspicious of people who are accepting this crazy theory too. I'm surprised how many people seem to think it's logical. It's crazy. But I will say, I appreciate your logical thinking and voting for Ms. Taylor instead of me. I know you probably want to vote for me. I apologized to you earlier but I'll do it again. I'm sorry I annoyed you and hurt your feelings. It wasn't my intention. And I totally respect your desert hole playing. I may not always agree with you methods, but I think of you as smart and logical. A truly dedicated player. I stand by my earlier criticisms, but I definitely have many positive thoughts about you too. I wubs you!!! -

That's a very good suggestion. It's possible, but Fitzdef is usually very clear in his telling of things. I doubt he would leave that detail out. Also, he might be rolling his eyes at you sometime soon. -

Oh Ra, this is so tedious. Can't you just read it all like the rest of us? Someone investigated me and the result was Cultist. I was protected by two people, one who uses a mirrored cloak. The tracker targeted me and thinks he saw me targeting def, which isn't possible since I didn't do anything last night. I'm suggesting the cloak shows a mirror image of things. However, that would mean def targeted me, which he claims isn't possible. And why aren't the protector and the investigator shown if it is, in fact, a mirror image and they supposedly targeted me. If the supposed tracker was just fishing to get me to reveal if I was a Virgin or not, perhaps he threw in the "I think" to make it sound like it could've been messed with. Just in case we called him out. But the mirror I was covered with does suggest that a mirror image of what actually happened could be shown. You know what, Goofy? Keep your megablocking mirror cloak off of me tonight. -

Hinckley replied to Pandora's topic in LEGO Mafia and Role-Play Games
I have a complete list of what the people on my list claimed to have happened last night: Ugh, I'm so exhausted. I'm sick so mentally and physically exhausted here. This hole in the desert is a pain in my megablocks. Am I even spelling desert right? Claimed Virgins Donald Duck - told me about being a Virgin before the concept was revealed in thread. I'm inclined to believe this person. Daisy Duck - verified by saying "not supposed to share the info" which was what the Virgins were told. However, by the time Daisy verified itself to me by PM, I had already mentioned this in the day thread. Scrooge McDuck - verified by Easter Egg, and then by a side effect of someone else's Night Action, apparently "not a cultist". Campbell's Soup Kid - Came forward at the end of Day One. I ran out of Duck names. I realize the Campell's Soup Kids aren't really a cartoon but I had just eaten some Tomato soup for my cold so it was on my brain... Night Actions Magilla Gorilla - Successfully protected someone. Scooby-Doo - claims to have watched someone. Seems verifiable, but would be an easy claim. So far, seems on the level. Superman - dipshit forgot to send the night action in. Papa Smurf - the protector who said they protected me but not the owner of the mirror cloak. The Thing - apparently successfully blocked a person we'll call Bam-Bam. Inspector Gadget - tracked me and got the false result that I targeted Fitzdef. Iron Man - sat around and didn't die. Goofy - protected me with this mirrored cloak which seems to be causing a lot of problems. Batman - our vigilante was going to try to target someone, but apparently was blocked. I think that's everything. The people who are on this list know that I'm truthfully reporting the Night Action results that were reported to me. These are claims, and shouldn't be treated as fact. They are for future reference for finding the truth. What the hell happened to me last night? Was I framed and had an odd effect of having a mirrored cloak on me? Why was def targeting me, if that is the case? Is the tracker lying? Is the second protector lying? This is messed up. Unless he's lying, which I even highly doubt. It's good to hear from you though. I've missed you. See any good pebbles lately? Your silence was a bit disconcerting. So is this Tracker lying to me? Did the Scum assume I was the investigator or tracker and that I would go after def to confirm him? Was the tracker postulating with a shot in the dark? Sounds risky. I can't imagine they would hinge their strategy on that. Maybe they just wanted to see how I would react to confirm if I stayed home or went out last night and therefore what my Virign status is. Again, they'd practically be sacrificing this supposed tracker in order to find that out. Perhaps they can spare one of their own to get another Virgin?? Not that I'm a Virgin. Oh, what the megabluck? This game is such a pain in my desert hole! I agree with both of these statements. I can't even follow this post. Whatever happened to me last night makes no sense. The Scum love causing confusion. Should we kill me off to remove the confusion? A wise man once told me "Sometimes, the only way to win is to not play." If we lynch me, we refuse to be confused. Like a certain Virgin Flavor Cop we know of?? -

There is no consensus. Apparently I was the one investigated last night. How long is Betty Swallocks going to try to say something? You've been here for a long time. Are you just compiling things somewhere for further reference or are you actually going to say anything. You don't strike me as the type to stay quiet when stuck in a hole in the desert... Does it look like a mirror image? Did the Tracker see you targeting me in the mirror and you were framing me? But then why wouldn't the protector or investigator show up in the mirror then???? This is nuts.
