Harriet the Slut: If you are trying to protect the Town why would you divulge that information so freely knowing how detrimental it would be to the Town? If I'm Scum, I would immediately know you're a Virgin. Betty Boop: The term "morning results" confused me. And so do the rules of the game. The End. My big problem with Betty Boop is her immediate defensive reactions. She's also sloppy enough to just tell me she has no Night Action without me even asking that, immediately revealing her virginity, if she is Town. That's very dangerous in this game. Also, since Malaena Stools used her as part of his Freud ruse, I'm assuming that alone means she's Scum. If Malaena wanted me to believe his megablocks story, he needed to use someone who he knew wouldn't turn out to be a serial killer later. How else could he be sure Betty Boop wasn't the serial killer unless she is also a Cultist? Maybe she already claimed her role to him in private, but that would surprise me as Malaen didn't do much to endear herself to others. The real problem is we can't risk losing claimed Virgins, especially since we don't know how many Virgins they need to kill to win! I'm urging Ossie and Is here to think about the spot we're in and how detrimental it is to our game to not know if we can risk losing a Virgin to test these claims. As it is right now all we can do is try to verify them with Night Actions and this game would then have to last 13 days. Please, oh Wise Ones, let us know the extent of the threat we are up against! I can't reveal Betty Boop to you guys. What if she is telling the truth. Right now, it's the weakest Virgin claim, but that's not enough for me to know what to do with her!! Do we just not lynch? I'm willing to go forward with that plan: no lynching. Let's have the game last 10 weeks because only one person dies a night. Or if we get lucky with our blocker or protector, none! Maybe our vig would kill at some point, but killing a potential Virgin is way too risky! We don't know that his victim wouldn't stumble into the megablocking statue's mouth! Betty Boop: Language... I have about 50 different responses to this. This game concept makes it doubly hard to figure out who to trust. With so many people's information, I need to just shut up and think for a while. Tomato face's response here makes me suspicious of her on one word and convinced she's Innocent on the next. As a Town, we're confused. That's what the Scum want. It's only day three, I suggest everyone re-group, take a look at things and find out what we can move forward with. I'm not going to being any accusations forward until I've really looked at everything and talked to everyone involved. We've got this, I think! As confusing as it is, we're really close. They wouldn't be trying so hard to push us off our track if we weren't really close to nabbing them all. We can do this if we work together...and trust the right people. And therein lies the dichotomy of the game. But we can do it!

That's a pretty heavy accusation to make. From other people's legitimate perspectives, Patrick seemed suspicious. He lied about the investigation result on me for a whole day. Whatever his reasoning, it made some people suspicious. So, finding def more valuable then themselves? Sorry, you're asking people to be sheep. People who are "valuable" should be scrutinized in the early days. You don't sacrifice yourself for someone you don't fully trust yet. This hole in the desert concept has been doubly hard because it takes time to confirm people and in the time we're taking to confirm people, Virgins are dying. How many do they have to sacrifice? How much time do we have? We have to trust people hastily in order to win this race against dead Virgins. That sucks. It's made me so paranoid, because there are so many claims to validate, that I haven't revealed my list to anyone. So, if I die, nobody will know what I know. That's dangerous and this concept is wreckless. Anyway, Gordon, how townie have you been? You are (metagame-ish) uncharacteristically not helpful. Oh, I should talk to them in private! I hadn't thought of that. Thanks. Who is this investigator that Patrick was talking to? If Gordon's plan was to verify me and have me investigated again... Why did Gordon insist on me being investigated two days in a row? Percy was suspicious of that too. I understand why he needed it the second day, but he was suspiciously vocal about "Mehmet needs to be investigated." I would assume if I was to be investigated, without that mirror cloak on me, that I would come up Innocent. If the investigator targeted me and found me innocent they should probably contact me. Did they find me a Cultist again? Well then, tell someone. Please! Ask them to report it to you. We need to get to the bottom of this. Why would the tracker's results say "You think you targeted Hinckley and they targeted def." Did the investigator get "You think you target Hinckley and they are a Cultist?" We need this information from the investigator. If you are the investigator and you do not trust me, please find someone you do trust to report these findings either to me or publicly. Or was this investigator a crock of shit?

So... First of all, Thanks Tomato-Face for calmly explaining by PM where I had gone wrong in my thinking. That shows quite a growth in strategy even just from your first reaction to my accusation to the conversation we just had. So, again, good job. Here's what I just learned. 1. I'm an idiot. 2. While Tammo could still be a Cultist, I misread the PM from Papa Smurf and he was actually willing to protect her before she asked. There's a really good reason for this. This Bam-Bam that the three of us have been suspicious of could possibly know that Tammo is a Virgin and it would make sense to protect her considering some of the conversations that have happened in private. Or they'll all Scum and I'm an idiot. 3. Tomato-Face also pointed out a flaw in my argument that I can't explain because of the game's concept. Even if I wrote a play to explain it, it could give someone away. It's a really weird nuance, but she's right and she was smart for picking it up. 4. After being sick for 5 days and not being able to think, my brain is on overdrive and I may be thinking too much. I spent all night reading over PMs and latched onto something that is possibly not at all what I first thought. I should've rested my eyes and taken a good look before going off half-cocked. This doesn't mean Sheila isn't Scum, but my case isn't as strong as I originally thought and she deserves to be investigated and cleared. We can't risk voting her out. There's something valid about our private conversation. I hope I can explain it tomorrow, but for now, please trust me and I'll try to think before I make my next accusation. I really have that sinking feeling in my stomach right now. I felt like we had learned so much, but that's two possibly false accusations in a row. I'm going to bed before I accuse somebody else. There's way too much activity around people asking to have def's protection removed last night. It's a little mini-storm of Scuminess that is painfully obvious.

I think I found something about our friend Tammy Tomato-Face. Let me do this right. Sheila Suxsumb (Tamamono) was, first of all, the person who Papa Smurf switched his protection to last night. I asked why and he said she claimed she was also a Virgin and she was afraid the Cultists had learned it. Furthermore, part of Papa Smurf's suspicion about Patrick was due to a conversation he had with Sheila. I thought this was really odd that Sheila would think she needed more protection than Patrick, who had claimed publicly he was a Virgin. Why would an un-claimed, under-the-radar Virgin need protection over Patrick. I'm confused about that. Then I went back over all of my conversations and found an error. Sheila Suxsumb claimed to me at the end of the first day before the win conditions were posted. She had deciphered the Easter Egg I had left was the color of the word Virgin. Well, she must have tried a little too hard to find the Easter Egg and then actually typed the word in this color not this color. So, considering everyone's suspicion of her from earlier, her behavior in private is even more suspicious. If anyone is on Malaena and Nancy the Snake's team, it has to be Sheila Suxsumb. I feel pretty confident about this. It's the only oddity I can find from the private interactions in the last couple of days.

My poker was buried under sand, so keep your accusations to yourself. Why can't that many people be cultists? 24 people in the hole. 6 cultists is reasonable. Suspecting 5 more people after lynching one Scum is reasonable.

Listen Tammy Tomato-Face. Your agreeing so much and following all my posts is a great place to hide. I'm trying to place the people I don't know about and our private conversations haven't been convincing. I still say defending Freud is safe because if you knew it was Malaena, it was a chance to defend her without actually defending her while your vote was placed on someone else. I suspect them less now that you mention them since we're still not sure of you. It was odd to me how many people asked me to find protection for you last night when you weren't even verified and still highly suspicious. However, let me play along for a bit. William is usually hard to read and typically quiet, so there's really no telling. I agree he's one to watch. Johnson Cox is good at summarizing and then being very calming, logical and re-assuring by PM. She's more likely to talk about the prospect of being in a hole in the desert than she is about anything pertaining to this particular hole in the desert. It's a smart strategy, but having nothing to offer may means she has something to hide. Same goes for William. Also, there's that one they call Brickdoctor because I can't remember his other name. He is good at summarizing and saying "I'll look over the last day" but never coming back with any findings from all of that "looking over." Plus, he tried to hammer Big Butthole by pointing out his rule breech. Plus, he's been rather twitchy and defensive in private. I'm used to him being a little more...questiony and posty.
