It's indeed a nice vig. There are quite a few clever things in it, like the hairpiece fore the mob, and the birds. I also like the green hands in the plants. Small details like that add a lot to a MOC. Well done

Mine is this one: I'd never seen it before..it's not something I would really like to have but it's a funny little car I would be happier with a Pirates set or another historic theme, but I can live with this.

Seems like JD takes too long. But time is everything (and time is money) So I'm rooting for Oky Wan now.

The Doctor Jones killed in his bathroom
Admiral Croissant replied to pif500's topic in LEGO Licensed
Only a tragic hand out of the water The broken window is a nice touch, and the bathtub and using the hat for a vase is clever as well. It's quite dramatic but also quite funny =) -
Yes, with 3000 bricks you can already make some very good creations, so that's no problem. And joining the discussions will probably make your love for Lego -and your number of bricks- even bigger (especially when you win contests ) Have a good time here.

I already commented on your MOC. I like the history theme as well, so hopefully you'll post many more good MOC's there Welcome to Eurobricks!

Better late than never That's exactly what we want, people read some posts here and become a member themselves eventually. Welcome to Eurobricks and have a good time here!

At a distance this looks very realistic. And if you look closely, you can see so many different techniques..magnificent! Every small detail is worked out perfectly with lots of different kinds of bricks. Great job

The best LEGO sailing ships (minifig illusion scale)
Admiral Croissant replied to Bonaparte's topic in LEGO Pirates
That was a real eye-opener to me! I'd never heard of him, but his ships are very nice, especially the steamship. The whaler is also great, with a very ingenious whaleboat made by glueing 2 half boat fronts together And I had to laugh about his 'group': I'm new Seriously, he should start making ship MOC's again! -
Great building. I don't know anything about the dark elves but it's a nice MOC for sure I especially like the gate and the detailed part just above it. There are many small window parts and other coves with arches, which are really nice. I also like the top of the building, it's both chaotic and harmonious, which I think, really fits the theme. Good job

Very nice Jameson! I like the colourscheme, and all the different techniques. Usually I don't like seeing studs in a SNOT-like building like this, but the studs line just above the door is a nice detail in this MOC. Good job

MOC: Ye Olde Country Cockfight
Admiral Croissant replied to Ye Olde Pirate's topic in LEGO Historic Themes
No, I don't like it either! Chickens are cool, not chicken fights (but in your MOC they are kina funny ) -
MOC: Ye Olde Country Cockfight
Admiral Croissant replied to Ye Olde Pirate's topic in LEGO Historic Themes
Haha nice! Chickens are cool I remember seeing a program at Animal Planet in which they punished people who had chickens for fighting games. But it's a nice MOC, an original idea and you did a good job on the birds -
Beautiful! This building has a perfect and very realistic harmony of the stone- and wood parts of the house. It's amazingly detailed and it's great that you used both dark and reddish brown. Very good job. Again.

That fish is just the most cruel punishment I've ever seen! Nice MOC! The tower is a bit plain, but the tiled torture chamber is very good. The gallow is great and it's clever how you did that with the handcuffed guy, a good new way of securing someone Well done!

On the side galleries, I can still see a lot of studs. I think it will look better with tiles on it. But perhaps you're already planning to do that. You could also try to make more of a pattern of yellow plates on the side galleries because it looks a little bit chaotic now. For the rest I totally agree with CGH, the shape is very good, and I like how the stern is protruding a little. Finally, you could also try to make the balcony only on the stern (so not on the side galleries) just to see how it looks. Good job so far, keep it up

W.I.P. Light Frigate (still without a name)
Admiral Croissant replied to Matteo1130's topic in Pirate MOCs
You can see a few Dutch frigates here: My link And these two: Those were the best I could find. Hope it helps. -
Nice job on the torso's, and ofcourse on the ship itself! The Mayflower is a beautiful ship, and it's great they made a replica of it. I like the fact that your ship has an interior, but if you would build it in real, I think you should use some more different colours/types of brown. But overall, it looks very good. Next time you make a ship, please post it in the Pirates forum, that's the best place for sailiing ships

I think that's all there is to say about this small MOC. And the trees are clever too Nice MOC.

MOC: Christopher Columbus Discovers the New World
Admiral Croissant replied to Ye Olde Pirate's topic in Pirate MOCs
I'm proud to see 'my' head on Columbus' body You've made a nice vignette, and the crucifix is a nice detail indeed. Onfortunately the old man himself never knew he had discovered a new continent Good job. -
Beautiful MOC It looks very cosy. I also like the stairs to the house, because they are not perfect and all of the same shape, it looks very realistic this way. The flowers on the roof are a nice touch as well. But will they ever find the gold? Good job!

Of course not! Everyone would recognize me! I'm earning money for being a spy whilst all I do is (of course) just eating croissants =)
