I love this. The purple really looks great to me in all the MOCs I see it in (which is generally very few.) I didn't realize that large motorcycle fairing piece came in purple. --- looking on BrickLink --- Okay, Batman set. Very cool piece to have! Looks great in this MOC.

Welcome to the both of you. I look forward to seeing what reviews you might be doing. -
Better late than never. Welcome to Eurobricks.

Excellent! Welcome to Eurobricks.

That would be phenomenal. That show was incredible. It was canceled, I believe, because it was just so expensive to produce. Each episode felt movie quality. They could do some great sets from that series, I think.

Kind of a weird request, but maybe not. I noticed in the pictures that the Space Police will employ the regular bley handcuffs from the original Police line. Would anyone liked to have seen at least a trans blue version of these cuffs or something along those lines to employ a more futuristic spin?
-
Yeah, jeeze. Come on.
-
Oh, so this IS good news then. I never followed up on that Bye Purple topic appropriately it seems. Great. Good to hear it'll be sticking around.
-
Aren't these generally just prototypes? I can't help but think this is promising though.
-
Yes, I absolutely have. I'm probably going to use some of these to store quantities of like colored bricks. I just think it would look too cool not to do it

Classic Space is a proper name for a very specific theme. Otherwise, calling something classic Space is just considering a theme classic in a historical context.
-
Not technically. It is classic Space, from a historical perspective. Not Classic Space, from a literal cataloged perspective. If that makes sense.
-
Yeah, they are honestly great. I've noticed that just about every MF from 2009 has a double sided torso. Even the minifigures in the big farm set have them, I noticed just yesterday as I was building it. So cool!

I've seen nothing hinting at what this building will be in any LEGO store I've visited in the past month (I've hit up about 4, two in SoCal and two in Chicago.) That being said, I can't wait. These are some of my absolute favorite sets.
-
Whoa! Absolutely fantastic.

They announced all the sets at the toy fair with an August release date except for 5979 - Maximum Security Transport, 5980 - Squidman's Pit Stop, 8399 - K9 Robot, and 8400 - Speeder, which I assume will be the ones released first. Could be wrong. But I'm just going off the fact that I did see the banner stating they'd be released in June, so I assumed it was going to be a first wave of those sets which did not make a Toy Fair appearance. Yes, they do. Sorry I didn't see this post before but as I was posting my reply you must've been posting this. For instance, everyone may recall when they had the Pirates sets appear in Orlando to coincide with the big Pirate event. Well, they popped up at LEGOLAND at the same time. So, I got these sets on November 6th, which was a long while before they were released anywhere else.

I love this whole thing. The look is unprecedented, but the color scheme classic. It makes for a great build. Really brings back memories of SP1, which gave me some of my first LEGO sets ever. I think due to that I'll always hold a fondness for the black, white, trans-red color scheme.
-
I love it. Makes me really regret we're not getting a Blacktron 3 in the Space Police 3 line. So cool though!
-
Agreed. These are pretty cool.
-
I'm counting down the days until I see these. The poster at LEGOLAND originally said they'd be popping up in June, but if the other loose release dates for 2009 sets apply, we'd be seeing them as early as April or May.
-
Whoa, wait a minute... I totally misunderstood this promotion. I was under the impression that these were only randomly inserted into the new 2009 Vader's Tie Fighter. So, this potentially comes in ANY 2009 Star Wars sets, Clone Wars included?? Where has this been documented as appearing thus far?
-
Wow. This is so well done, perfectly capturing the feel of just such a train station. Think how great the Emerald Night would look rolling up behind this station. Simply awesome.
-
This is absolutely fantastic. There are a lot of individual features in this build that I absolutely love. The brown rollers, the water fall, the mine cart tracks... I could go on and on. All in all, I really like this. Thanks for sharing this build.

Rolling cookie cutter & silicon cutlery
mania3 replied to The Cobra's topic in General LEGO Discussion
Yeah, I have to agree, these are really expensive. I saw them in person at LEGOLAND a few weeks ago, and thought they were all pretty cool. The cookie jar that is shaped like a minifigure head is what I keep my dog's treats in out on the counter. I figure that way I won't be the only one excited by the appearance of LEGO parts in my house. But even that cookie jar was $20!
