The Curse of IMHOTEP - Day Two
Hinckley replied to Pandora's topic in LEGO Mafia and Role-Play Games
Oh right. Thank you. Good call. Would the mirror...give the opposite result?? If we're going to look at it logically, the tracker said he saw me targeting def. The opposite would be def targeting me. If that happened, if def targeted me, how would the rest fall in place. He did lie to us for half of the day about the investigation result. He could be lying about not doing anything. And don't, Patrick, please don't say you're beyond suspicion because you're so Pro-Town. I doubt any smart cultist is out to appear Anti-Town. We're just mulling over every possibility. Please don't take it as an insult. How would the odd results implicate anyone? Do the results we have implicate Patrick with any wrongdoing? -

It's still possible I was framed. They've succeeded in one thing. We're stuck verifying a Campie instead of searching for them. -

Then who would have a one-shot action? Not at you. at the liar who told Huge that he has a one-shot Action. Lying liar. Why would you tell a lie like that, megablock cultist? Unless there's an inventor out there. But, with all the claims and the remaining people I'm unsure of, who is Scum then?? Oh... -

A one-shot investigation? Um... Sounds convenient... Do all the Virgins have one-shot investigations? That would explain def targeting me if the mirror cloak showed the opposite of what the tracker's results would have been. I can barely follow the sentence I just wrote. Stupid Mirror Cloak. -
*The sky thought of that on his own, eventually, but still feels kind of dumb. Thanks. * *Diana knits some tea cozies and socks and an aphgan while they wait for the challenge time limit to be up.*

*The smartass voice didn't think of that. *

I know. I'm referencing other people's insistence that we confirm me again. I realize nothing has confirmed me and am OK with being investigated again. I'm just suggesting that we send some action to our other suspicions as well. That response was not directly responding to your quote. It was more to Gordon's plan to focus the investigator on me again. Sorry for the confusion. We may as well investigate me again. It's only night two and it's better to have me confirmed. We have other ways to catch liars. -
There will be pieces missing from every challenge. (But I did kind of miss one. It shouldn't effect the outcome, though.)
-
Absolutely. I'll append the rules above.

*No.* * Don't answer it in the thread, you block of wood! And you don't need physical bricks to find the solution and PM a picture. *
-
*The colors may help you to fully solve the puzzle. The pieces do make one creation, but none of you will be the first to build it. *

The revelation that def's investigator "thought" he investigated me doesn't change your mind at all? Again, do we really need to focus all night actions on me again? Now that def has admitted the investigator "thought" he investigated me, can we move forward by confirming some of these other suspicious people. I don't mind being investigated, I'm just saying we should consider progressing some of our other leads... -
*You don't have time to mess with the statues right now. Why, you don't even have any torches.* *Diana checks the spot where something is shimmering. She sees the old vines there have grown over a number of old LEGO bricks. She doesn't waste any time removing the brick from the vines. (See how the smartass voice is letting things move along more quickly this time?)* Chapter 1 Challenge You have 12 hours to complete this challenge. To participate you must post "Challenge: begin" in this thread when you start trying to build (or figure out) the creation. Post "Challenge: complete" when you are finished. PM the picture to me, do not post it in this thread. If it is incorrect, you won't know until I can respond, so make sure you get your complete time recorded in the thread. Whoever has the fastest time will be declared the winner. You are on the honor code. This method is to be fair to all time zones so do not cheat! If you need to make a correction, it is more difficult to measure that time. Since all of these creations are simple and the instructions are out there , corrections will be counted at 1 second per part moved... The winner will nominate three members of the group, who will then choose two tour group members to receive clues about the murderer. *The swords cannot be removed right now.* *You cannot reach the top of the stairs as there is some rubble in the way.*

*Everyone checks their pockets. They're all fresh out of wats...*

Ossie and Is did give us this warning: But, yes, that statement you quoted is way too clear of an interpretation of that vague warning, much earlier than Patrick's revelation. Good call. As if the Vampire Hunter Snake Charmer claim wasn't cockamamie enough, adding to that Patrick's earlier analysis of statements and voting, I'm willing to be we have our first Cultist. I bet Nadir Zenith is feeling a little silly about defending Freud all evening. -

As small as a snake's chance at curing insanity. I'm going to feel like a real dipshit if she turns up Innocent tomorrow. -

Confusing hard working Townies for a whole day is incredibly helpful. Way to waste everyone's time instead of making it clear that there was verifiably something wrong, yet consistent, with the results of the Actions that focused on me. Sorry I don't see how that really helped anybody. Perhaps you can enlighten me? There must be something I'm missing. You're a real great guy! Sorry Malaena. I really am. -

Thank you. Since it seems things are going that way, for everyone to make as strong a decision as possible. Freud is Denying it when directly asked sure was helpful. -

Usually? When? Where? Well, I'm inclined to believe the mirror story because it happened to me. If I had a snake named Nancy that turned crazy people sane, by all means I would be inclined to believe that. But let's compare the stories real quick. I was protected with a mirrored cloak. And then there's some verifications from the people who targeted me that there was something odd with their results. Vs. "I have an artifact, a live snake in fact, that I charm to bite people and it makes them sane. That means I'm the psychiatrist and I'm going to save everyone from the serial killer." The weird clarifications just kept pouring in and I think he tried to make the role match the "psychiatry" term by claiming the snake's venom makes someone sane. I think it was a desperate attempt to sound legitimate. Gotcha. Good plan. -
*You lack the ability to identify the scent of people's blood. So you haven't discovered anything. Nobody appears to be wounded.* *It would, but they're in the other part of the temple which is blocked off currently* *It's blood.* *They're blocking the stairway.* The group takes another look around the room:

Well, check out what my book that I found in the sand, '>MafiaWiki says about that. When exactly do psychiatrists turn into doctors? Will they protect us with their venomous snake? Why do you keep defending the Freud story?? Why not just get some from the snake. -
*Chris Owen inventories all the feet and finds 28 feet.* *Chris Owen, apparently thinking he is some sort of bloodhound, sniffs the puddle of blood ... ... and then sniffs everybody else to see if he can match the scent. It doesn't yield any results except everyone thinking he is some sort of retard.*

Oh hooray. Freud tells me that he bit Betty Boop with the snake last night. So I ask Betty Boop if there was any indication to being bit by a snake in her morning result and she comes back with "I don't have any night action." So, Betty Boop is overly defensive for no reason, Freud is clearly a liar, and Nadir seems to think the pile of camelshit is on the level. Line up, scumbags... -
*Perhaps some DNA...*
