  1. Seems to still be broken - it's probably a problem I'm having with my browser. Thanks anyway.
  2. I was just about to share that link - watched all of them last night. They look good, and the guy does a fair job of reviewing them, which is good - though he does tend to say "so yeah" every few seconds. Much better than most " teh first on yootube!!!11!!" reviews, though and it's certainly convinced me to buy the chopper and I also didn't realise that the Triceratops transporter had a removable cage on the back.
  3. Something seems to be wrong with your link?
  4. Another great superho-mobile! this one is certainly a contrast to the Batmobile, and looks a lot more cartoony. My favourite detail on this one is the cannon on top - though the barrel looks a little droopy, which is a shame.
  5. Darth Vaders TIE fighter has always been one of my favourite Star Wars ships, and this really does it justice! my favourtite part is the use of the Alien Conquest guns as part of the cockpit - at least I think it's that part? the details and textures on the outer panels is also a highlight for me. Great work!!
  6. From what I read somewhere, Megabloks have the Spider Man license? I know it's a bit odd, what with LEGO having the license for Marvel in general, but I'm sure I read somewhere that Megbloks had a right to produce Spiderman sets - in fact, I saw some Spider Man sets demonstrated by a Megabloks representative at one of the toy fairs, or maybe San Diego Comic Con - these sets were upcoming, as well as Iron Man and I believe Captain America, too. Odd.
  7. Another great Batman MOC for the contest! this one is incredibly well executed, and a brilliant example of a transforming MOC. While I agree the head could perhaps do with being a little smaller, I think it also contributes to the cartoony aesthetic which goes well with the whole idea behind this MOC so I can understand why it's there and it's certainly still very cool. I think my favourite little detail here though is the way the hands of the mech look when in vehicle mode - looks like some really cool little intakes or something best of luck with the competition, every time I see a new entry the standard just keeps getting higher and higher!
  8. Looks to be the Rattlecopter with some sort of platform beneath it, with Cole and Kai riding on it - I've not seen the video, so I'm not sure about that but I can see the rotors and the general shape, so I'm almost certain it's the helicopter from the coming January wave.
  9. Nice MOC - this is very cool but I agree with others sentiments that it's unfortunate that all of the lovely little details behind the windows don't show up so well. Have you tried it without the glass in the windows? I expect you have...
  10. Wow, these images make some of the sets look even more appealing - can't wait for reviews to show up, though - I really want to see the new set packaging!
  11. Superb! perhaps the best minifig scale Batmobile I've seen - I'm a fan of the Tumbler, and I'm a fan of the Burton Batmobile - and this is a brilliant mix of the two, in my opinion. The detailing is just superb. My favourite parts are the snakes and the use of the flick fire missile holder pieces - oh, and the abundance of droid arms - they're amongst my favourite pieces to use.
  12. Well, the 2012 sets for other themes are showing up on S&H now, as I'm sure many are aware, though I don't recall seeing the Hero Factory sets. Are they being released slightly later than others sets like before? or can we expect to see them when the site has finished its update?
  13. My first Star Wars set was the set with Qui-Gonn Jinn, Darth Maul, Maul's speeder bike and a small structure...some sort of vapour tower I believe. I think it's called "Jedi Duel" or something. I really liked that set, though I remember being disappointed that "good guy" in the set was Qui-Gonn, and not Obi Wan
  14. I recently purchased the new Misfits album - some of the tracks are really great, but some of them are yet to grow on me. I've also been listening to a lot of Alien Sex Fiend and Brandon Flowers lately, with of course lashings of The Cure, as always.
  15. Good old Brickshow! I'm glad it was them who made that review, not some blurry, shaky cam footage with 90% of the "review" just being about the Minifigures. Looks interesting, I didn't realise how much this set would cost until I saw the size of the box - silly me! seems a little on the pricey side, but like they said, that's almost certainly the Dino's fault, and it's a lovely figure so really the price is still justified. Not too keen on the butt of the rifle, though...just look unwieldy though I suppose since it's likely to be air or gas powered the recoil wouldn't be too much of a problem, so the butt would really just be there to help you get a decent shot...something that would be rather hard, given the giant syringe blocking the sights. That's not really relevant is it? no. Set looks great though, will definitely pick it up. I know it's only a little detail, but the trans orange boat studs on the underside of those side panels really impressed me
  16. Nice work - didn't realise Vodafone did business in Australia too! It is a little on the small side, but I understand that it was supposed to be part of your shopping centre, and also I think it's actually quite cute. The phones on the wall are a nice touch - I hate how the alarms on those things go off so easily when you're just examining a phone - perhaps the alarm sound brick from that old Agents set would add a nice bit of realism to it eh? And your shopping centre has been shelved? this is bad! I enjoyed looking at that MOC.
  17. I recently purchased a Space Truck Getaway and Hyperspeed Pursuit from Amazon UK, with free postage with both sets being cheaper than they would have been when they were more readily available. Really happy because now I'm only two sets away from having all of the first wave of my beloved SP3 and of course, they were bargainous. They were being sold by the specialist toy shop about 15 minutes away from me who, at the beginning of the year got a few Space Police sets in stock - unusual because here in the UK Space Police was a LEGO exclusive line - only available online and from LEGO stores. When you take into account how far away from a LEGO store I am and me being unable to shop online during SP3's heyday coupled with the fact SP3 is my favourite theme means I am incredibly happy with this purchase
  18. Hmmm you're right! I must be going a bit fusty - when making my post I thought that series five was green! - honestly, I'm losing track with these minifigs, it might just be my bad luck but since they've recently made some sort of "best sellers list" here in the UK they've seemingly become increasingly more scarce. Anyhow, I think purple would be a nice colour, any shade of purple. Now you mention it, I do seem to recall mention of white. I find that a bit strange - I would have thought we'd have had red by now, since LEGO seems to like using red....white seems a bit odd too me.
  19. This is very nice, I'm envious of your ability to create industrial looking environments while having the MOC stay coherent and sturdy looking - a skill I've yet to aquire. I really like all of the little details here, and the way it looks a little dilapidated, too
  20. This is quite nice, a good idea and a solid looking model though I have to say I think it could benefit from having the middle piece that connects the two cockpits being quite a lot shorter, I think it looks a little too wide and makes the whole thing look a little one the fragile side, maybe also making the distance between the wing panels (I've forgotten what they're actually called) could also do with being reduced for the same reasons. Apart from that, this is pretty cool
  21. Well, going by Lego's colour chart this series will use colour 40 - Transparent for the packaging. Seriously though I think I've seen somewhere that they'll be light blue or purple - I think one of those colours is for series 6, the other for this one but which colour for which series I can't quite recall.
  22. Welcome aboard! Nice name, too. There were also a few Batman sets left on the shelves when I got back into the hobby - couldn't afford them back then, though - and certainly not now! Enjoy using the site, anyhow.
  23. I've recently purchased the new Clone Trooper Battle Pack, and the older Clone Walker Battle Pack from 2009, with a 30006 mini clone walker promo set and Yoda keyring. I also ordered an 8096 Palpatine's Shuttle from Amazon for less than half price with shipping, however my order got cancelled....so that doesn't count...but still. So close!
  24. Very nice, I can imagine this being made as a set, with a few exceptions - your ingenious use of the Nex helmets seems like something TLG wouldn't do for some reason. I like the colours, and I think what you say about the glow in the dark Hero cores could definitely be plausible. Will you be doing Stringer, too?
  25. I've just been looking at the most recent set of pictures, and I have to say the sets look great - I really hope that the Clone battle pack comes with a full set of dark red commander gear (pauldron, kama, floodlights, rangefinders and pair of pistols), since the ARC Clone has a red rangefinder. Does anyone else think this is possible, or that TLG will just start including the rangfinder seperately? I think it'll be the latter myself, which is a shame.
