I was holding onto a hope that a CMF theme might be classic minifigs from history. With next year being an anniversary, sixteen figure favourites would be a great celebration of all things minifigure.

Can you not mini-mod? That is against the rules too you know. I have been trying to figure what should be happening with videos, soon enough we'll have a more concrete rule. -
Whut. Giant figures? Too cool! Anyone have answers on that? I want in!

So, I gotta get down to Smyths then. CMFs and probable discounts/clearance on older NinjaGo sets to free up shelf space? I sighted some sets in Waterstones, an (alleged) bookshop chain. But the prices there are rather shocking so I held off. -

Man, I loved that game. I think due to the percentage of Adventurer characters, it gets a pass for this sub-forum Great work! -
It may be advertising content that is causing the issue. It happens when an advert has a redirect inside it that usually sends you off to a dodgy site.

I was thinking something more modern but with the retro-tech feel of Warehouse 13. -
Indeed posts in Community are not counted as there was far too many threads that while fun, were nonsense and we did prefer that meaningful posts added to total. In all fairness, everyone's post count got reduced when the change was implemented.

In good news, the Golden Age Flash and Disco Nightwing look great. I ordered two of each and they had consistent printing and decent quality. The helmet is excellent and the wings are chrome gold.

Could you try following the posting rules you agreed too when joining the site? Correct capitalisation and punctuation please. -
That is really cool! I know of people who complain about that sort of thing but you've got a rare beast there.

Waiting for the inevitable discount myself. They are in enough places that I anticipate a good reduced price. -

Amazing review as ever Whitfang! I have to say that this whole series offers me something to get, be it headgear or new colours/prints. I love that Dragon Tattoo on the rocker (not just because I would love one exactly like that), the new bowls are great and I can't help but love the great percentage of girls in there. (Recalling days gone by when it was not the easiest to get a variety of female minifigures). Thanks for your review

Future Action and Adventure Themes

So I was thinking along the line of Adventurers again. But then I got a little distracted and was coming across my Monster Fighters and Agents... How about a fusion of the three? Like Warehouse 13! Adventurers who travel to collect artefacts that have been causing/the source of monsters and wacky hi-jinks? It gives a chance for all the staples of an Action Theme, vehicles of all kinds, baddies and a collection gimmick with a HQ required. -

Members show themselves as helpful, interested and capable. Many of the regulators in parts of the forum were already creating and running an index or had outright offered to help out or suggested help to the forum Mod. They needed a few extra powers to help out and were made a regulator, if they prove themselves to be trustworthy and capable then they remain regulator. Later, if a need for a moderator arises one of these regulators could be considered as a candidate and are often amongst the first choices. The whole process, right from a Mod suggesting that a user could be a regulator, is discussed by the whole staff.

No problems! Multimedia is a ways down the board listing anyway, sometimes it is easy to miss. -
In answer to: Sure, someone has been banned and this is something that some disagree with. You never know, there could be another group who are all for it and think these are the best decisions. Also, who's to say there isn't a chance for VaderFan to come back? Other members have been reinstated after a time. It is a difficult job to moderate, a voluntary task that takes a lot of time out of the hobby we enjoy and joined this site to share with others. It is hard to keep a balance between letting people have all the fun they could want and keeping a forum readable and use-able for the majority. Someone might think it is fun to post non-sense everywhere they can reach, a whole lot more would find that aggravating. Here's where I am stuck, while responding seems to have been interpreted as belittling (I am slightly offended, I was trying for an educated and explained reasoning, ah well. ASD and the internet do a real number on tone) if the suggestion did not gain a reply then it would have been ignored, which is also an issue? Some suggestions and requests have been taken into account in decision making on running the site, but every suggestion isn't going to be met with agreement from the site runners. I think by the fact the userbase is quite large and the complaints minimal points to a site that is fun for most.

You know this is a private site not a public body? Voting is all noble and wonderful in theory but in practice it ends up being a popularity contest, a chance to troll or putting power into the hands of those who are far from capable to use said power effectively and morally. Honestly, after last year I am surprised anyone believes in democracy in its current form is fit for purpose. On this site, to vote in moderators would be even worse, as not only would it be a huge popularity contest, it would be difficult to police and maintain fair play (You should try running a MOC contest with voting in it!) and some given moderator powers would be bound to abuse them, it would also make the dynamic shift and make running the site harder (See: trying to form a government). Who knows how much time would be taken campaigning instead of staff getting down to actually running the site, dealing with problems and planning fun stuff for members. As such, users who are trustworthy and have shown themselves to be so are appointed as regulators or moderators according to needs on the site. Then, as a whole, we try and run a place that the majority agree is a good forum to use. Those who often have complaints are those who have often run afoul of the rules and requests made of them as users/members of this site.

Guys. Media belongs in the media section. The place we made so fans could talk about LEGO media without cluttering up the set discussion threads? -
Okay, someone bumped a seven year old thread to advertise that they have a rare set. I've got my eye on you. If anyone is interested, I am getting the original figures slowly when they turn up on Ebay in good condition. It would look better for the set and restore it to how it once should have been.
