  1. Dangerous though. It could cause a bandwagon for no reason. Seeing two votes in place may encourage others to vote for that person just because. It's certainly dangerous considering that the most votes gets a lynch. One of us could be lynched by your actions with just two votes.
  2. Whaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaatt???!!!!?!??!?!!?!?! What kind of strategy is that? You'll vote for the first person who gets a vote no matter the reasoning or what case may be presented by them or others? I fail to follow your logic.
  3. I think Mr. Fitzwhatever won. I forgot to take my pants down.
  4. Aha. I thought I had read it clearly. Thanks for pointing that out. In response to your drumming things up, the third-party roles are normally stated that way...when we are in holes in the desert. The oddity Mr. FitzPatrick is referring to, as have others, yet you and Mr. Fitzwilliam seem oddly focused on Mr. Fitzpatrick, is that we have asked for clarification and we are still only threatened with being any'ed. I think it is benign as you have stated as well. I'm not saying Mr. FitzPatrick is innocent, I'm just saying I don't think his asking for clarification over the any threat is reason to believe he is some cultist.
  5. Finally, she finished mowing the lawn. Of course, the rule is clear that a majority doesn't get the vote, but my question was about reaching a majority. A majority would be the most votes and in some games that ends the day. That's where I was asking for clarification. Thanks for answering the rest about if a game day goes inactive. I guess it's not necessary for me to re-iterate why I asked about majority. I'm just being a know-it-all brat, so there. Oh, what do you know? I always thought "embellish" meant making a story sound better by adding untrue, but the actualy definition is unnecessary with "especially untrue facts" tacked on at the end. I learned something today. So, I thought you were committing an oxymoron, but it was just an oxy.
  6. No more sheep jokes in there. I'm offended. There's a line between humor and insult you know. The nerve. Lambs.
  7. Embellished with facts? The nerve! It was rather rambling. And his only contribution so far has been to suggest we pick a random name. The Scum wouldn't want that, would they though? Either way, we had already discussed what a foolish move drawing a name out of a hat would be. Odd that he chose the exact language. Or perhaps he's not listening at all... Noted odd behavior though.
  8. Lamb jokes? What the hell is this shit? Let me intervene for Mr. FitzwilliamPatrickson here. Once upon a time, deffy the sheep lived in a far off desert and had to go through a similar ordeal. In that situation, a lamb would show up and say "Just checking in! Just wanted to reassure you all I'm not a cultist." This behavior impressed deffy the sheep and he's trying to enlighten us and bring the light-heartedness and "expert play" here to our hole in the desert. See? It's just a silly thing. He thinks this type of humor enhances the level of play. He envisions future holes in the desert where people follow his lead and say things like "Sorry I haven't posted today! I'm just checking in to re-assure you all I'm not scum." It's neither suspicious or re-assuring because who can take anyone at their word. Who would actually try to pre-defend themselves so blatantly unless they're completely brain dead. Ooops? Was than an intelligence insult? No, not unless he is Scum and was actually trying to avoid any suspicion by repeatedly telling us he's innocent. It's clearly a joke/attempt to bring a style of play from another hole ... in the desert. Ignore it! His "I'm working twice as hard" is probably part of the same joke, although odd, not funny and a little egotistical, but completely benign, in my opinion, and not worthy of further discussion. Certainly, let's not give him a chance to slam his head against the wall again. He has answered to it several times and each time he has to again, it gives him yet another chance to insult someone's intelligence. I'm not saying he's innocent, but he's definitely not guilty just because he continuously made a lame joke. Balls.
  9. I just left that first part because I didn't want to give your strategy away. Don't cry. I love you! I was just trying to point out that you are insulting. It's true. You are a smart man and would be a dangerous scum. Your reactions to constant annoyance could give you away if you are hiding something. Also, I think my suspicions have been presented clearly. This first day ego war has definitely presented us with enough reactions from the others to start looking for potentially odd behavior. One might be able to analyze people's reactions to the situation already.
  10. Well, this is certainly intelligence insulting. I guess everyone who can't guess your strategy or is lower than your almighty intellect is stupid. Oh well...
  11. Well, clearly, I missed the year. I'll help by remembering our chatter as well... Wait, that's the sign-up thread. What would we be looking for? I was thinking we should check the confirmation... I'll just check both. ---- Not everything that isn't your idea deserves to be met with cynicism and derision. Also, balls slut applesauce.

You tell me. Go make one. Make sure there's a tail rotor.
  13. Ahem... Also, the first rule still claims the Cultists have to any the Townies in order to win. What does that mean? How do they any us? Is it painful? Hello? Update? Are the hosts home? *knock knock knock* I'm asking here because you've been reading the day thread and not giving us ample mod notes...like I do...which some people hate...is that why?...do you hate when I do it? It's not all about me? Is that what you said? Hello??
  14. Scum or dumb? And you don't think you're insulting anyone's intelligence. Not everyone who finds you suspicious is stupid and not everyone who argues against you is bending the truth. Go ahead and vote for me if you're so convinced. I will say I agree that the people who have run to support either me or Fitzwilliam could be seen as suspicious. I'm still wondering who he found suspicious before the argument began. He said he had some list, which we still haven't heard anything about. I am more suspicious of Penelope Farago than Gordon Bennet. I think Mr. Bennet was simply responding to Mr. Fitzwilliam's constant proclamation of innocence-which I don't think is a good place to focus any suspicion. I think this is simply Mr. Fitzwilliam's attempt to mirror practices in the land he comes from and bring this style here to our hole in the desert. That behavior is a character flaw on his part, but benign as far as suspicion goes. Ahmed Apu may be choosing sides, but he may also just be an outspoken hot-head. He is at least discussing things and has some suspicions of his own. Penelope's defense of Mr. Fitzwilliam came very early and was very clear. It seems suspicious to me. Not concrete, but all that has really stuck out to me. Outside of my previously voiced concern over Mr. Fitzwilliam's blowhard attitude and relative dickish manner of speaking to the rest of us. That is probably more the result of an ego war, but I defiantly...I mean definitely think we should keep an eye on him.
  15. Oh good. Now you've cleared it all up. You said you're innocent therefore you are. Glad that's settled. Now how do we clear the rest of us. Fitzpatrick McWilliampants says he's town therefore he's above suspicion and his character is beyond reproach. Being suspicious of him now is just plain stupid. Anyone who thinks he's not Town is just plain dumb. Have I not done that? All I meant to say was that I'm surprised anyone was ready to defend either one of us. This early in such an ordeal, I would imagine everyone would be suspicious of everybody and have no reason to trust or defend anyone. Let me be clear since you've questioned my last couple of posts. I think you are suspicious because you swooped in and defended McPatrickFitz Williamslutballs (def). I fully admit that, from my perspective, I may not be able to see that it could be a conclusion you could logically draw at this point in our ordeal. But, if I saw a couple of people arguing, I'm not sure I would trust either one enough at this point to start defending them. A red flag went up over you when that happened, in my mind. Hopefully I've "come out and said" this clearly enough for you to understand. I know Is and Ossie made the rules for this lynch mob, but wouldn't it be great if we could only vote for people who were "nominated" during those first few hours? That would really make that rule function the way it was intended. I'm sure there are many flaws in that idea, but I'm basically agreeing with you. If you have an accusation, make it. If you're accusing an innocent, it gives them more time to plead their case before a bandwagon potentially forms, and may not be undoable...
  16. Good point. Perhaps he'll even make the first accusation as antagonists in such books never make the first accusation...
  17. Point out where I called it paranoia. You think my "concern" is a "facade?" Why is that? If that's what you think, follow Mr. Fitzwilliam's advices and strategies throughout this ordeal. I have no clue why you would want to so blindly follow one person at this point. Is it his persistence that he is innocent? Maybe he'll say it four or five more times before the day is done. So this repeated proclamation of innocence is amusing? Maybe once, but three times now and it's getting a bit desperate. Perhaps you saw someone else do this somewhere and were so impressed you want to elevate our humor and intellect to their standards. Or maybe you are guilty and feel the need to keep telling us you're not. Or maybe your sense of humor is lame.
  18. Pandufus, will a day end if a majority is reached? Or can a majority conviction be overturned?
  19. I got the same result. Not sure how brickmack didn't. I knew I had seen it. Thought it was here in the US. Kept coming up with "Yukon" and I knew that wasn't right... Reverse image search found it pretty quick.
  20. Flattery will get you everywhere... Where did you want to go? Fitpatrick Williamson is acting suspicious, in my opinion. He has expressed suspicion of me. If nobody else sees either one of us as suspicious, then we'll move on. Just observing and reacting. If he votes for me, so be it. If others join in, I'll do what I can to make the best decision for the Town. I have no solid leads. I have vague suspicions based on ghosts of past lives. My religion believes in Kharma and reincarnation, whatever I am, so I'm not metagaming, just listening to the whispers of the past, which isn't necessarily a good idea. Definitely not strong enough to mention at this point.
  21. There are others worth looking at but I'm getting your vote? You have insulted people. The first person to throw some suspicion your way you said "Good detective work " as if someone being suspicious of you would actually be a result of stupidity. You assume I'm too stupid to understand the assumption in your head about the day length rule when I had a legitimate question and you took it personally for some reason, deciding to continuously answer my concerns as if they were some affront to you. Yes, you are smug and you are finding a lot of people to be suspicious of over nothing. Being suspicious of you is totally legitimate at this point. I don't expect you to agree but as long as we are discussing who to vote for I do believe people should consider that you may not totally be on the level... I'm spamming and out front to look town without being useful? Tell us, oh useful one, how should useful people behave? And I'm a spammer too? OK, everyone no more fun in this game. This is serious business. Fun and jokes annoy the high intellect of Fancypatrick FitzWilliampants or whoever. Whatever. I'm going to go eat my balls.
  22. I think I'm in love! What do I say to her? I should play it cool. But what if she starts looking at other guys? Maybe I should offer to make her some balls. Scorpion balls of course. Sounds weird, though. Maybe I shouldn't say it. Wait...am I talking out loud? Someone didn't read the rules very carefully. Well, the most suspicious behavior I've witnessed is the guy who keeps insulting other people's intelligence and is threatening people with this list he's making. Where are you getting a whole list from based on the short, benign conversations we are having so far, oh one-who-proclaims-his-innocence-the-moment-he-opens-his-mouth? Making accusations is a safe place to avoid the vote from...
  23. But you're adding the word unanimous. I don't see it in there. See the difference? My fear, which my be complete paranoia, is that Is and Ossie will just toss the wrong person in Imhotep's mouth because we've reached a majority (I realize it's not a majority vote, but the question is since the most vote is the lynched one, is a majority vote the end of the day??? Or can we have as much time to overturn it as would be afforded to any day). The difference between what you're interpreting the rule to be and what I'm asking is "What do Is and Ossie consider agreed upon?" Do they mean a majority or do they mean someone has the most votes but the topic has gone stale. What if we're quiet for 24 hours? Do they close it even though there's time left to vote? Or does that majority cinch it for them? I'm asking Is and Ossie for clarification anyway, so thank you for helping me clarify the question, but I hope they can swoop in and clear it up before any of us any each other over the question. I'm not sure how but we need to be careful about that too. Forcing a townie to reveal their Nocturnal Skill could result in them being blocked the entire game and not able to help. So if we choose a townie with a fantastic Nocturnal Skill, they may be doomed either way. We want to keep those skills as much as we want to see voting patterns. People are bound to learn things during the night even if there is no lynch. On the other hand, even if a Nocturnal Skill is revealed, the Cultist blocker will be focused just on one Townie leaving all other Nocturnal Skillers to do their Action freely. I should take a break...
