Actually, I've only been collecting LEGO again since May, so these are brand new (as in, I bought them in the last six months.) They come several ways, but I have a few of each of these three styles, as they best fit my needs--- The 9-drawer unit. I have a couple of these, which sell for $10. The 30-drawer unit. I have most in this size, which also sell for $10. The 39-drawer unit. It's a combination of the first two, so naturally it sells for $20. They have an extremely small level of opaqueness to them, almost unnoticeable. But it's because they're made from a really soft, durable, flexible plastic. Rather than some kinds I've seen made from that hard, brittle plastic that is prone to cracking. As you can see, it in no way inhibits your ability to see inside of the drawers. I bought all of mine at Sears and Wal-Mart in their hardware departments. I have to run out for a bit, but when I return later, I'll post some more images of how I've sorted the drawers out and some other containers I use.

Yes. It is what I use.

And naturally make sure the pens have a clicking mechanism.

Given what I spent last year, this better be true. 180 sets I bought between May and December might account for a bit of that growth.

Wow! This is amazingly detailed. It looks exactly as it should! One of the very best MOCs I've ever seen. Just fantastic!

I was asking because it was in the Space/Mecha forum but that has been resolved. I really like it, by the way.

Wow. This is a really well done creation. Looks quite authentic too. I love the doubled up rows of treads, very creative.

I really like this dozer. But is this intended not to be a Power Miners model, despite the use of pieces, stickered pieces, and the minifig?

10195 Republic Dropship & AT-OT Discussion
mania3 replied to Darth Legolas's topic in LEGO Star Wars
I voted yes. I think this is a really impressive set. I'm sure it has its flaws, like any set does. Most notably the price which I'm sure has and will be complained about in abundance. I'll be getting it, no doubt. But I'll likely wait to catch a sale which is inevitable. -
I like both equally. So, that makes one.

I'm excited as anyone for Space Police III, but honestly, I don't understand all the hate for Mars Mission. I really liked several of the sets.

Since I sold my childhood LEGO I only have ones from the new Pirate sets. 1 Brown 3 Dark Blue

I'd love to see pictures of these differences. I don't have either set but I'm planning on getting them.

Does a lack of space mean a lack of Legos?
mania3 replied to SWMAN's topic in General LEGO Discussion
I forgot to add that in the pictures above I have about 180 sets, 55,000 pieces, and about 650 minifigures. I'd say that my closet is about at 1/5th capacity right now. -
Exclusive Train 10194 Emerald Night (Exclusive 2009)
mania3 replied to der seb's topic in LEGO Train Tech
I was just about to share with everyone that they are using it for the new train icon on the US site, but everyone is already onto it. I'm surprised, honestly, I assumed the image was a fake, but I guess not! It looks great!- 559 replies

REVIEW: 7418 Scorpion Palace
mania3 replied to WesternOutlaw's topic in LEGO Action and Adventure Themes
Thanks for the great review. This series was released during my dark ages. I had no idea that LEGO ever released an elephant! It's so cool! I think I'll definitely be buying one off of Bricklink tonight. -
Agreed. It'll be one of the first I buy.

Wow, these are fantastic! It makes me actually pretty excited for the official ones to come out. You did an amazing job on these. I'd buy those right now! -
Wow! This is nothing short of incredible. You can almost feel the bustle of activity as you look at this creation. Thanks for taking the time to share this with us.

Does a lack of space mean a lack of Legos?
mania3 replied to SWMAN's topic in General LEGO Discussion
I've got a large display area for my stuff, but I just keep sets that I'm not currently displaying sorted, separated, and stored. No matter how big the space is you can fill it up with enough LEGO sets. Living in a downtown/urban area limits my space, so I've converted the closet underneath my stairwell into my LEGO haven, or as my friends refer to it, my Shangrila. I just started collecting again six months ago, and the sorting, building, dismantling, storing, and planning can take up a great deal of time. As you can see in the pictures I've got a lot of storage bins and drawers for my collection to grow into, but I've also got a LOT of sets towards the back of the closet that have yet to be built. My best bit of advice would be to make the most of your space. Naturally, I didn't show how the entire closet is laid out, but essentially the room slopes downward, following the path of the stairs, and I just built shelves to fit it accordingly. -
I bought the newer version the other day and really enjoyed it. As I was building it I wondered if they had made a version from TPM, so it was nice to read this review. Thanks to reviews like this, it's almost as if my dark ages never happened. Almost.

My sentiments exactly. They look cool, but I made a spreadsheet with all the costs of the announced sets today from the toy fair that I wish to purchase. I'm at $1,500 for August releases.

Holy PURPLE. This is great!

They will not be released in America, so it is unlikely that they would be shown at an American toy fair.

On Ebay: Custom LEGO Batmobile Tumbler

This was my question as well. It's really attractive. I'd go so far as to say I like it better than the one in the set. But my only question was the one you raised. Seems way too small.
