It was enjoyable enough with her new questmates, but once again her thoughts returned to those she had adventured with before, wondering how they fared in their fields of battle. The Ellaria seemed to be death glaring in her direction. 'I seem to be doing bad by that cleric' Tesni mused to herself. 'Maybe I should tell Tarn about the rite of my village, that should send him in the right direction soon enough...' Tesni grinned and stood, aiming for the bar. "What ales might I find here today?" she asked. "I heard over in the fishmarket of one called Boar Tusk, they say it is good. I can have a flaggon?"

Also Tesni will be putting paid to all this soon enough, have you read her advice on romance to Jess? A rite of combat is a Hightribe tradition I think Tarn will need a cleric after that.

Tesni returned to the hall, she had had an enjoyable day exploring the coastline for caves and rock pools. Growing up high in the mountains, ever day by the sea was a special treat. "Hail friends!" She called, returning to the table she had left earlier. Scooping up a plate from the serving table she sat, to enjoy chatting and good food with friends.

Tesni regarded her table mates and mentally calculated how long it would be until the quests would finish recruiting. "I am off for a walk." She stood up, oredering some bread as she left the hall.

Tesni looked down at her trousers. "Oh, that is stitching. Direwolf claws tear anything and all I had was red thread." She laughed. "I am good at sewing yes?"

"Big Swords are heavy too. A slash is from smaller blades, cunning hits. A big sword does both. Slashes greatly or comes down from high and bashes enemies."

Hurrah! We can go shopping!

"I am not sure about the exploding Tarn. I like something shouty or growly to bash, easier that way!" Tesni gestured widely and nearly knocked a few around the table. "Oops", she blushed slightly. "Also I want to go fight the Abraxas and the Alchemists and the mage family do not like each other. I do not want to risk a chance of fighting such a foe. The battle would be glorious!"

"Aye, fighting in the hall might get you thrown out." Tesni tried to look at them in a threatening manner, but had a hard time of it, all the chicken antics were too funny.

Tesni watched the rouge with amusement. 'I wonder how Eric and Jess are getting on?' she thought, it would be fun to show them her new sword and Jess would surely be impressed with her new outfit.

"We had chickens back home." Tesni said whistfully. "I fed them before I checked the sheep and goats... I sometimes miss the animals that are not trying to eat me." She laughed to dispell her homesickness. "You will be looking for the alchemist Tarn?" Tesni asked. "I think I would prefer to face the undead to a lot of exploding stuff!"

Yes she does. It was the headband that did it for me. She looked just right to be the "tank" of this group.

"A Chicken!" Tesni shouted with delight. "Hello chook chook, what is your name?" She handed a morsel of bread to the new tablemate.

Quite possibly, the girls have grown on me.

Tesni pocketed the gold and smiled she thanked Tarn. Turning back to Alexis: "I mean, if my Cysgodion were to face a demon, nothing would happen, it's element of darkness would not harm a dark creature. So I have Cryf, just in case I have to fight a demon. What element is your gemstone?"
