  1. From my understanding (didn't see the movie) is the villian is a cannibal, so only fair to show his evil nature. Can't have a movie about serial killers and such without showing them doing what they do best. But I get ya. -Om
  2. Target demographic is 13+, but doesn't stop parents to bring their kids. Batman, Batman Returns, and Batman Forever were also PG-13. Batman & Robin, a movie especially written to sell to kids is also PG-13. All the Marvel movies are PG-13 (with exception to Blade series). -Omi
  3. But it is supported by them, which is no surprise. Coming from a company that cannot allow it's own Lego staff to communicate with kids on online forums. -Omi
  4. It's PG-13. It's not a kid movie to begin with. :P -Omi
  5. That's a choice made by the LUG group/person running the AFOL con. Lego has no authority at conventions since they don't even organize them. -Omi
  6. Actually it really was Lone Ranger. I am excited to get some unique fig pieces out of these to customize. :) -Omi
  7. He used some custom pieces.... -Omi
  8. They have before. And Lego has showcased prototype sets and figs many times at shows, including Comic Con and Toyfair. -Omi
  9. How can we tell? I can't even see Batman in the cockpit. -Omi
  10. True.... but he is the kind of the guy you challenge head on, face first type. Not the lunatic you chase around Gotham. :P Maybe they'll do another Bat playset, sorta "duel" set. That could work best. -Omi
  11. Well Ra's really isn't the "vehicle" type of villain. :/ -Omi
  12. Green tux. Green bowler. That's how you do Riddler. The build is probably inspired by the show but not entirely based. -Omi
  13. Finally a proper Riddler figure. -Omi
  14. There was a thread that was later merged with the Licensed Rumor thread about there being a Simpsons theme since Lego was in talks with Fox. Could be a possible chance we could get some more out of it than just Simpsons, like the X-Men and FantasticFour movies. -Omi
  15. Can you please just stop justifying yourself. I guess that's reasonable. -Omi
  16. Mocking mental disorders is not something to have fun about. It is rather insulting, and you should have more care when using that term. And I don't have OCD. -Omi
  17. Um, are you seriously calling me autistic on this? That's not a word to use casually like that. I'm only saying this because jumping to conclusions on fan forums leads to misconceptions. -Omi
  18. That's the problem right there. If they don't have access, they cannot base it on that. Legalities and all that. Yes they have made sets in the past, with the Sony license (which has ran up), and the current license is currently the Ultimate Spiderman show and comics. That's all we know. They didn't make sets for ASM even when Disney acquired the merch rights in 2011 from Sony, so what does that say? Not an official source nor has an official source on info. -Omi
  19. Sarcasm flew right past ya. In any case, Lego has not said they have the license. So until they do, it isn't an ASM Spiderman fig. -Omi
  20. What Spiderman movie? You mean the one not close to release, with still not much details to it and no trailer? Green Arrow figure has the New 52 design (which is also an alternate design dur) because Lego has access to that material. They not once said they have any access to the ASM material, so we can't conclude that the Spiderman figure is for the movie. -Omi -Omi
  21. Yeah, at the cost of your identity. That is potential identity theft too if there is a mishap. -Omi
  22. The Children's Science Museum in Boston has a policy similar to this. They require you turn over your licence/ID and issue you a pass if you do not have a child during your time in the museum and they'll return it to you when you leave. They can also tell you to leave whenever the case as well. So yeah, this isn't a Lego thing guys. It's an everyday, everywhere thing. -Omi
  23. How does that work for things like, say, the Lego video games made by TT? -Omi
  24. The value will eventually die down once the hype goes away and there are enough in circulation. I snagged Phoenix for $135, which to me was fair since she was going for $200+. -Omi
  25. It's based on the New 52 Green Arrow. Fig released to coincide with the hype of the Arrow series most likely. -Omi
