This dude selling them has all 4 of the figs, with 2 of each. Quite the luck of the draw if you ask me. -Omi -

And it begins. Figures on ebay. Spiderman is going for nearly $1300 while the rest are $500. -Omi -

It's moreso a matter of balance. Otherwise all the Marvel sets would just be Spiderman for that year. -Omi -

Lone Ranger isn't a Hero theme so it won't take away from anything, nor does it open any slots. -Omi -

Until Lego says something about it, it's just an alternate Spiderman. -Omi -

I just did. The Raimi Spiderman movies had the basketbal texture too. Juss sayin. And a Spider logo? You don't say....... Guess having a spider logo sets it apart from the many suits Spiderman has had. -Omi -

What you talking about? There was a Green Lantern movie, and Lego could have made a GL set from the movie (albiet late), just like they did with the TDKR set that came out long after the movie was released. And regardless of whether the movie was a flop or not, you can clearly tell people still wanted sets cuz of all the rage is seething that came from the exclusive GL figure. The Spiderman figure doesn't confirm anything for next year. We don't even know that it is a figure for ASM or not because official sources have not clarified that and we are only going by what the fans here are saying. It could just be a really nicely detailed Spiderman. Because if that was the case, then where are my more X-Men sets? Where are my Shazam sets? I hope to see my Spiderwoman sets. -Omi -

Still doesn't take away from what you said that Lego wouldn't just make a one off fig for a movie when they can make sets, when they did just exactly that with the Green Lantern figure. The same could happen with ASM, since Lego would have to stop doing sets on Ultimate Spiderman. -Omi -
Pirates of the Carribean: Dead Man's Chest. Whole island of cannibals. Then there was that scene of the guy getting his throat slit. -Omi

I'm pretty sure that is exactly what happened. Considering Lego has access to whatever DC material they pretty much what to make into Lego, and even though Green Lantern dropped the ball as a movie, Lego also dropped the ball with making more sets to go with/long it, since they only made one set other than the figure. And in regards to the super awesome Wolverine picture, if Lego doesn't get around to them, you can always get these. And it looks lovely. -Omi -

Well...... she did have a show back in the day. That starred that particular Spiderwoman. And then there was the other Spiderwoman in the absolutely horrible Iron Man cartoon, but I digress. -Omi -

A rather disappointing way of "making it" into the set. -Omi -

And what ever happened to the Green Lantern sets? Or the Shazam sets? Plus the DKR Batman was way different than the one released with the TDKR set. -Omi -

I think it's difficult to pin down the quality of the faces of GA and SW since they have large headgear that cover parts of their faces. Plus you gotta keep in mind these pics are being taken live from the event, and not some professional photo finish. -Omi -

Sometimes yes. Other times, last minute. Take other movie franchises. Sometimes these things just happen. Gotta milk every last drop from the cash cow. :P -Omi -

Yep. I know that scene. I can see how the suit would play into that. Didn't occur to me his suit was black in that scene though when I saw the movie.... -Omi -

Probably to be in more line with Jor-El from the movie, but made it Superman instead. But that's my guess. These figures always tend to relate to current media and chosen themes of the license. Spoiler tags are there for that. Otherwise, we don't know what you're talking about. :/ -Omi -

There was certainly hype for the movie, considering it was a well known gaming franchise, and the movie was based on one of the very popular games of the rebooted series. -Omi -

That is purely game design choice that TT Games went with, since the models already existed in their data from the first game. I'm not gonna say FF is confirmed, but just would be nice and all. I know Lego can't touch the movies and we already discussed that to death. But if they don't, no worries. I already have my custom FF figures. :P -Omi -

Honestly the fact that GoTG is getting movie shows they are known, for something that is. I know they tie in with Thanos, who was shown in the Avengers, and the Nova Corps. -Omi -

Or maybe because Transparent heads have been common in Lego sets for a very long time? Davy Jones, Bootstrap Bill, Gandalf the White, Saruman, Mouth of Sauron, Elrond, Arwen, Aquaman.... Their first appearances were in the video games and those designs were their fig designs. -Omi -
Might not be good for Depp either. This may be the film that could take him off the A-List. http://movies.yahoo.com/blogs/movie-talk/does-lone-ranger-disaster-dump-johnny-depp-list-175753167.html -Omi
