Thanks for digging this up. I think this is one of the best sets that has been released. Although it could have included the side guns from the previous version, I think it's very well designed and has lots of features. As I stated in the topic Star Wars Minifigs, What's the big deal? the minifigure in a way makes the set and this includes five new minifigures. Do I need to say more...

Nice pictures again Smokebelch This really makes me want TLC to release another set with dewbacks People must have thought "What the heck is that guy doing lying around in the sand with his camera?" and then taking a more closer look "What?! Is he taking pictures of lego in the sand?!" and walking away in a big circle around you, thinking *lego freak* Hope you didnt get sunburned, lying around in the sand for hours

Very nice MOC Vimes I like your minifigure bountyhuntress as well. And a well designed interior, nice force cage! You're right Natman8000, when I saw it yesterday it had this familiair look which I couldnt place. For everyone that wants to make the same comparison:

[MOC] Minifig-scale Slayn & Korpil B-Wing
Future74 replied to RenegadeClone's topic in LEGO Star Wars
Welcome to EB! Great MOC, looks more like an UCS Maybe you could take pictures with the original TLC B-wing 6208, just to compare the two in size and detail. -
Wow. Plain and simple Wow. I'm totally asthonished Thanks for sharing those pictures! Some great scenes with lots of details. I like the Great Pit of Carkoon, although it's a little bit out of scale it's fantastic. Too bad you havent got pictures from it's interior/belly which is barely visible in the included pictures.

Doesnt this have it's on topic? No need to ask a question twice. It's been answered here

Nice one Rook Very well design with a nice interior. I especially like the sisters, well done on using the Ahsoka surplus minifigures in such an original manner. Maybe they can meet up with the Skywalker brothers

A set with a minifigure thats been released 10 times before just doesnt give me the same satisfaction as one that includes a new one. Even if the set is new, like for instance Anakin's Y-wing which has the same minifigures as the Twilight and Ahsoka's & Anakin's starfighters, is (in my opinion) a great model but lacks good minifigures. The AT-TE in that matter also included a new Captain Rex and made it feel quite different because of that. So in a way the minifigure makes the set.

Welcome as an active member, hope to see more reviews/additions in the future! Reading Oky Wan's post you must have added some pictures, well done Thanks for this nice review.

Haha I wish that was true I think the design is movie accurate, so it's well designed - but it doesnt give me the SW feeling like the other sets do. The minifigures look good, but they could also have come from the pirate theme. Thats why I would rate this set average.
-
Indeed, that looks odd. I guess I wouldnt have noticed it at first. Now I have to check mine, just to satisfy my curiosity. Great addition!
-
Nice work on the MOD I noticed the difference between the set and the movie too. A lot of details added! Landing gear, flip wings, bended sides, different gun position. So thanks, I will definitly put this to good use on my V-wing.

Show Your Army, Navy, and Collection Display
Future74 replied to BillytheKid's topic in LEGO Star Wars
Doesnt matter if your army is big or not, in my opinion. I see a lot of clone troopers which cant be explained by the sets you displayed. Are there sets missing or did you just buy the minifigures? For instance Commander Fox is without the homing spider droid. -
Voted average. I finished building mine yesterday and I have to agree its a bit small for what I expected. But its sturdy enough to swoosh around the room (not like the minifigure-scale Tantive IV in the other topic ) or the ISD. In my opinion Palpatines office (and dont get me wrong I like the desk) is a bit out of place in this set, the room doesnt even have an entrance. Thanks for the review Bricks.

I'm not into mini's, but this one is beautiful Great job!
-
I dont see anyone swooshing this around the room

I build mine yesterday and there is one thing that I noticed. Why were the front and back done separatly? If they were one and open it could mean more space. I feel some modding coming up...

I love this one Great work, keep it up Smokebelch... you seem to amaze me every time PS. note to myself: If I ever meet Smokebelch in person - DO NOT drink coffee with sugar, cause you never know where it's been.

Thanks for the review def I got my sets saturday and started building a few yesterday, one of them being this. No you're not. Although the design is way better than the old one, it looks/feels/is the same as the POD race goggles of episode I, this is a feature that could have been prevented by adding a little nob on the visor. I love the tauntaun The tauntaun makes this set so incredible. Hahaha saw this too and made me laugh. Maybe if you would held up the set above your head and looked upwards when flicking the missiles than it could be dangerous I like the old one better. As it is taller which makes it look more like in the movie. mmm Looking at the pictures I think here too the old one is done better than the new one. Dont get me wrong; I like the new one as well. This set is a definite buy for everyone that likes starwars and lego. Anyways thanks again for your review. I enjoyed reading and commenting this.

Are those new guns?!
-
If you want all of that, the set will be something like the Home One, not recognisable as a SSD - but just a scene. I wonder if they would include Darth Vader's meditation room as it was already included in the ISD set. mmm black suited Imperial Officers that reminds me: werent they in the Tantive IV scene in episode IV?

Great revision using the clone commander shoulder piece as head

I can only guess how the children in the shop must have felt. There must have been a lot of tears and screaming going on... ...and a big smile on your face

I thought so, I couldnt place it now it's up to TLC to make their version...
