Or you could hold back on classing at all until a much higher level. Chi Monk is the only option open to Tesni right now and I am really considering holding down until level 40 to become a chieftan in preperation for Paragon. Though the vast array of gems is very tempting...

Action Themes Halloween: My Entries Recap
Peppermint_M replied to totohs's topic in LEGO Action and Adventure Themes
Yes, but this way people can comment on the MOCs beyond some point allocating in the voting threads. I didn't want the entries thread clogged up with comments and this seems a good solution to that. -

Well, everything has now closed! I will be locking the entry threads and putting the voting threads up by Sunday. Cheers everyone, thanks for making all those cool entries to the contests! -
Um, again, that one was late. Really Sorry! But, as you are the last entry and it is not like I have a lot of others.... I suppose it can be included unless anyone has major objections!

MOCs...detail as you go, or when you're done?
Peppermint_M replied to punkkid364's topic in General LEGO Discussion
It depends. I build some up from details and build details onto others. It is pretty much dependant on what I am creating and why. -
Action Themes Halloween: Ghoul Busters
Peppermint_M replied to Peppermint_M's topic in LEGO Action and Adventure Themes
The rules state 8x8. That is what is needed and seeing as I stated that the rules are the rules to every other time you wanted them changed I do not know why you could build one that contravened them. Really, it is that simple, the rules posted are the rules to follow. Everyone else seems able to follow them. -
Ah ha, thank you. That looks very useful.

Action Themes Halloween: Monster Bash
Peppermint_M replied to Peppermint_M's topic in LEGO Action and Adventure Themes
It can be sixteen studs long or under, 16x16 is just a helpful square area to work with, but the maximum is 16 along the front and 16 down the side.- 12 replies

Is that a cat or a skunk in the background?

Think fun loving. I'd be careful how you say and what you say unless you want your own Reed Richards to come along. Just a friendly tip there. -
Are there any UK based anyone knows of? I have been looking around to get a brick with my name to go on my badge but so far I cannot find a printer or an engraver who would do a single brick.

Action Themes Halloween: Monster Bash
Peppermint_M replied to Peppermint_M's topic in LEGO Action and Adventure Themes
They are scary and monsters, so I think that should be ok, so long as it looks more like a Monster than a SciFi MOC.- 12 replies

Action Themes Halloween: Creature's Lair
Peppermint_M replied to Peppermint_M's topic in LEGO Action and Adventure Themes
It seems a lot like overhang if it is over a 10 degree angle. A cut-out from a wall would be good but a swing wall that sticks out a lot seems a bit cheeky. -

"Pleasure doing business." Tesni took the gold with a grin.

"Alright then, that is good gold." Tesni handed over the stones.

Well, some of my sets are still stored even now. The Agents command truck was so cool that it is still all built, though I did strip the interior for later refurbishment and the MMV is there. Then again some sets never even get built! As a rule I let them sit a month, if I really like the set then it will last until I am desperate for a part. Some sets are those I bought on eBay, ones I wanted very badly as a child and finally got as an adult. They will remain built for as long as I can keep them. My MOCs last as long as I want them to, I have a box full of Speed Racer scale cars (and the Speed Racer cars themselves) and a fair number of planes. I am most likely only ever going to take those apart if I am building a like-for-like MOC, so a car is changed into another car and a plane likewise.Others come apart super quickly, either I come back and think they need changing or they are structuraly unsound enough to fall down!

Also to remember is the polybags that get sold through retailers, not just the ones that are promotional. While they aren't the best sets they are a decent price. I am not sure about where they sell in the US but in the UK WHSmith's have them at £2.99.

It is a little late in the game for Dark World sets isn't it? Unless they have been well under wraps then they will be out way after the film, it is out in a few days over here! Though sets based on the film would be awesome, plenty of cool weapons and figure designs.

So this guy is someone else? Most of my Spidey knowledge comes from the 90s cartoon (The most AWESOME of all the Spidey anything.) I always wanted a minifig of this guy when I was a kid. Excited for Batgirl though.
