Your patience amazes me. I practically jumped out the window to get to Legoland the day they got an early release in Orlando.

I've got to agree on the assertion that the ship is extremely stable. That was the number one thing I was surprised about when I assembled mine. In considering its size compared to its density, it seemed like it would have to be rather fragile. But I'm happy to say it is not.

I guess this is okay if you want the extra fig and a few bricks to hold onto.

As much as I enjoy the small, detailed and well thought out MOC, I much prefer the large, detailed and well thought out MOC This must be from an entirely MASSIVE collection!

Wow, too cool. I'm an avid Photoshopper, but I've yet to have a camera good enough to allow me to do it on some of my LEGO creations or minifigures.

Very cool links to various tutorials on all counts. This will be helpful for those of us who did not keep our old Pirates sets at the onset of our dark ages. I'm still ashamed of that. But thank goodness for Bricklink!

Yikes, I only caught 14. And I expected to have done rather well. I guess I would've been better off looking at the high-res images.

The non-compatibility with minifgs is what keeps me away from certain product lines. Though I think the sets are pretty neat, my heart is and always will be with things built to minifig scale.

I completely agree. I just came out of a ten year long dark ages about 6 months ago, I feel like I accidentally picked a great time to have done it.

This is a problem I've been anticipating. I need to clear out some shelf space before I open up my King's Castle, but if I have any luck with it, I'll let you know.

I cannot wait to get TONS of these.
