That is great news for Pirate fans especially

Wow - that is just amazing- Incredible build, and incredible idea. I must say, that these last few days of the competition have been very exciting for us all. Good luck in the competition, you stand a great chance IMO edit: I totally forgot to congratulate you on your storyline for this entry - It's really great, and along with your building techniques and many details, this is probably my favourite entry this year

Thanks for looking at my very first MOC Grimmy - welcome to Eurobricks - enjoy your stay. I really like to browse through all the indexes in here. And people are really nice, too It's a great place
-
Wow... I'm glad I didn't spend time and money building a "Large" entry - that would have been a complete waste
-
Both review and set is of an excellent quality. Thank you for showing me this set in so many details
-
I really want to enter this raffle, so I'll have to come up with something before the deadline. I hadn't noticed this raffle, so it was a good thing CopMike made me aware of its existence excellent initiative

Agree - but they removed it. I can't see it anywhere - why is that?

That's pretty awesome I really love how you've integrated the new and old forts :) excellent job -
The Pirate Shipwreck Hideout Has LEGO decided to make this set "un-Limited"? I can't see anywhere that it is "Limited" - and I'm almost positive that it was when it was first released a year ago... I know that all the Pirate/Soldier sets are limited in the sense that LEGO will stop production this year, but they removed the "Limited" tag from this set on the official homepage http://shop.lego.com/ByTheme/Product.aspx?...cn=554&d=70 Do you guys know anything?

Even though I'm participating in the Creative Critc anymore, I need to say, that I'm very impressed with your updatede entry. It's really a huge difference, and it just shows why the Creative Critic is such a magnificent idea

SlyOwl - you're so fuckin insane!!! I love this MOC, it's one of my favourites of yours - excellent excellent work

Crazy similarities between pirate I and pirate II torsos

I also really love the new line of Pirates. I really hope to win the PTVII contest in the small category, as I don't have the Pirate Shipwreck Hideout -
Fantasy Creatures in Historic Themes

I like it - but the important thing to remember is, that this is a toy for kids, and they LOVE fantasy. I say good job TLG -
Crazy similarities between pirate I and pirate II torsos
Lorentzen replied to badboytje88's topic in LEGO Pirates
The new torsos are definitely updates of the old ones. I like the idea very much Do you think it's a dumb idea or are you dissapointed in some way? You sound like it, badboytje88 -
Oh dear god what an incredible pleasure it was to browse through your pictures for this MOC. It is absolutely amazing

SlyOwl you never cease to impress me. You always create new inventive ideas for your MOCs, and I always enjoy looking at your MOCs. I hope one day to be about 25% as good as you and I'm already 29 yrs old... I must get going then
-
To the staff: You can ignore my "creative critique" for this year's competition, as I've been too busy for way too long. I would have loved to keep going on in this part of the contest, but time does not allow me to do so

*goes to change underpants

I remember when I first saw your large entry for the PTVII contest; I loved everthing about it, except your use of all those round 1x1 bricks for the house walls. At some point I must have changed my mind, because I actually really really like how it makes the church in this MOC look even more realistic than what we're used to. The entire MOC is incredible. I love to browse through all the pictures
-
I have browsed your pictures over and over again. What an excellent MOC. I love it
-
There should definitely be a seperate tag for MOC Geniuses SlyOwl - you constantly amaze me with your talent. You come up with so many clever ideas everetime you build a new MOC. I am in awe of your skills with LEGO bricks.
-
If I know myself I'll probably change a few things anyway I know that I'll take much better pictures before the end of the competition for example

Sorry to bother everyone again I've made some edits a few times, and this should be my final version, unless I get some really great advice or come up with a very cool new idea. So the following pictures show the final version of this MOC. Thanks for all the advice it has helped me very very much. I hope you enjoy my entry for this competition. I've changed the fireplace a bit, removing the weird green cheese slopes at the top, and in front of the fireplace I've placed some dark grey tiles/a grill, instead of wooden planks that could catch fire I've added a small stool (the one I used in the very first edition of this MOC) Lastly I've given up on the whole photoshopping idea and just lightened a few trans yellow cheese slopes in the fireplace.
