  1. Never say never. It would be a nice touch for a re-release of Jabba's palace.
  2. Anyone care to show some pictures? They do clarify things easier to those who havent got it (yet)
  3. Very nice review Mischa07! Lots of pictures again Voted average. I like the set, but it's outdated and surpassed by the 7662 Trade Federation MTT. So I'm not judging it as an 2000 set but by todays standards... Although as a collector I would like to get my hands on one.
  4. I agree with Bricks... above average to me.
  5. Great MOD Dunamis! It looks simple. Curious to what other might mod.
  6. Agreed, this is a missed chance...
  7. Anyone see magnet set 852553 - Stormtrooper, Rebel Alliance Pilot, AT-ST Driver in stores or S@H??
  8. Nice entry! It surely looks like you put a lot of effort in it
  9. Great MOC of the Tri-droid! Simple, yet effective is my motto and this is it... I like the setting as well, but dont forget to post the requered pictures... would be a shame to see you being disqualified because of that.
  10. Great review ADHO15! I like the comparison pictures. Especially the dropship carrying the AT-OT and AT-TE! The LAAT/c (dropship) looks/is a lot bigger than the LAAT/i (gunship).
  11. Great review Dunamis! Waiting for this to arrive, next weekend. As a collector a definite must-buy, no second thoughts - even though the price is steep. Just a warning to all who (actually) love the set but think it's too expensive and they're waiting for it to go on sale; we've seen in the past that not every set will go on sale before being sold out... and this just might be such a set. And if it does go on sale, 50% is a lot...
  12. I didnt notice it either until very recently. Yes, they're actually really well done and funny, that's why I posted them up... So if anyone of the marketing team behind it reads this: well done!
  13. Very nice review! I'm waiting for mine... seeing this review I havent made a mistake buying it; it looks great.
  14. Thanks. It wasnt, it was concept art. Follow the link to Wookieepedia if you want to to read more about it. Yep, you're right. The actual size is supposed to be much larger, as it says on Wookieepedia, but I just have a few spare bricks
  15. What an incredible amount of bricks does the Venator consist of. Great collection! You can post the pictures (and more ) up in the show your army and home display topic
  16. I was clicking on the lego sets on S@H and a laugh when clicking several key chains. Just look at how they integrated the "protect/guard your keys" As the Emperor would say: "I assure you your keys will be quiet safe from your friends here"
  17. "Look at the size of that thing" Truly amazing... Does it have an interior?
  18. Thanks! Great review again I like these simple sets with awesome minifigures. They are dated before I started collecting SW Lego, so I missed out on them. Although I did get my hands on a Bib Fortuna minifigure, which in my opinion is the reason you should buy/have bought the reviewed set.
  19. Congrats on being the first to start this review! Looking forward to the rest of your review Starstreak As for the Euro price you mention in your first post it's €249,99 as well. Dollar = Euro. But that didnt stop me from ordering it, of course
  20. Beautifull! Well done. Looks like the real thing
  21. Sorry guys, seem to have missed it...
  22. Yes, we've seen those pictures before, even in this post. But not this movie I like the misspelling at the front opening: personal Commado Troops
  23. Here's another MOC. This is a droid that hasn't appeared in neither the movies nor the series. As Wookieepedia behind the scenes states: "The Scorpenek annihilator droid appears to be based on a piece of concept art for Star Wars Episode II: Attack of the Clones. It also resembles concept art of what would become the droideka. "Scorpenek" sounds like Scorponok, an evil robot in the Transformers series." Here's a picture and link to Wookieepedia. I just came across it and decided to give it a try. Here's the result: Front Side Back Hope you'll like it.
  24. Using my old lego bricks and a few pieces lend from my SW sets I found a way to participate in the contest. The design Again “keep it simple” was my starting point. Seeing the canons used in episode III onboard the Acclamator cruiser and in episode IV onboard the Death Star, I thought of artillery pieces. Yes, they are on the battlefield of the SW universe, but only as self propelled artillery. No loose pieces. And considering these were widely used in our own past, dating back to the medieval era, I took a good look at WWII to get inspired. Here is the Republic ATA (Anti Tank Artillery) Consisting of only 34 pieces. Background story. In the face of the droid army with its numerous Armored Assault Tanks the Grand Army of the Republic was in desperately in need of an simple, light, easy to produce, cheap and yet effective countermeasure against armour. As the strategy in the beginning of the Clone Wars was not to conquer but to defend, the weapon would have no need of a driving capability. Making it small and light would have the benefit that it could be transported by the LAAT/i together with it’s crew making it flexible and easy to deploy. This gun can be placed in open field, hidden within buildings/bunkers, or camouflaged within woods making it suitable for use on planets with all types of environments except for water. Watch out AAT’s! Front Right Left Back Top All pictures can be found in this Brickshelf gallery, when public. Hope you’ll enjoy it.
  25. Very nice review It's a shame this is the only set that has the Watto minifigure, maybe they will redo it...
