You're right, it sure is. They must have just done it because I was looking at the site early this morning and it was the same site they had originally put up. Thanks for letting me know.

This actually made me spit up my drink from laughing because as I typed my last post I had visions of Power Miners dancing through my head. I was trying to imagine myself swooshing a lime green and orange ship but I just couldn't.

Pictures aside, I'm surprised people who have seen them wouldn't endeavor to describe them. Until LEGO officially releases pictures that can be legally viewed I'd be content just knowing color scheme and general descriptions of how the sets and theme looks. But that's just me. Most of all, I'm just extremely curious about the color scheme because I'm quite confident the designs will be solid.

Are there actually US regulations that mandate the display of the number off pieces in the set?

Great use of parts on the figure.

Wow! That's so great! Congratulations on nabbing that set. As to what I got for Christmas, I mostly just got gift cards to the LEGO store that I haven't spent yet.

I believe the differences Motti was noting specifically is the lack of a piece count on the other box. Which is odd, I must say. That's always a pretty important bit of information for me.

Worrying what people think resulted in my dark ages. I sold my collection of 15 years because I thought it was the proper thing to do at that age. Now as an adult, I've amassed a huge collection in the six months since I returned to the fold. That being said, I take huge pride in it. In fact, when we have company, people always ask to see it. Grown men will walk into the room and gasp or get really excited. I've never heard anyone say anything bad about it, and most people are really impressed with the models on display. I don't know any AFOLs like myself outside of the internet, but I can safely say that even people who don't collect are extremely impressed and awed by the collection. It's one of those things that I think most people would be silly to scoff at, as a hobby is something that can really enrich your life and I think most people can appreciate and understand that.

Seconded. I'd love to see a modernized version of a line like Futuron or Classic Space in which the more sophisticated modern techniques and elements are implemented as well as new spins on the minifigures.

I'm always interested in how people store and sort their LEGO sets and pieces. I've got a pretty meticulous system in place for both sets and pieces, but I'm trying to figure out the best way to store my instructions. How do you store yours? As of right now, I have all of mine in a filing cabinet, but they take up a remarkable amount of space.

You know, the only time I actually see impulse sets is when I go to Legoland or if I drive up to the Lego Stores. But even then, it's hit or miss (at least at the Lego Retail Stores). For example, the only place I've seen the two Pirate impulse sets is TRU. Except there, they charge 6.99 USD for a set that, were I to find it at the Lego Store, would retail for 3.50 USD. While generally I compulsively buy every set TLG releases in a year, I never pay more than MSRP when I can absolutely avoid it. Typically, I'll go out of my way to buy it directly from TLG be it at Legoland or at a Lego Retail Store. Honestly, I think 3.50 USD is a great price for the impulse sets, provided they have a good array of accessories to go with the figure. The Knight was a good example of what I expect of an impulse. Impulse sets like the Good Wizard seemed really odd to me, as it doesn't serve well as an army builder. This leads me to believe that army building isn't the primary intent of marketing the impulse set as even the most voracious consumer is likely to contend with the impulsiveness of gift givers knowing a casual Lego consumer. Even as I type this, I'm compelled to purchase and create the impulse sets needed to facilitate a Chef army MOC both to prove myself wrong and to do something that just needs to be done.

Wow, this set is really remarkable. Thanks for posting this review, it gives those of us who aren't likely going to get our hands on one to see it in greater detail than the box can afford.

These are great! I'm really impressed with both the speed and professionalism you employed to turn these out! Great, great, great!

Wow, this really brings back a lot of memories for me. I personally never had this set and didn't start collecting until the Futuron era, but I knew other kids who did. I always wanted their classic space minfigures. I got a great sense of relief when, as an adult, I went on Bricklink and bought a bunch of my own for the first time in my life.

Wow, this is a really great creation. I love the shape of it, it's something I've not seen before and it was definitely an adventurous direction.

Soldier, for sure. Given what I've read about the literal conditions of the pirate lifestyle I'd choose to be on the side of law any day.

I agree. I was totally lukewarm to Agents until I got them, and now they've been some of my favorite sets this year. So, I think if this does end up being like Agents, I'll be pretty pleased.

Yeah, that was a big let down. I was really looking forward to my first "big ship" of a theme after coming out of my dark ages. I wasn't impressed, at all. Luckily my second was buying my old Galactic Mediator off of Bricklink.

I would be more impressed if every post had a unique MOC with it that commemorated that post. Just kidding though. Nice job.

I wish I had something interesting to share, but my storage solutions are entirely conventional. Plastic storage boxes that are about the size of shoe boxes and then craft boxes that have dividers in it for various pieces. I also use the Stack-On tool drawers for loose pieces.

Wal-Mart has that set on clearance now for about $49.99.

I had a problem with this set too. My turkey leg was snapped in half, with the bottom half where the "bone" would be not anywhere to be found. I reported this online and got two new ones in about a week.

I'm really liking the idea of multiple alien races serving as the various criminals in this line. As much as I would have liked to see a Blacktron III figure I'm still pretty pleased with the sound of this line. I honestly can't wait.

I've actually bought all of the Mars Mission sets, save this one and the Crystal Reaper. They're still on my list, but what is the general consensus on the Drill Walker? I was second guessing it, wondering if I needed another two large ground vehicles in that theme. They look good, but I wonder if like the Armored Drilling Unit, which was a really pleasant surprise when I built it. As of now, I'm a bit wishy-washy about the two sets.
