  1. For almost $500 au, I expect at least the interior to be fully furnished and tiled floors, the interiors seem lacking compare to Sergio's design. Furthermore issues such as the ecto not being able to fit without removing some furnitures or that the doors cannot be open with the ecto inside are not good enough for the price they are asking. This was on my day 1 buy list, I think it's an easy pass for me now. Lego's price has skyrocketed recently, however they need to justify their price with adequate product. I'm buying creative plastic bricks not gold.
  2. Dymock's book shop on Collin Street Melbourne has 30 copies of the 'I love that minifigure ' book, the one that come with the zombie skateboarder for $22.95. I just bought one today. I haven't seen it at other stores so far.
  3. Wow the Satyr's head piece is so..handsome. I didn't expect this. I hope it will have a nice face printing to go with it, not something that is dopey looking. This might just be my new favourite minifigure. I will certainly be picking up quite a few. Can' t wait for more leaks.

I can't believe that by now we still don't have the designer video. Usually when an exclusive product is being revealed, it normally follows by a designer video. The Ghostbusters HQ set has been revealed for a day or two now, still no designer video. Maybe Lego has decided to get rid of this concept all together. I am still waiting in hope that the designer video will show up soon.
  5. Wow really loving the leaks. Though this series sounds a bit boring, Lego never disappoint with interesting new moulds or pieces. This series has slowly become one of the most anticipated. Really loving the winged warrior helmet and the mullet.
  6. Looking forward to 'Just2good' to give us this week's ''16 tidbit drop'. What will the next reveal be?
  7. Hopefully this is the beginning of an ongoing Disney CMF series. There are so many Disney characters and with so many possibilities. Eventually we will get them all. So I don't really mind who we get in the first series, as long as it's Disney or Pixar I'm happy. We may even get Disney sets in future to complement the minifigures if they are popular and successful. Only time will tell. At the same time, I'm looking forward to this Disney CMF list. Hopefully we will get some leaks soon.

So now it's listed on the lego shop online. But where is the official video? Shouldn't that be released by now? Anyway hopefully soon, can't wait.
  9. I'm looking forward to this series, can't wait for some leaks soon. Anyway whilst regular head may work for some characters, I am very confident that most, if not all characters will have a moulded head which will be compatible with some Lego accessories. Just take a look at the Simpson minifigures for example. The moulded heads turn out quite well and is compatible with most lego parts, torso, accessories etc. This is one way of differentiating a unique figure or character to a normal Lego person or minifgure. Take Chima for example, they have a normal lego head with a moulded animal head over the lego head. The lego head part don't mix well with other lego part to create a normal minifigure, thus deems the lego head useless. This is probably why the wave didn't do so well as ninjago where the villains head are one moulded part.
  10. Good observation Robert8. I'm very pleased that we are finally getting a satyr. This goes to show that TLG is listening to what fan really want. Hopefully this means that we are closer to getting a centaur in the future. Many in the past believed that a medusa was not possible due to the size of her tail and Lego made it a dream came true. Never underestimate the power and genius of TLG! I'm also looking forward to see the shark suit guy, should be very interesting. And can't complain about the tribal girl either - the tribal guy in season 1 is still one of my favourite minifigure. I noticed that the terracotta warrior is in CM4Sci list as well, I'm keeping my finger-crossed that this figure will be released as well. It will be the ultimate army builder fig.
  11. Toys R us has 22% off all toys for VIP members on 17 Sep Thursday, 1 day only, in store as well as online. It's their 22nd birthday in Australia! Just thought I share this info.
  12. In no particular order, my ultimate favourites are: - Royal Guard - series 5 - Roman Soldier - Series 6 - Island warrior - Series 11 - Battle Goddess - Series 12 - King - Series 13 - Toy soldier (comes with the character encyclopedia) If I have to choose just one, it would be the toy soldier. He is just too cute, love the blushes on his cheeks. At the end of the day though, I like all of them!
  13. Just stumbled across this listing on ebay from China. Could these be the 'racers' that we are hearing about? I sure hope not. http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/Lot-of-8-sets-Super-Heroes-Iron-man-Batman-Spider-Man-Hulk-Minifigures-Toy-/221856911675?hash=item33a7b3d13b
  14. Just watched Tron Legacy last night and they had a corner arcade building, which I thought would be cool if Lego made something similar. Although it's pretty clear now that the next modular building may not be the long speculated arcade building. To be honest, I don't mind what type of building it is.. as long as it looks nice on the outside as well as the inside. But still cannot wait to find out what the next modular building is.
  15. After I have read reviews, this was the Ninjago set that I have to get from the new wave. Well I bought and built it yesterday and all I can say is that it is an amazing set, totally worth the money, good value as well as you get 5 minifigures, a cute dog and a fantastic looking oriental dragon! I'm really happy with this set and highly recommend it to everyone even if you are a non-ninjago fan.
  16. Found Master Wu's dragon and Tyridium shuttle at the Melbourne CDB's Big W store. They only had these 2 sets from the new wave. Fortunately I was after Master Wu's dragon, so I got what I wanted, for $49 Au, $10 off retail. Myer CBD didn't have any new stocks at all. I would say that they should start showing up in stores over the next few days..
  17. That is a really cool guide CET23. It helps me a lot to identify which sets to buy to get which ghosts. Great work, thanks!
  18. Amazing set, awesome review! Still on the fence about whether to buy or not. There are many good sets out this year. The only thing that bug me is that the temple is not closed. If it was a complete temple that you can open (like the haunted house), I will buy it in a heartbeat. I guess Lego tends to do this so that people can buy 2 sets and complete the temple. Take the Orthanc tower for example. Anyway, might still get it because it's a beautiful displace piece nevertheless.
  19. Went to 4 different shops (Target, Big W, Myer and David Jones) at Melbourne CBD and still no signs of any of the new sets.. how disappointing.
  20. Some really cool suggestions there Robert8 which I didn't think of and I like how you put the spoiler next to the name. Great job! I especially like the idea of troll, herald and sultan.
  21. Wow this is much harder than I thought. A lot of ideas have already been made into actual minifigures. Anyway, here are my guesses. 1)Satyr (with the head piece from the gargoyle and a flute as an accessory, they made a minotaur and medusa, so can't see why this can't be made) 2)Terracotta Warrior - Suggested a few times in the past, really hope they would do this. 3)A queen (the King will be lonely without one) 4)A Prince (to complete the family) 5)Albert Einstein (A classic historic figure, they made Shakespeare, Abraham Lincoln, Marilyn, why not Albert. They can re-use the monster scientist head with a new hair piece) 6)The Phantom of the Opera (Another highly requested figure, a mask as an accessory will be way cool, plus a cape) 7)Confucius (Another classic figure from the Orient - they can re-use Sensei Wu's beard) 8)Matador (Highly unlikely, but would be awesome if Lego did make one, they have a distinct costume and hat) 9)Acoustic Guitarist (A new acoustic guitar mould will be welcome) 10)Marie Antoinette (with a huge hair piece and awesome costume) 11)A child with a lollipop or a toddler with Maggie Simpson's body, printed braces would be cool too. 12)An classic actor (like James dean, they can use the waif hair from Scooby doo..) 13)A cow costume boy or girl (with printed udder if it's a cow girl - this would be the most hilarious animal costume fig) 14)A ranger (wearing Kaki, short sleeve shirt and short, with a parrot or dog as an accessory) 15)Movie director (wearing a beret and a video camera as an accessory) 16)A teacher (with a calculator or ruler as an accessory)- The minifigures need to be educated as well. Hope some of these make it to the next series.
  22. Finally, thank you Whitefang! I've been waiting for this. Looks like a very solid series to me. There are quite a few surprises like the removable monster scientist head, printed tiger girl tail, but unfortunately no double sided head printing. Overall, quite happy and can't wait to pick them up when they become available.
  23. Fair enough, good point. I just thought it would be interesting to see how many minifigures we can correctly guess. A lot of what was suggested or guessed in the past have actually been made into actual minifigures. This shows that the Lego Group may check this forum to see what fan want. For me personally, I would like to see more historic or Greek mythology minifigures - minifigures that we can't get from a set. I don't mind city-themed characters as some of my favourites are city-themed minifigures. I think (and hope) that we may get a satyr in the next series (using the horn from the gargoyle). Even more amazing, if we get a centaur!
  24. Been checking this thread daily. More details and pictures have been revealed, but no actual review yet? I was quite certain that we would get a review by now.. tomorrow perhaps. Can't wait!
  25. If CMF series 15 is scheduled for release in 2016? Should we speculate which minifigures will be in that series? I have a few in mind, but not enough for 16 minifigures.
