I can't see the picture. Has it been removed? "oversized motorcycle" sounds just like something I MOCed for the Agents Theme a little while back. I was going to post it, but of this set turns out to be similar I might not. Specially since my MOC featured a skull mounted on the front. It sounds great though, as it sounds similar to my MOC and I obviously wouldn't MOC something I didn't enjoy. Did anyone save the image? Woops - quoted Computerbug by accident, sorry chap. LEGO Collectable Minifigures Series 3 discussion

Yeah, I imagine that by the time he logs back in the folder will be pubic anyway. I can't wait to see them, I really, really want to see the Squidman. I love Space Police, and it's great that it's being "continued" in some way. I Wonde rif it'll be made like a SP3 figure, with a Black Hole gang torso and belt buckle? WIll/Rocketbilly -

Ah yes, that makes sense. I forgot that these figures were all made in China. Thanks for clearing that one up for me Will/Rocketbilly -

All good things come to those who wait....etcetera. The Brickshelf gallery will be public soon, tomorrow at the most I expect. Brickshelf, as I Understand, is moderated by actual, real people who can't be expected to just sit and look through every picture gallery the second it's updated. Besides, Stash2sixx already said that this is spamming up the board. Anyhow - I'm really looking forward to the new Squidman figure - anyone think that his head will come in a separate plastic bag like a lot of the painted Chinese pieces? I'm also hoping his blaster is either a new one (maybe a rifle version of the series one spaceman gun) or a recolour of the series one spaceman gun. Either plain black or gunmetal grey would be nice, though a trans colour or even red would go great with it's retro sci-fi look. We'll find out soon enough! Will/Rocketbilly -
Happy Birthday I Scream Clone and sam89! Hope you both had a great day. Regards Will/Rocketbilly

Yeah. I was expecting that helmet to be re-used. I like it, I think it suits the purpose well.

Sounds great! You're really doing the AFOL community a service with all this information and your Brickshelf folder, so thankyou Also, do you have picturesof these sets like you do of the series 3 minifigures? If not, can you remember any of the other details? kind regards WIll/rocketbilly

I wish somebody could do that, but I believe he said that the pictures were marked confidential, which would breach the rule we have here. We've just got to be patient Will/Rocketbilly -
Great review, lovely set...superb figures and it's Harry Potter. What's not to love? I entered my Dark Ages around the times that this set was released, but I remember really wanting the graveyard set. Actually I think they're from separate waves. Anyhow. That's not important. ALl of those unique pieces are so lovely! HP really was/is a great theme for really different, special pieces. You wont get lollipop signs or rainbow bottles in Star Wars, that's for sure! Also, I like the printing on Pettigrew's head. It's like the Alfred minifigure from the Batcave. Realistic! Will/Rocketbilly

This is a really nice MOC. I've not played any of the games that the ship is featured in, but it looks just right. One thing I would change myself though is the cockpit. It just looks little too fragile to me, but then again I reinforce everything I make...one of my MOCs could probably survive being ran over by a tank The colour scheme is great, too. I love the dark red with the black, and the grey gives a nice contrast between the two darker shades. WIll/rocketbily

Clone Wars Minifigures by The Clone Factory
Rocketbilly replied to clonefactory's topic in LEGO Star Wars
Wow! these are really outstanding, easily some of the neatest customs I've seen ( I love looking at custom figures, but I don't customise myself. Not anymore, anyway) One question, though - when you say the helmets are "cast" does that mean they're a custom part? they look like proper Lego pieces if so WIll/rocketbilly -
Sorry to hear about your foot, that's bad luck. Though that's exactly how I got into the Lego hobby. Lego is a great thing to do when you're suffering with broken bones...unless you break both of your elbows. Then that's just difficult.... Anyway, I recently bought the Snowtrooper Battlepack, and will hopefully be buying a second Clone Walker battle pack before they disappear soon, if I can find one. I need pistols and Clone Trooper gear...and the walker will go great with my Imperial Army. Oh I also managed to snag another Manta Warrior set for £2.50 before the prices went up to £3.00 Will/Rocketbilly

Thanks for the new pics! Okay, looks like the Mandalorian figures are going to have fleshie heads - (though don't all generic trooper heads in The Clone Wars have them? )I hope they aren't just clone heads, that could be confusing for the kiddies and not to mention frustrating for us AFOLs. Also I'm hoping that because of the blaster on a bipod int he foreground (I was right! ) that it doesn't mean we'll lose a blaster. As I've said many times before I think at least one proper blaster per figure is really necessary in a battle pack, though I fear now that we'll only get 4 - the twin pistols and a small blaster for each Mando that isn't using the big bipod gun. I suppose you could give one of the mandos one of the pistols, but they're obviously intended to be dual wielded. I think evidence for a unique mando is good, though as other shave pointed out - that blank torso looks promising that we'll get a second torso print. I was hoping for helmet add ons, but I've got some from my Clone battle pack lying around to use. Also, is it just me or does one of the mandalorians helmet looks to be painted/printed in a far inferior quality to the others? perhaps a sign that there will be a unique helmet, too. After all, there's a big box obscuring the picture, so it could well be that this shoddy looking helmet has got some sort of markings on it. What is the box for, anyway? it's censorship!! Hopefully we'll get similar pictures of the other sets soon. Will/Rocketbilly

Great review, I always wanted this set (or any set in the Alpha Team series) when I was a kid, and this doesn't disappoint. Just so you know, the orange and red grille pieces, I believe are placed to correspond with the uniform of the vehicles driver - orange grilles to reflect Flex's orange uniform stripes, and red grilles to reflect Cam's red uniform stripes. I think that's pretty neat. I like how the lasers are hidden behind the front of the ATV, and how the whole thing comes together so well. Sadly I don't like how messy the colours are in some places, I think it detracts from the overall look of the set. Will/Rocketbilly

I love this, this is fantastic! - well done indeed Will/Rocketbilly

Congratulations Bonaparte! An inspiring sight indeed, and one that instills a great deal of fear, too! No, not the fear that I'm suddenly going to be bombarded with a volley of rubber tipped spears thrown by a small army of lovely plastic men, no (though I suppose that is always a possibility) It's the fear that there are so many people jumping on the Spartan bandwagon that I'm not going to be able to find a single one of these figures for myself when they become more readily available! I only really want two of this figure - one for display with my others and one to scrap for parts though I must say they do look beautiful all lined up - the gold and the dark red really lend a feel of "luxury" to this figure I expect flickR and the likes will be inundated with pictures much like this, with many AFOLs competing to assemble the biggest army of Spartans. I hope that the distribution is a bit better in the US this time round, as us Europeans seemed to have them in far greater quantities. Anyway, off topic now so I'll stop. A lovely army! Klaus-Dieter I think you could be right, this looks like the most logical list of themes to me, only thing I disagree on is, sadly, the Egyptian theme. I doubt we'll get it. It just doesn't seem like a Lego thing at the moment, unless it's like the Vikings theme, of course - which would include all the things you state but also mythological beings too. Either way it would be a nice theme. Sad that it's gott o replace the fantastic Space Police though. Will/Rocketbilly

WOW! i think this is my favourite mini model of yours, Legostein Instantly recognisable, clean, detailed and perfect! Personally I never use the connection that you've used for the feet, but it definitely looks great like that, and the droid arms are surprisingly effective, and I bet using this basic plan you could make numerous AT-ST variants. There are quite a few similar, yet subtly different versions you could make. I think you could make it in Tan, too - A desert version! Glad to see more of your work, regards Will/Rocketbilly

KimT is wise! more sets in Winter sounds good to me, like many of you I'm hoping for some Original Trilogy stuff, hopefully a TIE fighter. I'd love that. I think it's about time TLG released a new TIE, but this is the wrong place for dicussing that I think, so I'll leave that now. if I don't like a set, I modify it. I pretty much modify any set I get anyway, whether I like it or not - generally to re-inforce it, add small details etc. But the Jedi SHuttle does look like it's going to take a fair amount of bricks to modify, but it'll be worth it, I think it's a very impressive diplomatic ship, and I suppose the figures are just icing on the cake. But like many wise members here, what you have to remember is that these are preliminary pics. Smallish, blurry preliminary pics at that. With dirty great watermarks slapped on them. It's a rough idea of what we'll likely get in the finished product. Will/Rocketbilly

I don't think you should be deeplinking these pictures, but that's for the Mods and suchlike to decide. I've just notice that the Battle Droid Pilot doesn't have blue printed shoulders. His torso piece is blue, and there's a little area that is printed with tan. Has anyone else noticed this? because on first inspection it looks like a tan torso with blue printing, and I was wondering which is more movie accurate? Will/Rocketbilly

I doubt it. If such vouchers existed, it would be highly likely us Lego enthusiasts would know about them. News of such vouchers is often posted in this forum and others like it on Eurobricks and all over the web. Of course it is possible these have slipped through the AFOL net and are legitimate, but 50% seems like a grand reduction, and wouldn't it be easier for the seller of the coupons to just go and buy the sets themselves and sell the actual sets on eBay rather than just the vouchers? that strikes me ss being more profitable. I'd advise you to be cautious myself. Perhaps if you could ask about the origins of the vouchers and can validate them as being legitimate then go ahead, by all means grab yourself a bargain. Just be careful. Will/Rocketbilly

I don't know if the ARF Trooper will be camo printed (I doubt it) but what I want to know is about the helmet - the preliminary picture looks like the clone has a white head with the black "eyes" printed on it, like the Clone Pilot in the recent Palpatine's Shuttle. I'd like that, that would be good though it's probably going to have all the detail printed on the helmet and the ARF trooper will just have a normal Clone Trooper face. Will/Rocketbilly

Sorry if I was unclear, I meant that the white thing also seems to appear in the Mando Battle pack, and that I can only see the big bike in the Clone pack, like you said I do hope that the helmets are printed with Orange, that way, if you're so inclined, you could scratch the printing off to get a more realistic, gritty looking figure. I wouldn't do it myself but I can certainly see it being done by customisers. I don't know how they could replicate a bomb squad kit really, I suppose just standard tools, which is a bit low-fi, I can't remember what they use in the show, it's been a long time sine I've seen an episode of The Clone Wars. As long as there's at least one blaster per figure in the battlepacks then that's okay by me. That's what annoyed me about the Imperial Hoth battlepack we have currently - three blasters to go round four figures. I know it's a minor gripe, but come on....you can't take part in a battle without a weapon! looks like everyone's going to get blasters, for what I can see. Will/Rocketbilly
