Welcome to Eurobricks! That's quite a big army already The flags are nice and I like the officer and other custom minifigs. Can you make closer pictures of those? A video is good, but I think you'll get more comments if you deeplink pictures (or videos) here on the forum. It's quite easy and many of us use it. Here is a tutorial for uploading images, and here's one for deeplinking them. That's all, if it doesn't work, feel free to ask

Didn't get any Croissants for Christmas! My previous title said I would get them, but I didn't! I think Santa ate them all by himself.

That's a lovely building. The LDD looked good already, but the real thing always looks a lot better somehow. It's quite small, but very complex. Especially the work around the large windows and the blue part just above it look clever done. A nice addition to your city

The first image looks very good already! I don't have much to complain this time My only suggestion is to change the spanker sail yard a little bit. I think this image explains enough: So actually, the bottom yard is longer than the top one. Like I said before, Perfectionist can help you more with the headrails. That's all. Good luck!

Wikipedia says the following: Hope that answers your question.

Okay you keep my vote!

I see you already found some good use for your piano It's a lovely building, looks very cosy and also very piraty (with the barrel of cutlasses outside for example). I think it's one of your best MOC's so far and an excellent tribute to Zorro.

I think it's quite frustrating that you can't count if you're a SW-fan. You don't even know how many episodes there are.. Nice entry, although it's not particularly humiliating. I like the apple and the jumping teacher

Awesome! This building is terrific! And so are the minifigs There are so many details in this MOC that I'd like to see some closer images of it. The white-blue colourscheme looks quite divine (and so does the architecture). The protruding tower looks quite fragile but is also good. I enjoyed it

Whoever you are, congratulations! Hope you'll get some visible presents though.. -
Yet another ship! Your fleet is growing with the minute! It's a nice ship again. I like the colourscheme, the barrels and hatches on the deck, and the shape is quite good too. Possible improvements could be to move the main mast a bit more towards the stern (space between fore- and main mast is about as much as main mast-stern). The stern is quite square, perhaps you can make it a bit more round. And what kind of cannons are those? Swivel guns or normal guns (without bases)? Anyway, with a few small improvements, this is going to be a very fine addition to your fleet

Although I think the line would look better entirely brown (so also the 1x1 round plates), this ship is great I think the shape is excellent, and it seems like you're bringing the minifig-illusion scale ships to a new level with your technique. I would change the connection between rudder and ship in black or grey instead of blue, but that's just a very small detail. Good job sir! Can't wait to see the next update!

Actually, TazManiac has found this one. He is our News Scout. But it was a nice find indeed I didn't want to mention that, but you're correct. I must say there are quite a few good MOC's in that contest.

I like the colourscheme, the name and the figurehead of this ship Perhaps some headrails and tan or brown decks can improve the ship but outside of that I think it's good. It's certainly an original choice to build a bomd ketch. Good to have one on the forum

Flickr member Auric has made a very gruesome MOC depicting a scene that happened quite regularly back in the 17th century... ...a keelhaul! The ship and the blood on it has been done in a clever way and the captain looks great as well. I only wonder why the hauling sailor doesn't wear any pants More pictures of this MOC and Auric's photostream. [bloggedcp][/bloggedcp]

The hair pieces are nice. Indeed the civilian hair looks more like a hat. But as a hat it's a very nice piece The weapons are great too. I especially like the claw. The spear is also nice. Although the armour torso's look good, I'm not very fond of the colours. The female torso's are not so good IMO. A torso mold like that would look better than a removable part on a torso. Minifigs have a small neck, but with that part even the small neck is gone.. But the skirt is good again.

Looks like a nice hideout on an excellent spot, with ruins and close to the water. I recently saw a Robin Hood movie and this MOC captures the spirit of such a forestman hideout very well But I also agree with Sirens-Of-Titan that some different colours of blue for the water would be nice. And perhaps let the people do some stuff like cooking or sharpening swords. Good job though.

Flickr member 2 Much Caffeine has made a beautiful Pirate MOC. A SNOT floor, a nice roof technique and more! Here's a link to the MOC on flickr and here is one to 2 Much Caffeine his flickr account. [bloggedcp][/bloggedcp]

Well, I meant that they don't look very realistic in just one 'odd' colour like blue or green. It's like they really had a plastic helmet in the napoleonic era. But with some details in different colours it will look more realistic. But indeed it looks more like LEGO plastic too (more like your previous molds) and that's a good point

The best LEGO sailing ships (minifig illusion scale)

Congratulations! The Nuestra Senora was my favourite too. A well-deserved 1st place. The Hansa Trade Cog also did quite well. Perhaps that's a type of ship we can make more of in the future. I'm looking forward to the next contest already. But I guess I have to make a better ship by then because the ships are improving very fast here lately! -
They turned out quite well indeed. But they look a bit too plain 1 colour, a bit too plastic-like. Perhaps some detailing in other colours would make these look awesome. Keep experimenting and I look forward to another update

An excellent update again Most of this frigate is already perfect as it is now, just some minor suggestions: You could make the part where the one bowsprit section is above the other all black (as you did with the mast cap parts). I would also make the bowsprit yard black, as all the other yards are black too. The mast parts to the first mast cap of the fore- and main mast can use some more black in it, like here: This is not essential (on the Victory it isn't very visible for example) but some colour variety is always nice IMO. The headrails can use a little work too, but I think Perfectionist can be more helpful with that. The fact that you're using his technique is great, I believe you're the second person who ever tried it. I also like the stern a lot. Perhaps you can make the rudder brown in the future and then it'll be perfect The smaller ship is looking good as well. It's nice to have 2 ships so you can make a battle when you display them. Good luck!

Looks good All the colours in this MOC are good. I also like the tiles in the boat, but I would go with only 2 1x4 tiles in the back and 2 somewhere in the middle. The idea of stud water is indeed good, but it may need a bit more development. Maybe something with more 1x1 round plats in white (and perhaps blue) will look better. It's worth experimenting

Great MOC I would have given the exterior a bit more colour (grey suits a police office, but lego is usually nicer with some colours IMO), the techniques there and the interior are incredible. It has everything that a police office should have. From a photoshoot-thing to an interview room (which looks exactly like in police series). Brickbeard and Spongebob are nice details too

Perhaps you can try to put the usb thing in the torso piece and use the legs as a cap. Great idea anyway
