  1. I'm really glad I could help and I feel very happy that you liked it!
  2. Thanks for bringing this topic on surface CGH! Amazing creation! Great design, Lots of rooms and activities and personally, I take my hat off just for the briefing auditorium! Unbelievable idea and excellent execution! It's not something you see in Police buildings MOCs everyday. A great BRAVO from me!
  3. Since I can see that aviation is something you really like, (well, excluding your name, your avatar-sigfig and the airplane and helicopter sets above your city, it's not THAT obvious... ) you could name it something like Icaria or Ikaria, named after the first man who conquered the skies, Icarus. There is an island here in Greece actually that has that name because it is believed that Icarus fell near the island. That's all mythology of course. Ohhh, listen to me.... I sound like a history teacher... Sorry...
  4. Easy to remember since it was my only castle set during my childhood. The 6049 Viking Voyager: A spear paradise.
  5. Here's a picture I took about a year ago with my sig-fig having just returned from fishing.
  6. I didn't notice that in the first place... I guess comics is not his only hobby! Try to get it Rick, that's my advice (I'm stating the obvious you'll correctly say...) It's the best creator house in my opinion.
  7. Great as usual! Very nice building BlueBard! It's great that you've added a balcony on the back side of it making the building to look great from both sides. About the piece you used for the lamp next to the couch, is it the round one (a.k.a mysterious liquid) from the truck and forklift set? Great use! The happy couple and the peeping tom together with your comment really made me laugh! Thanks for the photos and keep the expansion going!
  8. First of all a great thanks for these wonderful photos Teddy! Great fleet! I just can't stop looking at the photos to be honest! I only have the BSB and the BB from those (Carribean Clipper, you won't get away! ) and I will DEFINITELY buy the Imperial Flagship, especially after seeing the comparison photos! Man, isn't it HUGE! I'm gonna be a little dissapointed at first, seeing my BSB dwarfed, but I'll get over it! Thanks again for the great photos!
  9. Bought the 7637 Farm today. The first LEGO of 2010. A great start!
  10. Very funny video G.A! The animation turned out very good and my favorite part was when the two minifigs were moving alongside the ship while fighting. Well made! The end was hilarious! I like these kind of endings in small funny clips. "Banana, the ultimate weapon!" Great looking ship as well!
  11. Very nice review Legoliner Pilot. I still can't make up my mind whether I like this set or not and how much. I think that it's one of those sets that you start fully appreciate it once you have it in your hands. The use of doors is a very good detail, so is the green trash can. I like the face that it's used in the minifig. I don't have much of this kind and it's an extra reason for me to buy it. Who am I kidding? I'm gonna buy it nevertheless.... Thanks for the review!

    My city story

Very impressive alex! Your downtown looks excellent and the addition of the trees and the small triangular "soil/ground" sections are great! The statue at the center of the roundabout is pretty impressive too! Seeing the overhead picture in the beggining, it looked like a clock to be honest! I love the interiors! The photocopy machine looks very realistic and what I like the most is the pub! It is one of the best I have seen and really gives you the feeling of an actual pub atmosphere! The colours (the overall brown and the green glasses look amazing), the stools, the glasses hanging from the top and the way you've designed the whole place is just beautiful! Excellent work again and keep expanding yor city!
  13. Very nice MOC sens! The design of the building is very good and the fact that you can display four smarties without the building being too large is a big plus. The display cases are exactly how they should be and the office section is very well built. I also like the colour selection you've made and the addition of green. Now you have an extra motive of buying the new cargo train I guess. These display cases need to be filled!
  14. Excellent review as usual The Cobra. I think that it's an OK set for a promo. Nothing too fancy or innovative but a vehicle (of any kind) is always welcomed in a collection. These kind of vehicles (not "closed", lack of doors and details) were something usual back in the '80s and it was OK. I have bought two copies of the 7241 and if you ask me, it's a very good impulse set taking into consideration the price and the fact that it's an impulse set. It has a better design and some better parts but the again as The Cobra mentioned, it's the regular/official set. So, even if I had seen the promo set being sold as an impulse, I would have bought a copy of it. Thanks for the review! You just brought back memories from my childhood! Ovomaltini.... (that was the way we were pronouncing it here in Greece.)
  15. Now, that's a great BrickBeard's Bounty! I was a little dissapointed when I first built the original and this MOD is how it should have been. Having an actual deck, being longer and having more cannons. Great work Ivan!
  16. Great work! The white colour on the ship makes it look fantastic and the addition of four more cannons is just excellent! I kinda like these kind of MOCs/MODs on BSBs because they combine both the original model to some extend and the creativity of the builder. Thanks for sharing your beautiful creation with us Aquila!
  17. I couldn't stop laughing when I read this! Especially after seeing the kind of smile he has!
  18. Yep! Back then, I was refering to this piece as the "smooth/sleek track" and the outside as the "toothy track". I was 10...
  19. Great set! I think that this was one of the last sets I bought before entering the dark ages (early '90s) and I can still remember how happy I was. Simple, classic design with great minifigs and with some very interesting pieces. Too bad I'm missing the two big curved glass panels and the waiter minifig... At least I still have the saucepan, a piece that impressed me the most back then. Overall, an excellent addition to any layout (if you check some LEGO catalogues layouts you'll get the picture ), and an all-time favorite of mine! Thanks for the very nice review and the memories.
  20. Great work Badsneaker! I was deceived in the beggining since I thought that it was shorter than the other modulars. Nice colour scheme (although I'm not a fan of lime green) and I also like the colours you've used for the pavement. These two colours look great together in my opinion. The entrance is great and the vitrine looks very realistic. Thanks for the pictures!
  21. It's an inside curved rail from the 4.5V and 12V train era. (a.k.a Grey Era.) LINK
  22. That was just great and funny! I am now more than sure that TLG's designers actually had James May in mind when they were designing that hair piece. Seriously.
  23. Thanks for the link! Some great creations in there! The ones with the storm trooper at the beach look great!
  24. Welcome to Eurobricks! Have lots of fun and enjoy yout time in here. (I'm sure you will. ) This is a moment to enjoy!
  25. Happy Birthday Capt. Kirk! Enjoy your special day with your fellow pirates! I felt the chill just by reading it...
