  1. So, here's a new PF question. Right now, on one of my PF batter boxes I have only one M-motor. That one motor is turning so many things that it's running really slowly. I can't add an XL-Motor because I have absolutely no room. So, If I add a second M-motor, will the power of each motor speed divide in half? I don't know how it works. Does the battery box give it's full power to the thing hooked up to it, or just enough so it works? I really need both to be working at at least the speed the single one is now. Thanks!
  2. Well, the funniest revelation I ever had about Lego was that Ogel was Lego spelled backwards! Tsk tsk, Lego naming a villain after themselves. Although, I just found out that Octan was Lego's own gas company. I always though that Octan was some European oil owner that I never heard of!
  3. Wow! Great new Minis! I'll have to get them both. The use of flickfires for guns seems very innovative. The X-wing looks better than the Nu-Shuttle though. Does anyone know how the guns attach to the poles on the Nu-Shuttle? It looks like a lightsaber plunger bar and a joystick magically stuck together. Perhaps there is another piece, but from the angle it's hard to tell. EDIT: Perhaps these will be exclusives that will be released to go with the old UK only minis?
  4. I found them yesterday at ToysRus, one box with a copyright from 2009.
  5. Not really... here are the compatibility with Knex photos: The pieces are really different. The plastic is the only thing that's the same.
  6. So, I guess this could go here. I don't want to be advertising, but I'd like to note a new company called Uberstix (or at least I think it's new...) that is able to work with Lego and other large building companies. In fact, the box specifically advertises it's compatibility with Lego and mentions it often. I'd just love to build a Lego and Uberstix blend. Here's a picture: The connector/slidey holes on the "quarks" fit right in with regular Lego bars. See? A whole page about Uberstix and Lego: Here! Unfortunately, they also mention megabloks, but they talk more about Lego.
  7. They are both. There's an obvious difference between the ARC minifigs and the Freeco Bike. But it's really odd, some sets have normal minifigs like the ARC and the Swamp Speeder, but the A-5 Juggernaut coming out this year is more than definitely CW.
  8. Guys, this is Rockoh's! Cavegod is GOING to build something like it! I'd love to see it as you go along!
  9. Once again, not new at all. I think I have some 2004 minifigs with square shoulders. It started in 2007 at the most, but very likely before then. I don't think we need to dwell on this subject. On Topic: What on Earth will Lego do if they somehow renew the Star Wars contract and it comes time fore the anniversary of ROTJ? They'll have nothing new to put out. This is really scary as it seems Lego is so sure Star Wars will be ending that they are planning to sell so much by 2011.
  10. Well, no matter what the set will be new, as it will have an updated build to the 2003 one, but non-motorized. It's unlikekly to waste time on the difference. There was a huge update from the Hoth AT-ST to the Endor AT-ST, but AT-AT's have always been the saem, I think, The only difference were the Republic AT-AT's. We may see some Rebel's, but it seems this AT-AT is to go right in with the Imperial Base.
  11. Somebody please submit that to failblog! It is sad though, the temporary end of pirates is near. It's always sad to see a theme end (unless it stunk.) To think that could happen to Star Wars!
  12. The box design. There have been torsos like that since at least 2004. I don't know why. Both are used though. Probably. Why would they redesign it otherwise?
  13. Barely. There are just a few different details here and there, which is great for me, because I like continuity! The new slave 1 looks a bit bigger than the older ones. Maybe some new room inside?
  14. I agree with everything you said there. I'm surprised Lego hasn't released a restaurant set yet for Lego City. Maybe they have, but I don't pay attention. I type this as I bight into a Subway Sandwich, by the way.
  15. But then where's the explanation as to how he had all of this previously correct information? This is getting off topic, but both Sok and Rockinkurt have some contact with Lego!
  16. For your question- Yes. We've been asking for one forever. A great chance for new Jedi and a few Clones. What minifigs does the AT-AT have. Does it have a fold out back for speeder bikes?
  17. Well I'm half and half on it, this is my opinion: I really want to see it, and I hear it is a great movie, but when you look at the facts: -The plot has been used over and over since the 1940s. Guy tries to stop people but comes to like them/humans killing aliens for energy. That's practically the plot of Lego Mars Mission and King Kong together! -The ships are remastered Halo ships, undoubtedly. -That planet, Pandora... it looks suspiciously like Felucia to me. But besides that, it still seems to be a pretty great movie, so I'll go see it this weekend.
  18. Well when I first found this topic, I though you were talking about the (in my opinion) awful movie. I made a catchphrase for whenever people talk about the movie, but I don't think it is site appropriate. Anyway, ghosts and aliens and such, I think all of the electric heaters in my house are cursed. I know it sounds stupid, but the heat vent in my bathroom makes strange shrieky noises that almost sound like they are talking to you when you turn it on.
  19. Rockinkurt, it almost seems like you're bleeding leaked info. Thanks for providing it though! It's nice to hear all this! Could you provide more details on the AT-AT. I'd love to hear about it! The Endor base with shuttle will be an absolute must buy! It could be huge! I've always been trying to make one myself. And a new mini Easter line? I also like the sound of a new Pod Racer and Cloud City... but the thing about it ending... but that's for another topic.
  20. Here comes your MOC expert badge and possible front paging! This is a beautiful MOC! The hotel astounds me! I love the park, and the placing of everything is great! You captured a real scene so well! EDIT: Frontpaged, told you.
  21. So do you know anything new about the AT-AT, the Midi Star Destroyer, Cad Bane's speeder, or the imperial shuttle?
  22. So, what do you do when you receive printed pieces with errors? I usually don't mind if they are minor, like the common R2-head alignment error, but here are some that are kind of annoying: On my new arc fighter, one of the new white tiles, the smooth 2X4, had black, gray, and red random markings on it, as if some ink splotched on the piece, which shouldn't have been printed at all. It looked really ugly, and I still haven't fixed it. Also on my old Anakin's yellow starfighter, the cockpit has a black smudge of ink on it, as well as some of the gray is missing. So what do you do with printing errors? Some are really annoying, while some are perfectly tolerable. I'm not going to do anything with Anakin's fighter because I'd probably just ruin it further, while I'll trie some of that Brasso stuff on the Arc plate.
  23. There's a huge difference between a sticker sheet and a minifig, they're not even close. Losing a piece of paper is an honest mistake, especially a tiny one like Vader's sticker sheet. I bet if you flap out the pages of your instructions you'll find it right there. A minifig missing has to be a huge error, or thievery.
  24. Interesting that a bunch of new set rumors come out now. An Imp shuttle... that'll be a must buy.
