  1. So Katie does claim to not have a lunch, as Daisy pointed out. I don't see Katie in the list of players and what they chose though. I didn't have a lunch either, but my role PM mentions why I don't have it. Why don't you have yours, Katey? Katie chose steak. The Scum should've been able to compare that they had lunches and prepared for this. Maybe the Scum doesn't get lunch. That would make it easy to tell who was Scum on Day One. Anyone surprised by the lunch concept would be a good candidate for scrutiny. I'll start as I fall in that category. When Daisy first mentioned lunch to me in private I didn't respond. It was at the same time the barn burned down and I helped put it back together, so I forgot about it. I was distracted by other things as the conversation went to lunch in thread. Eventually I returned to my role PM and found the mention of lunch. I was told I forgot mine and why. I concentrated more on the result of forgetting my lunch and discarded the rest of the info until I looked back. Absent-minded, I know, but not unlike Fred not realizing his lunch had a name. I was immersed in vomit-inducing cookie experiment nonsense and re-building the barn (Hedgehogs are notorious for being good carpenters). Actually, it was the site crash and putting the post back together. Fence posts. Point is, if everyone has lunch, I would imagine Katey would know not to claim to not know about lunch on the first day unless she's Scum and thinks the thief Action was given to her because she's Scum...
  2. You're so scaring me in this dream of Matilda's.
  3. Someone's coming in to me in private forcing me to write a play. Apologies to Fred and Shadell who hate these: The Mysterious Case of the Great Gonzo Scene 1 Gonzo the Great: You slipped up! You're usually more careful. You said "The killer has her own brain!" You know more about the killer than you're letting on! I'm surprised you would let that slip through. Oscar the non-Grouch: And if I do? I don't need to let you know anything. Are you officially prying? You want the identity of the killer? Why? Gonzo the Great: Oh, golly gee, no. I don't want to know the identity of the killer. I just want to know who to trust. Eventually, it would be beneficial to know her identity... (Oscar lights the cannon that Gonzo has been sitting in and blasts Gonzo into the haybales) Gonzo the Great: Wahzeeeeeee! My question, which I haven't received an answer to yet is "Why do you need to know if I know who the killer is or not in order to trust me?" Tammy, calm down. We have plenty of time. I think the people voting for others are giving us all a chance to continue the day for discovery. If we all vote for Walter (his disappearance and lack of defense are increasingly damning) the day will be over giving fewer people the opportunity to use their lunch and giving us all less time to find clues to other people's affiliation.
  4. http://wiki.mafiascum.net/index.php?title=Jailkeeper According to that link, it's more likely to be a Town role. Do you recall Matilda's dream called Mafia School: Police Infiltration? This is metagamey, but Katey was a leader and had a deep analysis of the events transpiring and leading the Town, the Scum took her out on Night One. Or two... I don't remember. But it was a very different dream. It's metagaming, I know. But even without that knowledge, the confusion act is a bit overkill.
  5. Walter has (perhaps cleverly) stated that he didn't go out last night. That could be interpreted as he has an Action or doesn't. If anyone used their lunch on him last night, letting someone you trust know would be helpful. Hopefully the lunch that shared the object.
  6. Just for fun, let's go through Walter's list of suspicions he sent to me in private. I told him his usual analytical self was missing so he provided me some in-depth analysis. Sorry to pester you this way, Walter. I know you've been extremely busy and being picked apart like this while trying to focus on real life things is super annoying, I know, but Wild West printed horses are dead, and so are Zara and Jane, although we didn't know them very well, they were quiet, everyone must pay a little price for answers: Sara Heather Danking Horsey-Face (can't remember his name) He thinks there's Scum amongst the lurkers.
  7. Sorry. I fixed it. Oh shit, I fixed it! Oh well, I'd rather get a penalty vote than let the n00bs flail around confused and not following along.
  8. The jailkeeper themselves. He/she first told me they blocked Walter because he/she found him to be the most suspicious. He/she wanted Walter blocked and therefore used the jailkeeper on him. He/she was being cautious while revealing his/her info and didn't tell me until later that the actual Action was jailkeeper. At first he/she asked me to keep the jailkeeper part quiet because it gave Walter an easy out. However, we both discussed it and decided it was best to reveal it was a jailkeeper. I felt much better about this as I think the honest answer is the best answer and would've told everyone either way. This person even took quite some time to admit he/she was the jailkeeper themselves but I kind of guessed it when they said they trusted the person 100%. If they trusted another player 100%, there'd be big problems... Why? Matilda had a dream called Police Infiltration and you were brilliant in it. A wise fatass once told me (I think it was the fatty, if not sorry to insult the actual person who said this) anyone who proclaims confusing pings my Scumdar. Ping Katie, ping. How can anybody have no idea at this point? You have no thoughts about anything? Someone as smart as you has no idea what to add to the conversations. Is everyone just acting weird on purpose? I'm confused, I'm confused, I'm confused. We get it. I just don't believe it. You can't have ever believed the police would come after you because of something he said. He's roleplaying. I'm the only one "verified" but is the investigator verified? Verifications only go as far as you can really trust everyone involved and you shouldn't be over-reliant on Night Actions. But, you should know this. If it didn't happen in Matilda's Mafia School Police Infiltration dream, it's all been clearly spelled out here. If you're reading it like you say you are, you should be able to follow what happened. But other people have seemed confused, although you seem like you're acting, I will spell it out in detail right now: Daisy watched (with her lunch) me (Oscar) Daisy saw that Fozzie Bear targeted me (Oscar) Fozzie Bear claims to have a plethora of one-shots (known as a Jack-of-all-Trades) with which he investigated me with and got the result of "Town". Separately, Fred and Amy both used their "flavor cop" lunches on Daisy and were told he had a pair of glasses with no lenses. This seems to indicate his used Watcher lunch. A jailkeeper has claimed to me to have targeted Walter, who was therefore blocked and protected last night. Thanks a lot, no I'm summarizing. I'm Scum by my own logic, gee, great. We're not writing these things out in puzzles. Your confusion seems like an overdramatic act. Was Walter accused? He was, I think. Am I right? What's an accusation? Laying it on real thick. I'm so confused I can't even tell what's happening. I can't be Scum. I'm too confused. You're confused but you came up with your own interesting theory, anyhow? Are you saying the Scum are trying to appear like Townie killers so they...what? So we think the kill happens at night and it was Walter? I suppose that is possible. They're trying to appear like the vig so we continue to blame Walter. Yes, possible. But, I just doubt the Scum would go with that gambit. Is there a day Watcher? Maybe they should watch Sara tomorrow if there is. I know of one Day Action and there's a good reason for it to be a Day Action and it's a one-shot. Why are you so confused by everything but trying to make the day killer look Scummy comes easy to you. Ping, Katey, ping ping! Please clarify. Do you still suspect Daisy? Your reasons don't mention that at all so I'm just curious. I see you want it to be clear you want Walter to be lynched, but the rest is just testing God? I didn't see the circumstances but I thought it had to do with your vote formatting. Could you just kick a pigeon to God to clarify instead of testing her?
  9. It turns out Walter was blocked by a jailkeeper...so he was blocked and protected.
  10. Again I'm nitpicking the details here, but I don't see how you would classify that as a conflict between me and Fred. The rest of your private analysis is lacking concrete facts as well. Are you skimming or actually reading everything? You seem rather disengaged.
  11. Walter has brought me his findings in private. They start with pointing out how the conflict between me and Fred is distracting... That's not a good start. Walter, where have Fred and I been quarreling exactly? How is that one of the main distractions muddying up the day threads?
  12. We'd love to see it anyway!
  13. Walter promised me some engaging analysis by the end of today (real time today). I'm sad to say I haven't heard anything from him.
  14. I missed that. Dog beer? Does it cure oinking? I'm a hedgehog, it's just something I do. I run through the hedge and oink.
  15. Let's put Amy (iamded) and Bull Dyke Sara (The Boy Wonder) on watch as well. Amy is eternally summarizing and saying useless things like "Gosh, I wonder what this person's case is. It'll be interesting." Her response will probably be " Oh you. I'm not Scum. I'm just having fun and watching out for horse apples. La di loo, lee de dee." And then she'll disappear. Sara, you're one of those who isn't paying attention and shaping up to be like those kiddies in Matilda's dream called Excalibur 2.0, just lining up to be lynched and keep the Town from killing the actual Scum. Your insistence that Walter must be the Scum killer since he was blocked, with no other evidence backing that up, seems incredibly Scummy. Or ill-advised. Pay attention, make sense please. If you're Town we don't want to waste a lynch on you. Although maybe the barn rats will eat you tomorrow, if we're lucky. That's clever. But there is not scum board, read the rules. You should know that, Scum. Oink Oink. Sorry about the oinking. I'm a hedgehog. Thanks for responding to all my points. My trust list is also blank but I found a note: Where's the kissies and the love?
  16. I felt the same way when Trisha seemed to be coached by Fred, but I think he would've tried to coach her in private. Unless he's Scum and he realized that Town has lunch too, and was trying to get someone to trust him and hopefully form a Town block. I think this is putting himself way out there on Day One, but WIFOM, etc. I don't think meatshield is the right term since we know her affiliation now. That's just being nitpicky. Sorry, I'm looking at every word you're saying and analyzing it. You're a good player that I don't want to be duped by. Speaking of dissecting your words, it seems like you spliced two thoughts together that don't belong. You brushed it off as her being a n00b, but then today a situation got heated and then cooled off. How do these two things correlate? You brushed the situation aside and thought Trisha was a n00b, but kept your vote on her? Or you brushed it off as her being a n00b Scum that Fred was cutting loose and therefore kept your vote on her? There's a step missing between the two thoughts. What did you think when Trisha came up as a Townie? I don't think things are fine between Fred and Daisy. I think they've had enough influence to focus on facts, not feelings. However, Fred is still throwing suspicions at her like not claiming before the detector was proven false, which it can be said that she did, although not fully and not the way he wanted her to. There's still tension there. Are you and your Scum team just disappointed that it quieted down and stopped providing distractions to confuse the Town? My suspicions of you aside (which more than Lady Dolores have told me I'm being too nice instead of looking at your behavior...so now I obviously am. ) I really did feel that Fred was feeding Trisha too much yesterday. It seems like a tactic a Scummy pig-herder used in one of Matilda's dreams called Ragnarok Now. Or a Scummy cat in the dream preceding that dream of Matilda's called The Forest II. Fred seems to be working hard to get the Town to work together. He did try to keep the lunch thing from the Scum, although he did postulate the whole time the Scum would know anyway. Any activity revolving around lunch doesn't clear people as Town though. At this point, we know everyone probably has it, so of course the Scum would try to use it to curry favor with the Town. Would they be the first to do so or should we look at those who didn't mention lunch until Daisy theorized that everyone has it? Anyway, while I don't think they are to be 100% trusted, I'm leaning towards trusting both Daisy and Fred right now. I think there are better cases for us to scrutinize in the mean time and find out what others have been up to. Keep an eye on them sure, but unless I see evidence to the contrary, I don't think they're good lynch candidates. It has come to my attention that Wild Dragon needed to be neutered but since we killed our vet, he had to go out of town to be neutered. He must have forgot to tell us. I'm sure he told the rest of his Scum team. He must not think we're as important as his Scum buddies. For now I will unvote: Wild Dragon (Dragonator) but I don't like that we've heard nothing from him of any substance. Walter promised me some feedback tonight, so I'll wait to hear what he has to say. In the mean time, I'll vote for my favorite candidate for Scum right now. Vote: Jimmy (JimButcher) The day lasts as long as we're voting and talking about the best lynch candidate so let's keep things going here by thoroughly discussing the three candidates' names I've heard tossed about behind closed doors: Walter (WaterbrickDown) Jimmy (JimButcher) Mike (Bob)
  17. What's still bugging you about Daisy and Fred? Vote: Wild Dragon (Dragonator) I don't like sitting around waiting for him to grace us with his presence. No posting, no voting, I don't care to guess about him.
  18. I'm not backing off of it. Several people agreed that Jane was a good target. So, after everything that's been said today, your contribution is about my last post and the vig killing Jane? No other opinion on any other name mentioned? No, that's not Scummy...
  19. Makes me a bit worried too. Just because I'm running my mouth the most doesn't mean the killer is following me. Several people agreed that Jane was a great target. I'm sure the killer has her own brain. If he or she was listening to just me, they probably would've gone after you. Sorry to say...
  20. I can't follow your logic here. It worries me that you're so convinced just because it "seems right". How? Why?
  21. Lady Dolores is a ghost. She isn't playing. If Walter was watched, we would've seen who targeted him. Don't infer things, please. She's real!!!! Oh for... Heather called me a liar because I said earlier I ate both of my lunches. We can only eat one lunch a day. I had sent my PM in asking to eat both lunches when I said that. After I posted that, God came to me and said we can only eat one lunch a day, especially us little hedgehogs who have tiny stomachs. I'm a bit disappointed. I was hoping something elaborate had happened and someone had actually lied to her about me and we would've caught someone red-handed. It turns out the Scum in this game are not that bold. They are snivelly scared wimpies hiding in the Shadows. Afraid to fight a hedgehog? Come out and fight! I'll chew right through your Achille's tendon! Wimpy Scum! Apparently Heather was joking with me anyway. Hedgehogs are notorious for taking Mafia very seriously.
  22. I would bet that's just storytelling. It hasn't even been 24 hours. Some dragons haven't even posted at all.
  23. The hay had a chain attached to it, the chickens...ate a person. I've been on this farm a long time. I'm sure those chickens have never attacked a human before. Someone is controlling this. They booby trapped the hay and poured something on Jane to make the chickens crave her flesh. Duh.
  24. Um...it appears we have a day killer...who follows the advice of hedgehogs...
