Not really. While "X-Thing in Show would be cool" is fine whole plot discussion is not for here.

Heroica RPG - Quest #89: Reclaiming Glory

"Hah ha! Singed your beard!" Tesni jumped to fight once more, aiming another sweep with her flaming blade at the leader of the horde. -
It is mixed for me. I have a drawer full of racing car MOCs that I do not plan to take apart and a selection of others I have no plans on destroying. Then there are some that don't even get as far as the photograph because I can think of improvements. Often times it takes a massive accidental break or an "upgrade" for me to take down the build. I have varying levels of attatchement to a MOC and this rules how I treat it.

Cartoon discussion in the TV Series thread please! This is to talk about the sets thank you.

DVDs and Polybags. They are all a bit of the older crop as they are leftovers from the Ninja Month prize pool. I thought you'd all appreciate a chance to grab some goodies.

I have found many people embrace it when I mention it. I think the fact that I have visited other countries and made friends all over the world helps them get over the "basement dweller" stereotype. I have never had people make it a problem. Way back in school I was watching the Revenge of the Brick video, I was 18 and in my last year of 6th form and someone from my Geology class noticed. When they were somewhat nonplussed I simply said "LEGO is cool." and all they could do was agree! Nowadays, when it comes up for whatever reason, I am suddenly adopted as the expert for opinions on the best set to get for someone or pressed on what I think about something. This from anyone, including complete strangers. My fingertip search for CMFs helps I think! Though "Have you heard about the LEGO Movie?" has got a little tiring! The most vexing experience I had was a family friend acting a little strange about me buying LEGO. She was on the desk at the shop I was buying in at the time and she is a rather odd lady to be fair, she seemed to think I shouldn't be using my money to buy myself LEGO. I just smiled and carried on. Her husband wants to build a repilca TARDIS after all. (I look at them sometimes and wonder...)

Heroica RPG - Quest #89: Reclaiming Glory
Peppermint_M replied to CMP's topic in The Heroica Archive
The spirits of blades flared about her as Tesni watched the battle from the pathside, it was vexing but who was she too argue, being flat out on the deck. "We are saving our strenght girl." Cysgodion said, on old but strong voice. "The aged warrior speaks true. Rest is what we shall do." The lilting rhymes of the Quirin pitched in. "I am the firestarter, twisted firestarter." Fà elà n wasn't paying much attention, the blade was tempremental and better left to its own devices outside of battle. "Still, I would have liked to have had a bit more of a warm up before we hit government and all that." Tesni grumbled. Cryfder's bulky spirit leaned in comfort like a faithful hound. "Our chance will come." Dryw quieted the others. -
Ok... Extension time! I sorta have more prizes than entries right now... You have until Christmas Day!

Tesni grumbled about being woken a little and stood. "Ok, I suppose. Though getting involved in this and out of our way seems wasteful of time and resources." -

Tesni slept away the voyage, there was little time to rest during quests. -
This is a stamp of approval. I love the trees you built too, I have been spending the longest time trying different techniques and this one never occured to me... (To the parts box!!)

"Eh, when things come down to it everyone fights to where their loyalties lie, whether that be the path they decide is true or for the fattest purse. We'll see how things go." -

Tesni sat on the deck watching the comings and goings. "So, two gangs going out to this far off land." She muttered across to the kobold. "Not that I mind so long as I get to lay my head and eat fair rations. Though, might you tell me a little of the other two here who seem to know you?" The berserker idly laid her sword harness to the deck, the weapons near at hand. "I have nothing against fighting the others if our paths were to cross at odds, mark you. It would be interesting to test my strength against." -

"Sailing in the sea is a lot more palatable than sailing in the sky." Tesni said as they followed the kobold. "So, Orcs, Ennon botherers, vikings and kidnapping.... Well, I can't wait to introduce them to Cysgodion!" -

Tesni fetched up at the docks, this time it was not after scurrying through sewers and they did not need to hide in the cargo. "Hail small goblin? And Jess! Your fellow chose well Gocklo, Jess and I are the scourge of Haddon!" The berserker halted with a metallic clunk from her armarments. "Who else are we to expect?" -
Tesni heard the hall bustle and noticed the sound of talke regarding quest picks. Checking the board she grinned and decided it was time to prepare for her trip.

A Website like Eurobricks... for clone brands!
Peppermint_M replied to Cap't black brick's topic in Community
Thought that was well known? It is pretty much admitted by TLG these days but it was a black secret a few years ago. I am still seeking a few examples of the original brick... One day! -
Action Themes Halloween Winners!
Peppermint_M replied to Peppermint_M's topic in LEGO Action and Adventure Themes
It hasn't got a winner, everyone who entered and wanted a tag were invited to post in the Spook Central thread and could request a tag of their choice. -
Maybe it was in the index? Kim had a good whack at it back in my Queening days and I semi kept up with adding reviews here and there. I can't recall really. On current topic. Cobi/Character have some very nice parts, the plastic is good quality and not only are there 1x1 circular plates there are also 2x2 plates and 1x4 plates to use. Though I have so fare resisted using them.
