  1. The first question I'll let Aanchir answer. EDIT: maybe he doesn't have to, because I see they are in his reference file. But the date in his first post is old however For the second one I can answer - unfortunately LDD does not permit the addition of any custom decorations, so what is available from the LDD GUI, plus the ones Aanchir is posting in his reference files, are the ones we got.
  2. Good to see you back in business again Prateek. It's been a while
  3. Got a mail today that I was asked to post here: What a nice surprise
  4. From what I understand the Linux installation works fine. The problematic version was a Windows install.
  5. This is the weirdest thing I've seen. I just can't figure out under what circustances this could happen. Also, it seems unlikely that this has anything to do with your graphics card. Another thing that puzzles me is that you are running 4.1.8, but I can't see the virtual "studs" on the scene floor, just a grid pattern like was in the older LDD versions.
  6. @Kamos: I moved your post about wanting bricks here: http://www.eurobricks.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=41233
  7. Hello, and welcome to the forum Interesting situation. I've never heard of it before. Can you upload some screenshots of the situation?
  8. Great build BrickWild. But please do remember to attach the LXF-file. Only MOCs with LXF-files attached can go into the LDD forum. Otherwise they go into their respective theme forum. Thanks
  9. Nathanaël Kuipers Concept Car Review Nathanaël Kuipers is by many regarded as one of the best Technics designers out there. He left TLG some years ago, but many Technic fans would probably love to see him back at LEGO. Anyway, Nathanaël has now released his latest model, the Concept Car, for which you can now buy the instructions. EB member Anio did just that and has made a review of the model here.
  10. Interesting idea. Would you mind sharing the LXF-file. It would make it easier to look into your technique.
  11. Yeah, the 2617 and 2642 plates seems pretty messed up. I can attach a 2x4 brick in the corners, but not a 2x4 plate.
  12. I was just told that it will be added back in the next brickset database update, that hopefully may be early this fall (at least we don't have to wait until April 2012!). There was some kind of problem with it. Because it is a composite part with a rubber band and a wheel it should have been a "merged part". Even got a picture of it: EDIT: I'm moving this reply from the "wanted bricks" to the "4.1.8 release" topic since the wheel was just temporarily removed from LDD.
  13. Wertyboy, three problems here: 1) bumping and old topic. 2) Using capitals is very rude as it signals shouting 2) Your langauage suggest you are too young to be at Eurobricks, where we have an 18 year age limit. I'll PM you about this. Now about the shiroitenshi post, I don't know if that will still work, and how relevant it is for LDD.
  14. Hm, not sure I remember since I was fiddling around a lot. First I took away all the bricks so that I could position the flex-rod in 32013 (i.e. also removing 32034). Then I positioned the other end of the flex-bar in the 2780 up in the roof. This tooks some moving the mouse around and finaly it snapped. Then...I can't really remember, but I think I nudged it slowly in place in the 32034.
  15. Yes, I agree, it does seem illegal. Wow, that was a nasty one - can you upload the LXF?
  16. Can you attach the LXF to the post, for quick download.
  17. Hi I suppose you could use "new" colors, i.e. bricks that has never been produced in that color, but maybe we should try to keep it to "produced colors". But at the same time, if you have something really cool - post it like you want Great. Just design something and post it in this forum. TLG will be looking here. Hi, I attached to this post.
  18. LDD design help needed A mail dropped in today with an unusual, but interesting request. Apperantly there is a project ongoing about a new in-store digital experience at TLG, and now they need help from LDD users to create some digital models. So if you are into LDD (or even if you're not), and want to help our favorite supplier of ABS plastic, read more here
  19. I got a mail today from some guys working with a new in-store digital experience at TLG. It seems they are working with some kind of new thing for one of the brand stores in the US, and now they need our help to create some LDD models. Seems like a nice little challange, doesn't it? If you want to help out, whip together some rocks, boulders and other natural elements of various sizes and post in this topic together with the LXF-file.
  20. I've had a few crashes too when working with models with 50.000+ bricks. Turning down all graphics settings usually helps some.
  21. This is not the time or place for that kind of comment Specially calling me bitching for doing my job as a moderator pointing out some errors to a new member.
  22. Welcome to the forum kamos I never heard of this bug, so good find. Seems to be a collision box error. I'll report it to TLG, and hopefully it will be fixed.
