Here is a MOCpages page with all the views I took photos of.

The slopes are from an Exo-Force mecha Stealth Hunter, the blue bits are stickers.

A lollipopman is a crossing guard. They stand on a common route to school for grade school age children (translated for those across the pond) to help them cross the road safely. They are known as a Lollipopman/lady because of the round sign on a stick looks like a lollipop. There are often more than one about the place, as they stand by busy main roads with schools on/along. We have two in my villiage as there are two school sites and two busy roads that most children have to walk on.

Well, when I first made it and posted it, only those who know super large amounts of trivia about star wars would really get the joke. Or of you are british and of a certain vintage (vis: My mother thought it very funny because she remembered the Green Cross Code ads from her childhood and the actor's other roles). Which people know huge amounts of trivia related to Star Wars? The nerdy! Until I explained it/others pointed out that they "got" it, if you didn't know heaps of trivia related to Star Wars or recalled the ad campaign for road safety, then you wouldn't get the joke.. Ho hum.

I only have those parts in yellow (or the only ones I can find are yellow) so I left them in so I could get building. I think I was working on the principal that some vital support parts of many craft are only ever in one stock colour, thus those clips are only yellow! If I can find some white ones (I am in the middle of sorting my Lego by colour, so I might turn some up soon) I'll swap them in. It bugs me when I can't get parts in colours that match

Not my first attempt at a Star Wars MOC, just the first I bothered posting here. I don't build Star Wars often, I think I have made a total of three that I posted online... (a podracer, a vig for a competition and this one here...). The three threads are as follows: 1. Darth Vader as a lollipopman is pretty funny in itself. 2. David Prowse was The Green Cross Code Man and Darth Vader. 3. He's helping a Jedi Youngling, A Sandraider child and a little rebel cross the road... I don't think I will be making huge amounts of Star Wars MOCs, as it is well known I prefer other themes. However every now and then I do enjoy building some joke scenes to tease my friend, so I might post a few more in the future

So I have slightly changed my signature to include links to the three photo hosts I use. With colourful font!

Ah, Crash wouldn't settle for any smaller engines. After all, if it's small it won't go fast! My haphazard building means parts keep getting added and things get bigger... I do like the end result, but I will quite likely make many changes if it gets broken. The rounded section is rather fragile in places, so it takes a while to fix when it all falls apart.

1. It is merely a Jedi Youngling not young Anakin (but ginger hair worked best with the brown torso) 2. It's a little rebel child. Thanks for the comments guys. My friend also thought it was funny so looks like it was a mission accomplished . It was annoyingly hard to find lots of unstickered bley in my unsorted Lego.

I'm lucky that there are a few pictures of the hotel as it was around the place. It is slightly different today (the lower levels are home to highstreet shops and a Starbucks) but I can still see the stone it was made from. I decided to do my best with the parts I had to hand and see what came of it. This was the first (and so far only) MOC I have made with my laptop nearby for pictures to build from. Glad you like it

Heh, I just had to build this. It's a little joke for my friend, plus I wanted to see how a lollipop sign decal would look. (I wasn't wasting work software on my toys, nosir.) As I have been aving issues with scaling of decals. I am rather proud of the photo too, the best MOC photo I have taken apart from a a few flukes a while back.

The Swift, Flagship of the Incredinauts and piloted by their brave leader Captain Crash Awesome: Space Hero. (Photo is link to flickr) So I joined flickr. I loaded my ship, its rounded and shiny white! I will get around to posting more views too MOCpages at some point (they don't have much to show off really) as I want to use flickr for a teaser pic or for my super goog MOCs and moments of photography pride.

The 170th anniversary of the Newport Rising, a Chartist Riot in Newport, a city not far from me (in fact I think my villiage may have been on the route that the rioters marched). I learned about it in History in school and found it rather interesting. I hope you enjoy the edumactional MOC I built. (image is link to flickr) Edited for Grammer and Spelling

Photo is also a link to flickr So I finally joined flickr, and uploaded some of my latest MOCs. This one was made just this afternoon. Enjoy, comment and such. (and Star Wars MOCs are rare for me. So this is a BlueMoon sort of thing.) Cookie for anyone who gets the three threads of the joke.

I had the PaB variation too. That one was much worse. There were rare elements, new elements that the unknown depths of my imagination had dredged up. I went wild only to discover the price was half what I had expected. It was great. I got the parts home and sorted them all out, made new figures and had a great time. I woke up fully expecting to go into the loft and admire all my new Lego. .

A Hostage Situation
Peppermint_M replied to KingUndertheMountain's topic in LEGO Action and Adventure Themes
That is an Adventurers torso. The other guy has an older fireman torso. Both are in old gray shades. -
I have plenty of those, not the "wrong stuff" bit though. I buy the sets, I take them home, I put them in my Lego space ready to build. I wake up and promptly realise that the awesome sets (or toys, or boots, or jacket, or hat etc) are not real, I only bought them in a dream. While it is a better way to wake up than the 'all of Existence hitting you slap bang in the gray matter' first thoughts upon waking, annoying non the less.

Welcome to Eurobricks Dim ages are slightly annoying aren't they (I have to have them at exam time, 'else I'll never study!). I look forward to seeing your MOCs, I am huge castle fan, poor castle builder. Anywho, enjoy the forum!

When I first read this, I thought it was going to be a debate on Official Lego Sets, but if it's about MOCs... I personaly do not design blood into my MOCs, photoshop it into pictures of my MOCs or even hint it is a factor. Cartoon violence is fine, even in my Agents layout (so there are a lot of guns..) and in my historic vig's. However, if others (TFOLs...) want to put it in for some reason, fine by me, I just don't really see a point to it. If in an artistic or historical context blood is suggested, that is fine and even accurate. If it is stupid amounts of blood spatter presented in a comedic way I'm not interested (but I do have a fond nostalgia for Block Death..). Stupid amounts of violence and blood for some unknown reason are also something that honestly causes me to write of the MOCer as some bloodthirsty little socialy neglected nerd-teen with an unhealthy obsession with their xbox games. But there we are. Sorry if this offends anyone. I did not set out to do so. I have never been tempted to add blood to my MOCs, I won't ever (likely) add blood to a MOC but some may be construed as violent. If cartoon violence is used, fantastic I love it. Super-red megabloodfest is unwelcome. Just my opinion, mark you. Edited for spelling

Post about Cartoons and Anime you like
Peppermint_M replied to Peppermint_M's topic in Culture & Multimedia
Wow. Ok. I think its a good thing I skipped to the latest page by the looks of that... I love the nostalgia of old cartoons. Heh, sometimes I can't bring myself to watch them because it shatters my memories. The 90s Speed Racer series and The Hurricanes (a football team cartoon) did not age well and thus destroyed the sharp and clear awesome I saw at around age seven as I tried to replicate the characters and cars in Lego... Everything inspires my building, and both anime and cartoons still give me ideas and awesome things to build Cool choices Shamrock, I agree about the second series of Robotech (worst spent £20 ever) I got it on DVD and watched it once for completeness, my friend didn't get past the third episode. I adore The Macross Saga and New Generation was cool too (how hard is it to make a minifig scale Cyclone!) the new film was decent, I just wish they'd make another. Also, the X-Men cartoon? Gambit is hot (not an opinion I expect anyone here to share, but there we go) . Also The Cat Piano a stylish noir short animation. If anyone has about 10 minutes to spare and likes noir, jazz, scat and poet like delivery of narration, take a look. -
purple So I know now that I am going to be getting quite a bit of this (including more than one Army Men battlepack). Zurg is now supplying me with plenty of purple. I might try and get a few LGMs on bricklink (my favourite characters). Looks like 2010 is the year I get licensed lego in a big way. Big Buzz looks great as a display set too (the dome might get tempting for MOCing). If opinion is correct and Agents is all over, looks like I won't be entering that set purchasing dark age (sorry bank balance) I was anticipating, with the quality of sets for next year, and all the shiny cool new elements I'll have plenty to buy!
-
So now I will certainly be getting every set under £10 That looks really good.

Well, I did say you could just list them, I just assumed something else would be added to explain a little... ho hum. -
Thanks for that. I think I'll go for the bigger set too, (to celebrate passing my first year of uni )

*grumble grumble grumble* I will now be avoiding this topic, because I have to wait until the 30th of October to see it. Did I mention
