Show Your Army, Navy, and Collection Display
Future74 replied to BillytheKid's topic in LEGO Star Wars
Very nice indeed brickfanatic! But this display doesnt protect the minifigures from dust or sunlight, so I would put it inside a glass case or something. I'll update my display (feb 14 '09) soon because I need to move it. I lost arguments with the wife and need to empty the closet where I keep my collection in... but not without making a great compromise! I've gotten alternative space on the attic, in the shape of three new cupboards. -
What Sets Have You Gotten For The Actual Set/Vehicle
Future74 replied to AoNZ's topic in LEGO Star Wars
Almost every set that I've got I bought for the set and not just for the minifigures, except of course for the battlepacks and magnet sets. (Real) exceptions: - Dessert skiff (was a gift, but would have been one...) - Naboo Swamp -

Very nice collection minifigures! ... but where are the sets? gone or stored elsewhere? -
Please "Stay on target" as KimT might say. This topic is for rumours about future releases - not about availability or which set you would like to see. These have separate topics. Thanks for your coöperation.

Welcome back Kaitan! Your MOC looks awesome and definitly has the movie "feeling". Very nice details. I'm looking forward to your next MOC.

I think you did an awesome job on this midi-scale LAAT, it could have been a TLC design I'm more of a minifigure scale person but can really enjoy the mini and midi scales. Great job

Nice MOC This reminds me of the Slave I, but that's probably intended Does the pilot seat turn as well if the ship lands on it's back?
-
Love those pictures Thanks! Although the pictures of the costumes are really stealing the show... Especially the Kit Fisto... must be very rare.

Great review def and the set looks in excellent condition, well worth the money. Hahaha, very funny

Nice MOC and well improved with those flat tiles! I like it EDIT: Here's some reference material from Wookieepedia you can use to improve the model.

It's bumped again... Thanks for the reply Raphy, you've added a lot to the discussion I think it's a nice little MOC of a classic scene.
-
Thanks for adding those pictures Yep, the new one(s, two!) definitly look smoother and more realistic.

Very strange, you're right about those prices. I normally choose the international site and they (now) show up the same. If it was my mistake, than I'm sorry Thanks for noticing
-
Very steep indeed The Pirate Tank is available for € 49.99 and like in the UK the Silver Stormtrooper will be available on 30th July for € 6,00

Here's another link to a site with amazing lego art by Nathan Sawaya Enjoy.

It's a beauty It looks very compact, looking at the cockpit. And highly detailed wings/lasers as well. A comparison picture with the old models would be awesome if you'd find time for it.

No harm done. Hope to see your new pictures soon in the appropriate topic, which you started! -

I have to agree with ADHO15 on this Panda9001100. This doesnt really add anything to the pictures you posted last year. I'm always looking forward to new pictures of course. So if you've got those then feel free to share them with us. And on this matter too. I'm sorry but in my opinion this could be closed/merged with the other topic. "One topic to bind them all" as KimT would say. -
Well done You should deeplink some pictures, they're worth it. Have you got a pictures with the roof on it?

This has made my day Great picture, very original. You must have taken that picture some time ago or that sugar has been laying around for very long time, because I'm guessing the missus wouldn't allow you to spill sugar again for a lego picture. Mine wouldnt.

Sorry for bumping this one up, but I was re-reading Q's & A's on instructions, tutorials, scans and more, member instructions, ideas and help and found a link to this topic. But links to the pictures are broken/dead. Hopeso009, can you edit these?

Dont leave us at bay and post up the latest version

Thanks for the review CopMike I check my sources everyday to see if it's available, but no luck yet. Well done on getting it. It was love at first sight when I saw pictures of this. I think this set is amazing, just take a look at what your getting: - hangar - A-wing - conference and control room - five new minifigures, of whom two have got Mon Calamari heads. (which I think are expensive to produce) I missed out on the A-wing, so this kinda makes my rebel fighters complete. So I'm voting outstanding.

I think you did a great job choosing these colors instead of the CW cartoon version, the result is astonishing Well done on the custom minifigure Wat Tambor, I guess now TLC will have to take notice that they missed out on this. But then again, we can still look forward to one in the future... Just a question; what sets did you sacrifice to build this beauty?

You've probably added those pictures by uploading to EB forum and it has very, very limited space (100k). Create an account at, for instance, Brickshelf and then deeplink the pictures. This tutorial index explains how to do it. Good luck.
