Not very good?! I love it What piece(s) did you use for the head/visor? I dont recognize it. This also makes me wonder when TLC comes with an official version.

Someone has been reading old posts and bumped this thread. Very difficult to say.. always in motion the future is I'm a SW fan and if it has that feeling than I like it - one set that does leave me cold is the Rogue Shadow, sorry If I was forced to choose than it would be OT. But NT and CW are fine too.

mmm a few thoughts: - a set with Hoth-Luke and Wampa (and cave); - a Rancor (roarrrr) with Malakili; - Tree-home of the ewoks; would love to see those.

I think it will be released soon, about the same time the Death Star was released last year. That could also mean it might be available in September. My thoughts were the same.

Venator-Class Attack Cruiser vs Imperial Star Destroyer
Future74 replied to Teddy's topic in LEGO Star Wars
I agree, but there is the other thing: if you take a look at the exterior it's obvious they used larger pieces on the Imperial Star Destroyer. Again I agree, the price of the Venator is (almost) the same as the ISD was. In Euro's that is. I got my ISD about two years ago. Looking forward to building it. It hasnt got the rough edges the ISD has and it looks more solid, which adds to the swoosh factor. Be glad your counterpart is also a SW fan I have to argue to keep some space for the collection, not even talking about spending money on it -
Venator-Class Attack Cruiser vs Imperial Star Destroyer
Future74 replied to Teddy's topic in LEGO Star Wars
Thanks Teddy, nice comparison It sure is smaller. -
What? My best guess is the RBR will be revealed next. After that the "clouded" set. I'm glad a lot of OT sets came out and I definitly do not mind CW sets. They're all star wars and that shows and that's most important.

Thanks Bricks, a very nice review, worth the wait. I'll have to enjoy the reviews untill my sets arrive.

Yes, I think this could be a remake/upgrade of the old cloud city set; which I wouldnt mind since I missed out on that. Or they could pick just one of the many scenes from this set. Any news on the Tantive IV?! So looking forward to that one

Great pictures again! I like the red spotlight on Vader! But I kinda miss the cape... he feels so naked. and.. and.. and the new printed Vader is better looking. No more comments though

Great entry, love it! I'm not really into other themes than SW, but this is a little masterpiece.

Thanks for the great review I like the comparison between the models. You're not alone Skipper 24. I like it too... Ok the minifigure selection is poor with ahsoka and anakin and yes it's a bit pricy for what you get in comparison to other sets, but it's still a nice set. Although I would understand if people will buy other sets before this. Will vote average if a poll is added.

Very nice Looking forward to the B-wing pictures!

I'm not saying you're wrong but since the Clone Wars take place between episode II and III, all CW sets that come out can be considered from the same era. The difference will be in the minifigures, that really decides whether it's CW (from the animated series The Clone Wars). For instance the AT-OT and Dropship is really a episode II/III set. If Count Dooku's Solar Sailer would not have included a CW Dooku it would classify as episode II. I'm just saying there is a thin line.

Custom Black sandtrooper pauldron
Future74 replied to General Armendariz's topic in Minifig Customisation Workshop
Just tried that... and look what happened. I dont think burning will work, it will damage the pauldron. Or your house.... -
You're forgiven But it better be one awesome review...

Thumbs up for that hat Front. And a very nice picture as well, could be one of Smokebelch I think more sets should have "alien" SW figures. That's why I look forward to the Battle of Endor and the Home One Mon Calamari Star Cruiser set. We've had to wait long time for Nute Gunray, and getting Onaconda Farr is a double +. Keep them coming TLC.

Bricks?! I'm very interested in this set, but IlikePi is right you're keeping us in the dark here... In my opinion reviews shouldnt be WIP. Gives me a feeling that someone just wants to be the first to post it. If it's a massive build I would understand why it's posted in parts, like for instance the Battle of Endor set.

[Review] 7748 Corporate Alliance Tank Droid
Future74 replied to Navy Trooper Fenson's topic in LEGO Star Wars
Great review Very well spotted. We would think TLC would use standard box sizes when there's so little diffrence. I think putting the leverage part a bit further towards the place where you press it, could improve this. mmm I see a modded version coming up... Well adjusted, this looks much better! Hahaha Homer Simpson: "mmm Jango!" I hope it wont be another remake of the Slave I... sorry for those who havent got one. O no, you should have kept one. ...or sold one to me -
Thanks for the great review, I really enjoyed it Hahaha you're so right, very funny

Great review and a great set! I love the tauntaun. And to anyone who thinks this set is too expensive, try getting 2 snowtroopers, 2 rebeltroopers and a tauntaun via Bricklink Wonder how long you're gonna keep that promise

It's huge! Well done, it looks exactly like the picture on Wookieepedia A well deserved front page.

Very well designed, I love it
