  1. They decided that it wasn't right to bring in MJ because they wanted to focus more on the Peter/Gwen relationship more, and bringing in MJ would cause another "love interest" so to speak. Sucks though, because it was said she did a good job on her scenes. -Omi
  2. The way the comics and 90s cartoon handled it is that if anything was altered in the past, it immediately resets the future/present timeline without creating an alternate timeline. Been awhile since I read the issues, but I remember how the cartoon did it very well. Bishop was sent back (in the comics it was Kitty Pryde who does) to prevent Senator Kelly's assassination which led to mutants being hunted by Sentinels. After he fixes that, only he remembers the change in the future as everything was reset to the future being bleak on the whole Mutant virus launched by Apocalypse to which Bishop (Age of X story roughly), as well as Cable from a later time, go back to prevent again. Future reset with Cable and Bishop only remembering. Then there was the Prof X assassination which happened back in the 50s which reset the present X-Men timeline leading to the Age of Apocalypse. Time itself just changed the scenario on Wolverine and Storm without them knowing to mutants being hunted down by Sentinels and Apocalypse once again. So they and Bishop go back to the 50s to stop Xavier being killed twice (they failed the first time), and everything goes back to normal. Xavier only remembers these events. With this movie, I'm guessing something happened small that brings the attention to Xavier to which he has Kitty send back Wolverine (that's how it's being done as far as I know) and chances are Wolverine or someone else did something else they shouldn't have done and reset the future again. This whole concept was used in the Terminator series, and you'll keep hearing the words "resetting the future". Not exactly creating an alternate timeline, just messing with the straight timestream constantly to where events are completely changed. But that is a story for another time. -Omi
  3. Probably. Probably not. -Omi
  4. I've used Omicron prior as my online handle on other forums, so I kept up tradition. Originally from the BZPower forums. I thought it sounded cool, but turned out had some cryptic meaning behind it later on. My full name (first, middle, laster) has 15 letters in it, with my middle initial being O. Omicron is the Greek letter for O, and both are the fifteenth letters of their respective alphabets. They are also found near the middle of their alphabets. Omi is just short for Omicron. I started doing that because members kept misspelling Omicron, so I gave them an alternative to just call me Omi. 3 simple letters and it stuck after that. -Omi
  5. Even the absolutely amazing Wolverine Origins video game poked fun at that. During that scene, he literally says "Well I guess you're not the merc with the mouth anymore". And my friend was like "REALLY? Really?". -Omi
  6. I love it when celebs just casually walk amongst the crowd in the open with no one noticing. -Omi
  7. Nah he just had a regular jacket in X1. -Omi
  8. The leather jacket he wore in Origins was a reference to one of his outfits, as it was based on it. -Omi
  9. Wolverine is also getting more spotlight in Days of Future Past, as I just found out, as he is the one being sent back through time. Which I'm not happy about, even though I love the guy. -Omi
  10. Just Sony. Fox isn't giving anything up. -Omi
  11. Yessir. I made one as well, but with just orange hair. But all in all, he can be made properly. :P -Omi
  12. Yes. I know a customizor who did do that and it works perfectly. If not trans, orange works fine too. -Omi
  13. It's cheaper to drive, especially air fares these days. I've ditched the plane to VA since 2008. -Omi
  14. When you really think about it, most of the comic heroes Lego has released aren't kid friendly. Lego made Man of Steel sets, and kids were crying at the end of the movie from all the violence and fighting when I saw it. -Omi
  15. Kinda messed up your links there. -Omi
  16. Rhino is pretty big to deserve a big fig rendition. As for Colossus, part of his powers is becoming larger than normal, and he is also a big guy too when not using his powers. Hence why he is a big fig. -Omi
  17. And given that in the comics when his adamantium is completely ripped off his skeleton by Magneto, it burned out his healing powers yet he still used his bone claws. And after that his body rejected the adamantium process because of that. He only successfully re-bonded because of Apocalypse. -Omi
  18. Kinda curious about the name, as the normal Brickfest still uses it. :/ www.brickfest.com -Omi
  19. All depends on what medium of canon they are working with. Some people get poisoned by stuff, some aren't. -Omi
  20. Not entirely. His body is also used to the claws constantly coming in and out. Initially when he started using them (and the admantium claws) he bled a whole lot. His body adapts. And it isn't changing now. It's been a plot device before. -Omi
  21. This happened before. I can recall in the 90s cartoon when they went to the Savage Land, his healing powers were taken, but he still could use his claws (because at the time they were from Weapon X), and he used them despite the additional pain. -Omi
  22. I think it could partly be that they are becoming a dying breed and could use something to boost. I know Sears hasn't been doing very well in the past couple years. -Omi
  23. In all fairness, IHop and Sears are literally the only things out there in Kansas to destroy. :P -Omi
  24. Could also be "We don't know much about it as you probably do" as well. Since I know sometmes customer service doesn't know much about the product they sell, only bigger tech issues. -Omi
