Well, I don't think I have price ranted recently... so is it safe to say I apologize on the behalf of America? When we Americans see prices, we see it as $30 and 20 euros, so we think you're paying less, but when you do the math, 20 euros is $35-40! And I have no clue about the exchange rates of other countries... but sorry about that too? Anyway, can anyone tell me, as Darthperson asked before, what store is the Swamp Speeder exclusive to?
-
Last years? Then it is so! There will be a Cad Bane speeder! Possibly the Coruscant Taxi, or maybe a bike or ship that will come in later in the Clnoe Wars show?
-
This is news... but I don't know if we can trust this site. It looks pretty valid though! So we have 2 Cad Bane sets. Lego's only a year late. I'm assuming that the Star Destroyer is the Walmart thing, but this is another confirmation of the AT-AT!
-
I know... that's the point. There aren't supposed to be speeders in gunships, and there aren't supposed to be walkers in the turbo tank (unless there are) so if Lego puts in one, why not the other?
-
Yes, but since when has the LAAT/V appeared in CW? And the Gunship we have carries a speeder.

So, as far as I know, there are four types of phases to go through with Lego. Building slumps, or building blocks ( ) where you can't build or finish a MOC at all. There are building craves, where you just want to build all the time and can't stop building, no matter how horrid your creations are! There are buying craves, where you just keep buying official Lego sets because you can't build anything on your own and you need to build something, so you buy stuff. That can also happen when a lot of stuff you want is out. And finally, there is the time when you're desperately searching for inspiration, when you are ready to build something, and do a good job at it, but you don't know what. Everyone of these phases can be mixed, matched, or divided. Right now, I'm in a building slump. I want to build something Star Wars and motorized, with minifigs. I have the inspiration, yet I can't build it, or buy it. So I'm kind of stuck right now. Anyway, how do you overcome any phase where you need to build but you can't, or you're overbuilding and nothing good comes out? How do you cope with two jittery hands that long to click bricks together, but are just too shaky?

Minis everywhere! This is a great new addition to your collection. I love the use of those tool thingies as guns. It's brilliant! I really hope you don't break your models after you've posted them, because I'd love to see your whole collections!

Now that the Swamp Speeder is available, I don't think we need to keep dwelling on it. Why don't we talk about summer rumors, such as will we be getting any motorized sets for 2010? Most likely not, but it is a slight possibility that the Turbo Tank could be motorized. I wouldn't think that would happen, but when I do get my turbo tank, I'll definitely motorize it! Do you think the tank has a place to store the AT-RT?

Wow! That is great! Quite a lot of pink/chrome silver and gold custom minifig parts! The gate is huge! I don't know about the ships, I like them, but one I think is Harry Potter and the other looks like a modded Brickbeard's Bounty. Either way, this is A+!
-
Possibly, but look at that helmet! The mouth printing is the new Stormie grilled moth pattern!
-
What a professional custom! When you say sculpted, do you mean hand sculpted! Everything looks so real! The printing is great, but the hair attached to the helmet is awesome!
-
Nice! I've always wanted to make custom pieces, But oh well, I just buy them instead. Could you provide a side view? It could work well as one of those ancient upside-down hair cut thingies... I don't know what they are called...

Wow this is a great MOC! I'd have to say I love the hole where the rat/mouse and castle/pirate guys are. The minifigs are great, and the detail and building style is awesome! I have as many white claws as you do, but that's certainly a lot of brown cones you've got!

MOC: Dr. Inferno's Getaway: Part One
Darth Legolas replied to Aanchir's topic in LEGO Action and Adventure Themes
I simply love it! The very first picture reminds me of a real car! But opening trunk and hood, with a blunt shooter! This is real Lego set quality! The details are great, and the Dr. Inferno symbol on the trunk is perfectly placed! It reminds of the Batmobile, for obvious reasons! Welcome to Eurobricks! -
Non-PDF instructions for 7256? Anakin's Episode III fighter.

Go for it! You can probably get indexed. It would be really helpful. -

Alrighty then! Now on to the next great step, printing! Luckily, I can do that myself. -

Now I feel bad. I just found the right click-save link as button. I had to download it twice but now it's fully loaded. I guess that means I owe you one! I really hope it didn't take too much to convert that. I'll know for next time... Thanks Big Cam, and everyone else. EDIT: Topic can be closed now! -
Well that helps... but could you be a little more specific? There are a lot of circular smooth lego pieces.

Non-PDF instructions for 7256? Anakin's Episode III fighter.
Darth Legolas replied to Darth Legolas's topic in LEGO Star Wars
Well, I don't want to put you through any trouble, but I do have an idea on how to fix my problem. I just don't know how to do it. Every time I open a PDF on the internet, it stops and then freezes my computer. I just tried with the link you gave me (thanks by the way!) and the same thing happened. So is there a way to open/download the document on to my computer so I can open it with a program and not the internet? It will probably work better that way. What would I click? -
How do I make a Brickshelf folder public?
Darth Legolas replied to Mörs's topic in General LEGO Discussion
I'll being hypocritical and say this: have patience. It rarely takes more than two days. If you look away from Brickshelf for a while, it will be there when you get back probably! Also, considering you have uploaded the pictures, you can deeplink them by copying the image location after clicking until the background is white. -
Everybody! I'm desperately searching for a non-PDF (they're too slow) scan of Anakin's JSF and Vulture Droid! It would make my day if I could have it soon, as I plan on building the set this New Years eve, although I don't have the instructions! This set, for the record: I couldn't find them on Peeron!

Well I'd have to say I like how the helmets on the AT-AT pilots rise up a little. On the actual helmet there was a spot for neck articulation for the driver, so they could move their head back, which sort of looked like a black rubber collar connected to the helmet, making the helmet totally accurate. It's sort of like Clone helmets, the black is meant to show through. On the subject of the set, of course, I have it and really like it. It doesn't have as many pieces as the old one, but still matches it in playability. A pilot instead of Kit would have been better in my opinion, but oh well. I did replace him with an old pilot, and put him in the gunner seat, and I also added controls to the whole ship. All in all, it was great though. One thing I'd like to do is compare this with the old one, which I can't because my old one is scattered in hundreds of pieces all over my place.

My Lego catalog just came and it has the Republic swamp speeder in it. The guns turn when the engines turn, as said before, but I can explain it. Underneath the speeder there are technic beams, and when the engine is pushed, they are pulled, and because they are linked to the guns, they move. It looks like a great set, and because it's in the catalog now, it might be out soon! Apparently Luke's landspeeder has wheels beneath it too? That's what the magazine said. I haven't seen those picutres yet. I'll have to go back and check the review.

The wings are great! This is a nice style of building where even though the MOC uses mostly basic pieces, the whole thing looks so real. The feet look a little small, but at the same time I couldn't suggest anything else as they'd compromise the perfect legs!
