  1. ...and it will be blogged for sure (unless someone else posts good reviews sooner.

  2. Hello VerSen! I see you're not a very active member on our forum, but I hope you'll read this soon.

Somebody put a link on the forum to your reviews of the new PotC theme. The reviews look very good, but unfortunately I can't read russian. So could you perhaps post your reviews (in english) on our forum too? Would be great.

I think it will get a lot of attention and i...

  3. I changed it on the frontpage. The reviews were very good so it was indeed a good idea to mention the 'authors'.If you're a member on the Russian forum, you could perhaps invite those members to our forum (if they can speak a bit English at least). I think we don't have to mention their names in the title of this topic though. Their reviews are only a very small part of our forum and I think there will also be English reviews soon.
  4. Looks excellent. I like the stern now. It's also a great feature that the lever is going through the stern and the rudder is functional. So keep it up Have you thought of a name already? Parrot perhaps?
  5. I like the fact that the border between the rock and the fort looks very natural because it's not a straight line. I also like the windows, and the curved part of the wall. But I do agree with TazManias that you could make the plain wall a bit more interesting. A bit more texture, perhaps a damaged part. A few plants on the rocks and elsewhere make it more realistic too. But perhaps that's more like a finishing touch. Outside of that this seems like an interesting and impressive project. Keep it up
  6. Although they seem to be a bit trapped there without a ladder, it's a good MOC. The combination of white and tan is nice, and so are the fort design and the 'cave' scene. Perhaps some more work on the water is a useful tip for your next MOC but outside of that you did a good job
  7. Sorry? Your MOC's are one of the few ones that are so good that I take the time to read the full story You keep your good reputation with this MOC. Actually I think this is one of the more interesting stories. Well done. And a wise choice not to show the faces of the dead wiches on the pictures (I believe there are no good dead faces, except for skulls).
  8. Bye bye Kitty. Glad it's over But it was a nice joke
  9. Of course it wasn't Although I'm still an outlaw, I'll try to give good feedback: First of all, your rigging looks extremely realistic now. Hats off to you. My only point of critic, is that I would remove some lines forward. Here's an image for explanation: As you can see, the red lines (which you have too) are correct. The blue ones however, are not. The mast already gets pulled forward by the green lines. And as you can see the red lines keep quite close to the mast. That's the only thing.I hope the masts are still stury if you change it. I used these for attaching the sails to the ropes so that you can hoist and lower them. But you could also attach them with tire like Perfectionist did (here) and perhaps make the rope detachable (like this for example) Good luck!
  10. I believe this is exactly the thing you're looking for
  11. I completely agree with you. Being named after the most delicious pastry in the world is a reason to be admired, not to be banned Anyway, I'm glad to be back. Even though it was interesting to live the life of a banned outlaw one day. I'm glad most of you liked it. Too bad for the rest. I think we'll do something a bit less 'confusing' next year.
  12. Compared to this picture: I would do it more like this: Perhaps you're rigging is correct too, but this is what I saw on most of these ships.
  13. I can't spot any "mistakes" or things I would have done different. She looks excellent so far and very close to the real ship. Do you know if the standard (blue) flags will cover the stern windows? I hope they're not too short. Anyway, keep it up! And, as an incentive: [bloggedcp][/bloggedcp]
  14. Ah well, if it's been used on real ships, I don't have any problems with it.Nice ship by the way, the Friends Goodwill. I didn't know that one.
  15. Thanks for sharing. I was on Legoworld too. My MOC(ship) can be seen very shortly at 1:54 of part 3 Also nice to take a look behind the scenes of course.
  16. Nice army. Those 'custom'weapons look very good, I especially like the sword. But I think some different heads wouldn't look bad either. Right now it looks a bit like some cloned zombie army with all those staring eyes. But outside of the faces it's a great army already
  17. Beautiful stern I believe the anchor arms are called catheads. Good that you've made them. My only 2 suggestions are to make the deck narrower towards the stern and place the 'cleats'(?not sure how they're called) in front of, and behind the masts instead of on the sides. Good luck.
  18. That's the Queen Anne's Revenge. Still, I wonder how he got it so fast..
  19. Excellent MOC. It's full of great details. Especially the trebuchet is a piece of art IMO. The fact that every building has an interior and it contains so many custom crusaders make it even better. Well done!
  20. :/ yes I'll delete it.

  21. If you're making the rigging good I think this will be good. Otherwise you could also try to make the masts going through the deck(s) to make it more stable. And perhaps it's a good idea to make the hull perfect first before you start on the rigging and masts.
  22. The pictures are very clear, you did a good job on the blood and the working lights are a great feature too. Means that it's worth blogging. [bloggedcp][/bloggedcp]
  23. Haha that's nice The room is well built and I also like the monster. I also enjoyed the video. The music was a good choice and the moving of the monster seems to work well.
  24. It was well worth it! She's just beautiful now and I can't wait to see her under full sail! I think you should join us when (or if) we're going to Legoworld next year. I've got to see her IRL Good luck on the sails. EDIT: By the way, are you going to add studding sails?
  25. I do have some pictures of my visit to the Amsterdam and they have also been posted here once. Here is the link. -Oh the pic's are all unavailable. Guess I'll have to post them again some time I also have pictures of the Batavia, but I don't know how useful they are because I didn't make them for Lego ship reference. But I'll take a look on that.
