I think the first picture is the best one. And if you place the man with the flag more to the right (with changing the rock a little) so that you can see him, it'll be excellent. You made some clever use of elastics. And is there a reason for the commander's body to be floating a bit over his legs? Otherwise that's also a small point you can change Still, very good job!

They sure look very smooth. Some pictures of the 'real' molds would also be nice. I already bought the 'old' periwig from another fan of lego at Legoworld in Zwolle this yearm and even that one looks very good. [bloggedcp][/bloggedcp]

W.I.P. Light Frigate (still without a name)
Admiral Croissant replied to Matteo1130's topic in Pirate MOCs
I agree. And perhaps change the green/yellow lanterns for orange ones. Normal yellow ones are quite rare and the ones you use look a little bit too modern. -
Nice MOD. I like the fact that it's made in the same colours and in the same style as the prison tower. The other buildings are a bit different but ofcourse they suit the theme as well.

Like the others said, the first picture sure looks very forest-ish. The other MOC is also nice. I like the 'bow shop' design with the brown arches in it and the part where the archer is standing on the roof. And though it might be a bit too modern, your custom bow also seems very nice. Good use of the sextant there

Excellent again! I like how they are staring at each other on the first picture But I wonder how humiliating it is to JD as he really seems to like Hermione

Didn't you say you had changed the spanker sail to the upper yard? Anyway, outside of that it's a very nice ship. I like the interior and the rigging a lot. The brown tiles look great as well, just as the capstan -does it work? [bloggedcp][/bloggedcp]

Hilarious We have been waiting for a long time, but it was worth it. I like the 'censored' beam and the exaggarated facial expressions of Oky. And now let's wait for the answer (and probably not too long because Oky said he had some in store already).

MOC: Spooky Minifigure Display
Admiral Croissant replied to WesternOutlaw's topic in Special LEGO Themes
That's a nice display MOC. Also smart to keep some free spaces in it. Maybe the original ghost has indeed yellow hands but I think you can better give him white hands. But that's just a small detail -
You could do that, but actually I agree with BC that this ship is worthy of a new topic of its own. Makes things also less confusing when we'd like to blog it

Nice! My crew has got used to all the crates of croissants I always take with me, but on other ships it's always a different story.. Anyway, the pictures are very clear again, the sceneries are nice and I like the humor (like the new name and new first mate ) Well done!

Great that you're intending to give it more of a curve As for the gunline, I think white and tan are the best options. In this case, they were usually painted white, but after a while on the sea it would look more like tan. So it's just what you like the most. Personally, I think tan will look better with blue gunports. And the masts. It's hard to say from these pictures, but you could use the 'relations'(?) of this picture: As you can see, there's almost 1,5 times as much space between the main and fore mast as between the main and mizzen. And there's about half as much space between mizzen and stern, as between mizzen and main mast. Good luck! Looks very nice already with those lanterns!

Very nice MOC! The boat really seems to move a little on the waves. The lighthouse is also nice. I like the roof, the lamp and fishes inside and the seagulls. What is that creature next to the lighthouse (made of a hairpiece) supposed to be? [bloggedcp][/bloggedcp]

W.I.P. Light Frigate (still without a name)
Admiral Croissant replied to Matteo1130's topic in Pirate MOCs
Yes I think blue will look realistic. Dark red is also an option, but it could be too dark so that it almost looks black. You could try a part in normal red and in blue and decide what looks best or let us show both options. 10 studs is certainly worth a try. The Vesta's sustain is also 10 studs and that looks quite good. -
I missed this one, but it's definitely worth a post! I think you've put as many details in it as possible on such a small ship. Really clever design.

I think I prefer redcoats with white legs instead of blue ones. But I also see a pirate holding a grey sextant. That's very nice. There's also a very short knight and a woman with hinging legs..but they seem different than lego legs. Wonder what that could be.. Anyway, they al seem nice, but unfortunately I don't spot any new parts.

W.I.P. Light Frigate (still without a name)
Admiral Croissant replied to Matteo1130's topic in Pirate MOCs
And so do I! I'm not sure about the green line, perhaps making it just black with yellow will look more realistic. And it seems like the part where the figurehead is attached to, is protruding a bit too much, but it could be due to the camera angle. But outside of that I think this is becoming a very nice frigate. Good shape, good colours, good arrangement, etc. Keep it up! -
Hello and welcome to our forum! And Merry Christmas ofcourse! We can always use some good reviewers

Wonderfoul! They all look fantastic. Maybe it's an idea to change the paws a little bit so you don't use the square brick there, but outside of that they look great. The 'Fythold' dragon is my favourite. Especially on the first picture he looks very powerful. I also like the fact that they are all so mobile. Well done

Thanks a lot. I can see a lot more on those pictures! I spot some new pirates torso's, the already existing Admiral's daughter's torso (as it seems) and I believe I spot this hairpiece I also see that ball made of bones. With a bit of luck it's really made of bone pieces. I believe there's also a golden spear (!) and a funny headpiece of one of Davy Jones's sailors with the shell-head. Can't wait to see the other sets!

A Year with tin7 creations (2010)
Admiral Croissant replied to tin7_creations's topic in Minifig Customisation Workshop
That's a very large collection. 2010 was a productive year They all look great. I don't know which one I like the best, but sure those pokémon and most of the hairpieces are the real masterpieces of this year. I hope to see many great minifigs in the next year. Do you have any plans for minifig series already? -
That's one of my resolutions every year but somehow I never manage to fulfill it Right now the only resolutions I can think of are being more active on facebook, as that's what so many people do and I need to catch up And on this forum I'll try to be more active, and also more active in other forums (previously I was almost just active in the pirates forum).

Welcome to Eurobricks Pompommini! (funny but difficult name ) Enjoy your time here. The HP-forum is always very active and there are a few contests going on at the moment so I think that won't be a problem!

Nice comic. The story seems good so far. Looking forward to the next chapter. And the eagle is a masterpiece

Wasn't she supposed to be locked up in a tower? or was that only Rapunzel? Or maybe there are different versions of the story.. Anyway, it looks very fairy-tale-ish with all those flowers. And the staircase and the flag (especially with the rose going towards the top) are a nice touch. Well done.
