I think you'll have more luck if you prod... never mind.

Ra, someone shoot me. What a mess of a day. Please don't actually shoot me. That's just a saying... (You think I'd learn. Next, my ugly tombstone will be shot up as well) -

That's one. I'm willing. Wuntin is around. That's three of us. I see some other people lurking in this hole in the desert. Others are currently answering me by PM. Yes, I think it's possible... Oh God, I'll start it. My own friend and Regulator. Unvote: (who the hell am I currently voting for???) Unvote: Ishaq Ittaq (Wuntin) Vote: Father Thomas “Tomato” Thomson (Ricecracker) I feel fine about this. We have a solid Town block to work from. The Father has been told in past holes that being a silent lurker doesn't help anything. The way this day has been going, there were plenty of spots to hop in. And it will teach the other lurkers a lesson. We know what to look for tonight and in the coming days. Time to route them out of their holes in the sand and feed them to their own evil statue! -

You know what sucks about this people??? I left an easter egg in one of my posts for those who were really Town to pick up on and Shack Attack picked up on it. Can't we vote for Scum today???? Who's around and willing to vote for the priest. Please give a quick show of hands! It could be argued that this constant re-voting is exposing a bunch of confirmed Townies, but I really hope the Scum don't know which way is up at this point with who to target tonight, virgins or Night Actions. There should be a helluva Nocturnal Skill Web being woven. We should be able to learn a lot. Anyone else want to take a crack at leading the vote? I don't want to be responsible for lynching an Innocent. -

I hope it will too. I am sorry it had to go this way. Your inactivity and then crawling out of the wood work to place a vote after so many other votes had been placed for others were enough suspicion to make you a more viable target in my head. This is nerve-wracking and it's all coming down to the wire. Perhaps everyone who can should keep a close eye on this thread until it's time to sleep? -

I've definitely thought of that. So what do we do now? Sitting back and doing nothing while we've been trying to figure it out, as pointed out to you earlier, isn't helpful and can sometimes be seen as Scummy. I have to be honest, whatever you happen to be at this point, I've heard enough roles today from many people to think that the Town is in good hands with or without you. The people who have talked to me in private comprise quite an arsenal. If you have more, that'd be great, but next time you're stuck in a hole in the desert, don't make yourself a target by being a bump on a log. Hell, right now we're not losing you yet, but I think it's the best course of Action considering what we know. So, don't roleclaim. After my last post, the Scum would know what we're looking for anyway. And really, I'm sorry. This just seems the best course of action at this point. -

It's a good story and you'd have to be ridiculously clever to be making it up. Since I had to explain part of it to you and how it doesn't mean that Fitzdef is lying, I'm inclined to believe you. Especially due to the way you worded certain things. It reminded me of words I had heard others speak from Ra as well. I even defended Fitzdef in analyzing what you've told me. If I die for believing it and it's a lie, I deserve to die because it would be an excellent ruse. I unvote: Big Butthole (Eskallon) Some people like getting fisted. I unvote: Hugh Janus (Eskallon) and vote: Shaq Ittag (Wuntin) and encourage everyone else to do the same fast. -

Well, we're only losing the far east end of our hole in the desert, so hopefully there will be enough activity if Big Butthole can convince us. Is there a proxy option this game? If so, proxy someone you trust I guess... -

You're not reading everything. I said the exact same thing. We're suggesting keeping him alive in case the claim is true, but of course we'll be looking for verification in the coming days. Everyone we vote for does something! I apologize for the constant unvoting and revoting but I want everyone to prepare to unvote Huge Anus and jump onto Shack Attack. Here's why: 1. From what I can glean, this Virgin thing is the Cult win condition. Therefore, we really have to be careful because losing a Townie hurts us either way. We need our Night Actions and our Vanilla Virgins. I do think now that all Vanilla Townies are Virgin because from what I understand, to have a Nocturnal Skill you have to have shown some Skill Nocturnally. Anyone? 2. Everyone who has claimed either a role or virgin can easily be assessed in the coming days with our trackers and flavor cops. Knowing that everybody does something and is somehow detectable could make verifying out Townies very simple. Even if Huge Butthole is a Cultist that should be clear in a couple days through our Nocturnal Skills. If Good and Hard (see, we have a lot of sex references...) is the flavor cop, we should know when he tells us the results of who he has investigated (hopefully, with some privacy and skill. That will be good and hard to achieve!) If Fitzdef is not a Virgin, we can also tell through Nocturnal Skills one way or another. If Ms. WBD actually has a nocturnal skill, we should be able to likewise verify that. It's safer to verify than to randomly kill when we have so much to lose when we lose any Townie. So, it looks like we've done more than I've ever seen done on a first day in a hole in the desert. Let's wait to see what the Big Butthole has to say, but I hope there are enough people around to hammer Shack Attack if he is convincing enough to stick around for another day. I hope whatever decision we make it doesn't end up with any Virgins being any'ed tonight. -

Just to be clear, it appears that Hugh is also claiming to be a Virgin, but the claim seems so weak and odd, that's what made me suspicious in the first place which is why I offer Shack Attack and the Priest as viable alternatives if people are afraid to lynch someone who is claiming to be a Virgin, although it seems like a ruse in my eyes. -

If we all want to save those that are role-claiming and not enough people are convinced of the guilt of The Big Butthole than we should all change our votes to a quieter player; Ishaq Ittaq (Wuntin) or Father Tomato Thomson (Ricecracker). Shouldn't a priest be a virgin? Well, not necessarily and we're not supposed to put any stock in the character's job or description. Even if they roleclaim, they've been way too quiet with what's been going on today. These are two safe places to place votes after everything we've learned in this marathon of a first day... -

There is a reason to have a virgin flavor cop, in case we want to check people who are claiming to be virgins. Got it. And as someone pointed out to me, by PM, so that at least one townie knows who not to lynch. Took me a minute to think of it. Only four hours? Where does the time go? Oh right, pissing match. Reviewing the three statements of Huge Anus above, I'm tempted to vote for him. In it I see a pathetic attempt to pre-clear himself as Town to all of us and a bizarre attempt and throwing some confusion into a valid theory about the Scum's win condition. Do you guys see it? Or am I imagining it? I have time to change it but for now vote: Hugh Janus (Eskallon) If my suspicion is wrong and Enormous Butthole is town, than he is just a big weirdo. -

Yes, I'm putting character roles together tonight and hopefully starting Chapter One this weekend. I am a couple of days behind but close to on track. If Day 1 of IMHOTEP hadn't been so involved I'd be a little closer to on time. -

Oh Dear Ra. Sorry, I didn't see this before I posted, clarifying yet again my problems with your behavior. I'm sorry for stressing you out and hurting your feelings. Now we're in love! But when you said Ra told you, I took it to mean God which usually means the host. See why I was all crazy megablocks suspicious of that. Your explanation makes sense. You even used a visual and a definition! Goodenarde, could you clarify? Are you a virgin flavor cop or a virgin mason? -

Reviewing further, Nadir the pooper scooper and Ms. Stool, the poopsy twins also came in pretty quickly. Nadir hadn't read the rules or the thread enough to know that most votes convicted. Perhaps he was just scanning for good votes? Fitzdef is a strong player and if a strong case was made against him, the Scum may have tried to jump in line to get him out of our midst...if he is, in fact, what he claims to be. The only thing that bugs me about his wounded ego act is that claiming Virgin could save him from his slip-ups of his weird vote flip-flop and his odd claim about knowing the Scum win condition. I still find his behavior around that incident odd, as I've thoroughly explained so I'll not bother again... Just something to keep in mind. The martyr revelation that just cleared him in most people's eyes could still be a cover up tactic for his true cultist affiliation...or maybe I'm just getting paranoid in my old age. Who would this help??? The virgins are supposed to keep their status secret so how would it help the Town to know who the virgins are? It would only help the Scum. Someone help me out on this. Is there a valid reason the Town would need to know who the Virgins are? If there's a protector, sure, there's good reason for the Town to know, but a flavor cop knowing...doesn't mean the protector would then know. They'd have to hook up and how? How do they verify themselves to each other? It seems a stretch that we would have a Virgin flavor cop unless he needed to kill them all. Someone please help me out if my reasoning has skipped over something. -

Unvote: William Fitzpatrick (def) Shouldn't we instead of voting for Goodenarde look at the people who very suspiciously came out of hiding just to add votes to def's conviction? After I voted, Shaq Attack (Wuntin) and potty-mouth Huge Anus (Eskallon) swooped in pretty fast to vote along. Odd considering Shaq didn't have much to add and had passed over several other conviction and the enormous butthole hadn't done much either except attack Fitzdef. If Fitzdef is innocent, these lurking vote jumpers are worth careful consideration. If nobody agrees, I'll happily add my vote to the Good and Hard train. -

I didn't mean me, I meant working with the Town. At least I know you're that obsessed with yourself that you think everything's about you. The suspicion came over how you claimed to know it one second and were theorizing the next. And then refusing to answer valid concerns from people. Not just me, you were clear you were done talking to me. But how does spitting on everyone else who expressed concern help?? There was no reason to be that specific about your role. And no reason to completely spill how you knew. The Virgins are supposed to keep their status secret. Why would you blab it so freely on the first day? Because you can't see the game past your ego. Nothing wrong with saying "It's something I deduced from conversations in private with other players." instead of "If you think I'm Scum for revealing this then you're either stupid or Scum or don't know how to play." See the difference? You may be Town, but I question your moves so far. Revealing too much, being too cryptic. Nobody's asking anybody to "make friends". Having a shitty attitude isn't helpful because it turns away people that might be able to work with you. Congratulations, you're smart, but maybe you could learn some better social game play, even being the Mafia Genius that you are. -

Mr. Fitzdef, I've thought a lot about this all day. If you are really as pro-Town as you claim, please eat some humble pie and answer people's concerns instead of just insulting their game play. I can think of two reasons you would "know" what the Cultist's win conditions are. I assume you either are a cultist or one of the ones they need to kill. Your abrasive ego has come off more as a cultist who was trying to weed out the type they have to kill. Especially since you go from knowing the win condition to guessing it. If you are on their list, and are revealed by what's transpired today, there are certainly ways those Innocents with Nocturnal Skills to help you and/or the Town tonight. Thank you for working for us so diligently. Is it possible to work with us? With all that's come out today it would certainly help us all to start working together. -
