  1. The joke was the difference between your and you're. Your complacent is the possessive. It means I have a complacent as Fred pointed out. You meant "You are complacent" and that would be "You're complacent." Behind the scenes, people know that I'm far from complacent. I'm freaking out trying to get everyone that I can covered. We have a solid result on you. If it turns out you've been...action framed... I will not be complacent in finding out who was behind it. However, I seriously doubt that will be the case.
  2. Vote: Sara (BoyWonder) I am confident this should be the end of our game...of life. What's this? A note: She's creeping me out.
  3. I stopped looking for meaning in the day titles when I saw the words "Flagpole Sitta".
  4. Yes. I'd like to put all the Actions together so everybody can see what happened every night. That'll take a little time and I've got important hedgehog business to attend to. Eating lettuce and whatnot. Once I'm done with that, I'll put it together and then obsess over it and get paranoid and think 1000 times how it may hinder us or that I'd be saying too much, etc. then eventually post it. Still waiting to hear back. Hopefully by the time my lettuce is down, we'll have an idea of what this person is saying who was caught targeting the other person () and I can probably just give you the name at that point and we'll lynch them. I can't see there being a good reason.
  5. Announcing the prize pool for the third annual Expand the Winter Village Contest III! Click here to check out the exciting prizes that will be awarded! Reminder! Contest ends January 30th! As we enter the holiday season yet again, thoughts turn to fun and winter activities and where better to enjoy those than in your own Winter Village? So far, TLG has provided us with four places to visit, a lovely Winter Toy Shop, an equally inviting Winter Bakery, and elaborate and playful Post Office set and this year's new Cottage, but wouldn't it be nice to have an even larger Winter Village full of festive fun? 6. You worthless piece of...I sure do! Why don't you just lay on your lazy megablocks and eat apples all day? So, the good news is that everybody is Town. We have every player now verified one way or another. Ready for this? Fred - verified by Sara, found an item that verifies his claim. Sara - verified by Bunsen's investigation Billie - verified by the Hider Katie - investigate by me, confirmed by Night Action results Patty - confirmed by Katie and Cece found an item that verifies her claim. Cece - confirmed by Bunsen and Rowlf Amy - verified by Bunsen, confirmed by Night Action results Wild Dragon - verified by Beeker, confirmed by Night Action results Dansmith - verified by Beeker, confirmed by Night Action results Me - verified by Rowlf, Bunsen and twice by Beeker now Jimmy - confirmed by Night Action results Dave - verified by Bunsen That's everybody. Jimmy and Fred have never been technically investigated but they've been verified by other means. It appears to me that we've "cleared" a Godfather. The good news there is that there is no other Scum then and we have just the one left to deal with. So, paranoid as I can be, I felt the need to verify Rowlf (or is it Fozzie?) the damn jailkeeper . I wanted to verify Rowlf last night as we were tying up all the other loose ends so we had Fozzie (the JOAT) watch the person Rowlf was targeting (who is my favorite suspect, by the way) and saw Rowlf doing exactly what he said he'd be doing but also saw someone else targeting this person. So, we're looking into it. Previously, this person claimed to have no Action, so we'll see what happens. We're waiting to hear back from this person about why they were seen in a Watcher result... A lot of the Town Muppets are concerned about the possibility of a Cult, still. I don't think we're up against that. Just the fact that we've seen the "Founder" specifically lynched makes me think that he was never able to successfully convert. The most likely candidates for being Cult members have been confirmed and have worked hard for the Town. It seems that our God is following the Scriptures pretty closely and a Cult is done when it's leader is killed. I highly doubt there would be more after the "Founder" has been removed. It is typical for the Town to come up with crazy theories after a couple of bad lynches, but let's not lose track. We dropped four Scum in a row and even though it's awful that we lost four Townies after that, we rid ourselves of suspicious characters who could possibly get in the way of us finding the real Scum. I really think this will be our last Scum. There's only one reason I could think of someone trying to target this person and it would be to kill them. They make a very good kill target. Luckily, the person was under scrutiny and targeted by the jailkeeper. While we thought we were blocking the last killer, we may have inadvertently protected the last killer's target. Anyway, I'm exhausted. As soon as we hear back from this person, I'll report the results or their name for a lynch.
  7. We also had a very likely kill target protected last night. We're waiting on a result from Bunsen to help verify what last night's results could mean.
  8. So, we have two people blocked last night and a kill did not occur. We're waiting on verification on Bunsen from the most likely of the two suspects.
  9. Sorry, Mike! OK, kids. I'm waiting on Night Action results to come in to piece together what we know. The night should have produced some results.
  10. Best of luck, dude. Let us know when you find a better place. We'll all follow you there, I'm sure.
  11. What I said, Mike, was the pretty much everyone is cleared but you. If you're not Scum, I'm worried there's a very clever mole in our group and I have an idea where to look for that. If the Cult is still around, I think I would know who those perpetrators are as well. I'm really hoping you are the last Scum, though. Until we see otherwise, I don't want to start poking people that are verified. Some people have been verified by the hider and investigator while we have a couple that are just verified by the Actions they've claimed. Also, there's an unverified person who has slipped under the radar... my gears just started turning a little bit.
  12. Bunsen says that Sara is Town. Vote: Mike (Bob). If you're Town, thanks for the lunch and I'm sorry. Thanks for contributing to removing the most suspicious members of our group. If you're Scum, nice work, but burn in hell.
  13. No, of course not. I'm just being a busy-body. Hedgehogs have a habit of being control freaks in situations like this.
  14. I know I said we shouldn't rely so much on our Actions, but we are waiting on Bunsen to clear one of these two. Shouldn't we wait to vote until we've heard from him?
  15. Bunsen should help us through the day. I've asked him to investigate either Mike or Sara. However, we could have him check Katie, just to be sure she wasn't tailored when I investigated her? OK, maybe I have tunnel vision on Katie. You're just weird, Katie! Sorry.
  16. For the record, I trust Billie. And obviously that has changed since first thing this morning. If I had been thinking (which clearly I wasn't as I outed our protector ) I should've known as soon as the day started that Billie was confirmed Town.
  17. Billie, I should've contacted you by PM to update you. I've been very busy with the hedghehog family visiting for hedgehog Christmas. I'm still on extended holiday so my organization skills got a little sloppy yesterday. Katie did come back to me, but it took some time. Here's what I know. 1. Heather (fhomess) had an Action. It was not the jailkeeper as I've previously said. I said that to protect the real jailkeeper. There, I lied. But I don't think this should be a case of lynch all liars. I did it to protect our jailkeeper. 2. Why reveal it now? Because I believe it's possible Katie inherited Heather's role. At least that's the story I'm getting. Katie claims to have been given the tracker role after Heather died and targeted me with it on Night Four. 3. Also, on Night Four, I used the glass given to me by the Inventor on Katie and got a result of Town. 4. As those who were in the group conversation with Daisy about the siblings, it would be really surprising if Katie and Daisy were on the same team. Although, stranger things have happened. All of that considered, makes me think that Katie is a bad target for a lynch. We would lose a sibling along with her and we're seeing evidence that she is Town. Heather never told me what her role was but she did basically "threaten" Daisy with it, saying that she had a way to tell if someone was lying about their Action being their lunch or not. That could've been achieved with the tracker Action. So, the story, as odd as it's delivered and as often as Katie disappears after reading something (that's all metagaming) it seems to scan. Now it's all on the table for people to see if I'm missing some glaring Scum-tell. Overall, we're in a great position as Town. There can only be one or two Scum left and we've seen them kill the last few nights so we know there haven't been any conversions. It's 11 against 2 or 12 against 1, so we can take the time to remove all of the suspicious from our list without being absolutely certain. Yes, this may take some time, but we're shooting fish in a barrel now... Good position to be in. It would take six more days for the Scum to win and a lot of stupid mistakes on our part. We've done the ground work. We know what's going on. There's a very strong Town block behind the scenes. The remaining Scum have to be one or two of just a handful of people we all suspect... Sorry. We cross-posted. Yes, I spilled your role. But, people were asking about you behind the scenes and starting to come after you in the day thread as well. It's best to have this on the table. That way everyone can see the reasoning behind why you were so high on the suspect list at first and now should be taken off of it...or at least moved lower. Something still bugs me about your earlier behavior in the game and tracker can be a convenient claim. Scum are often given a tracker, actually. So, it's not about your role that I revealed it, it's about you being the one claiming it. Now there's nowhere for you to hide if you are Scum.
  18. That'll take some time to figure out how exactly to say it. There's only a couple people unconfirmed at this point. Mike is the most likely suspect. Sorry, Mike. I know you gave me your lunch and the investigation on you came back showing no object, so you didn't likely have an Action. But, we don't have you confirmed at this point. I still have a huge problem with Katie and so do others, but it looks like enough Actions have focused on her in the last two nights to clear her. More on her later. I'm waiting for confirmation on something that should end the Katie controversy once and for all...one way or another. Billie and Sara have been confirmed more by their actions than Night Actions. Both were helpful with their lunches, which would be a smart Scum move. I'll have to look back through communications with others to come up with more suspects, but for now, that's all we have to work on. I'll let you know as soon as something starts piecing together...
  19. There is the possibility of the Cult Leader having a backup. Some of our Town roles have had backups. Two that I know of. So maybe the...unblockable...unhideable-from...un-killable...Cult Leader...had a backup...so there'd be two unblockable...cult leaders...to fight. OK, that's unlikely. But, stranger things have happened. Now that we know (or can say with some degree of certainty) that Shadell was the Cult Leader, we have to assume that he wasn't able to convert anyone. At first, when I say the gray, I was afraid that maybe he was taking the lynch to protect the real Cult Leader, but Scouty says in the comic that Shadell was the "Founder". I take that to mean that he was the Cult Leader himself. Please, God, tell me there aren't different Cult ranks, one being founder, which is different from Leader... ... is it a democratic cult? Are they electing a new leader every night? I really hope that's not the case. No, we have to assume that it wouldn't be setup that way. If there was another faction around, I think we would've seen some evidence of it by now. I say we take the advice of Julia and focus on the horse killers. I think that's why she said it. The Cult died with Shadell and should no longer be our concern...
  20. I agree with the sentiment of putting all the cards on the table. With this many people left, there's only a matter of time until we weed out the last one or two Scum. Now that I see there weren't two kills last night ( sorry...) and that Shadows was some sort of "group founder" aka Cult Leader (Why, God, why??) I think that being up against more than five Scum would be unfair, so I think there's only one left. Not to mention, Daisy was able to correctly guess a few of the roles, that she mentioned to me anyway. I let one slip, that was Beeker. I just outed Patty, sorry , so we may as well put all of our cards on the table. That will hold everyone accountable. We've confirmed a number of people, but I'm beginning to think a Godfather slipped through the investigation cracks, so it'd be nice to see everyone's balls on the table, although we're mostly female... That way, everyone's accountable for what they say as compared to what other will be able to see they're doing when we get Night Action results in and info from Day openers. If everyone agrees to this, they can just start spilling their roles and Night Actions targets. I'll just sit back and let you know if anyone is giving inconsistent info.
  21. Oh Jesus... Who the hell is Penny? I can't keep these names straight. Who the megabluck was killed? Oh God, Penny and we did that. It's late here, I'm watching hedgehog porn and it took forever for the day to start. I should've just gone to sleep first. Sorry. Um...Sorry. I'm really sorry... At least there weren't two Scum kills after all. Someone shoot me.
  22. OK, so let's take inventory here. The Town just had the requisite "Phone it in" Day Five and we wake up to a mess. Let's take inventory: 1. Shadell was a neutral, the "Founder" of some sort of group. At least that means we won't have to deal with them any more. If there was any truth to what Shadell said, then she was the Cult Leader. Since we saw no suicides, it stands to reason she wasn't able to convert anyone. Why the gambit then? Frustrated with something? Caught by Beeker and Bunsen and needing to reveal too much? I would imagine this to be the case. Shadell fails to convert because Beeker is hiding, then gets wrapped up in the investigation of Matilda and sees an opportunity to win favor with the Town. Not sure why she wouldn't have converted on Night Two. Perhaps she targeted a non-convertible target.... 2. Our Protector, Patty, was killed. We just found out yesterday that she was our protector and now she is gone. 3. Our Day Vig is also dead. Carl was the Day Vig. And yes, Daisy did guess this in our conversations. So, if Shadell was indeed a neutral, then it's possible there would be two Scum-bags left, but who? Our Night Action results from Night Four may require additional analysis. Recently, in Matilda dreams, we've seen the Town rely too much on Night Action results. We need to be smart now, engage ourselves and figure out who is lying to us. There were two murders last night. I was assuming there was only one Scum left, but now that we know Shadell was neutral and there were two murders, it's possible there are two Scumbags left. Let's just be thankful the "Founder" of whatever group Shadell was leading is gone and we can focus on the horse killers.
  23. I will echo Danny's sentiment that Katie is probably Town. I have used a glass that the inventor gave me to investigate her and she was seen as Town. Her behavior bugged me a lot during the first few days and she did seem the absolute Scummiest to me. But as Dansmith can attest, Katie was repeatedly attacked and accused by Daisy in private and possibly even setup to try to get the Town to kill the siblings. Something else in the Night Action results leads me to believe that Katie has been working with us all along just frustratingly hindered by a language barrier. She told us all along Daisy was Scum and I'm sorry it took such arguing to finally prove it. I'm going to Vote : Penny (VolcanicPanik). I think the "I'm not paying attention" card she's playing is ridiculous. How can you be playing this game and not know I'm using aliases? If you are Town, we don't need dead weight around, so as cruel as this sounds, good riddance to you either way. Sorry. I think the janitor Action is temporary. We are likely to see Shadell's alignment tomorrow. I think we all know, at this point, that she was Scum...
  24. I've only gone over it a few dozen times so forgive me for not repeating what you can go back and read. Acting lazy would be a pretty good Scum tactic at this point.
