  1. Yikes. That and he's planted the Jaws of Life up his rear end.
  2. I just got a load of trans-neon-orange pieces from the PAB at Legoland today. Made up about 200 of my nearly 900 pieces I got for only $10. It reminded me of how much I loved this theme as a kid. It was great to see this MOC at the top of the Space forum. Great job!
  3. That's a good point as well. Given that fact, it makes the geographical term pointless a second time. I live in San Diego, CA. Nearly as far West as you can get in the US, yet I never see any of the things you mention. So I think you've introduced the third cultural option, which might be a bit more befitting of the initial point you were trying to make.
  4. I don't think so. Farms, at least in the American context, appear all across the nation, in every state of the union. New York, for example, has a great deal of rural farming areas. It's definitely city, as I think Western implies not just geographical connotations, but historical ones.
  5. Saw this on TBB and have one of your images as the background on my cellphone. Straight up amazing. It's incredible what a difference lighting can make in a MOC. Great, great, great.
  6. Ech, this would have been more enjoyable than yet another Public Works guy for $0.01. Oh well. I'll order again before July 15.
  7. I think we all need to embrace the fact that there might be at least one or two sets not showing up in any posts that we will all be surprised by. I mean, we're not getting a second wave of Pirates it seems, but isn't it so that the second Advent Calendar this year is a Pirates one? Or was that a rumor that was snubbed? I think there is a bit more on the Castle front that is forthcoming for this year.
  8. Invariably, I buy nearly every set in every theme. But the sequence in which I buy them I find to be greatly influenced by what minifigures are inside the set. In fact, I think it is the most enjoyable part of the building process when you get all of your figure pieces together and get to assemble and examine the figures. These enjoyment is exacerbated in Star Wars sets as you really have to hunt for the minifigure components. So I don't really buy just for the figures, but they are absolutely one of my favorite parts of collecting LEGO.
  9. Oh, GREAT. There goes my new screen name idea. Thanks a LOT.
  10. This is a pretty good MOC. I especially love the Roman Centurion. Also, JC's face is hilariously defiant with that Indy expression.
  11. Agreed. This is a brilliant preventative move. Bravo.
  12. Pretty self-explanatory here as well. Mania Three.
  13. French and British. I have to agree with everyone else who said it. The uniforms have a European flair to it that American "uniforms" specifically in the Revolutionary War lacked. A remarkable fact of the American Revolution was that this ragtag no-frills entirely inferior "army" took on and beat back the British Empire. So, it'd take something a little less ornate to work as an American uniform, in my opinion. Though I think were a substitution to be made, I could see the Red Imperials serving as perhaps the Spanish.
  14. Wow that is pretty neat. It's amazing how well the troll concept meshes with the general structure of that Agents base.
  15. If I did this, it'd be my first MOC ever as an AFOL. I think I will start to work on it tomorrow.
  16. Yep. Head and arms move, but hands do not move in the wrist socket. From the waist down it is unmovable.
  17. It's not. I explained that it was a souvenir for a $3 activity when I was commenting on the surprising Bricklink price for a similar item. No, not for MOCs. And not for paraphernalia, either, I'd wager, as I don't see it being an essential piece of equipment in any process. But it's just a neat thing to have that is LEGO related as it has from the waist up the same functionality as a regular LEGO minifigure.
  18. Recently there was some talk in the LEGO Games topic about how with the creation of Microfigs there should be Macrofigs. While at LEGOLAND California recently I found this on the ground and kept it, but it most certainly a MACROfig. What do you think? I recently saw these were selling on Bricklink for UP TO $20 but I can guarantee you that they can be bought for much less as they are a guaranteed prize for an activity that costs a mere $3.
  19. Considering the price hike on PAB on S@H I'll just wait to get it in a set. I was excited until I price checked my one minifigure with a couple of pieces and accessories at nearly $15.
  20. I don't know whether to be intrigued or not. They seem so incompatible. What's next? Dance Dance Revolution, Megabloks edition?
  21. I'm sure this means LEGO exclusives, sets not available at regular stores but available online at S@H. Sets like Medieval Market Village, etc. Those sets are what is generally referred to as "Exclusives."
  22. I really want, for whatever reason, to get one of those rabbit figures. I've mulled over buying it before on Bricklink and I suppose it's just a matter of time before I do. Thanks for the review of this odd set.
  23. Yes. I totally agree. I got King's Castle Siege and half of the brick wall stickers had peeled off and stuck to the inside of the box. Ridiculous. Their quality control has got to remedy this soon.
  24. Nice! I really like this MOC. It captures the vehicle and scene from the last Clone Wars episode pretty well. This is something I'd love to see made into an official set from the series, actually, especially now that I see how well you've recreated it. Great entry.
  25. A good effort, but April Fools nonetheless. Ugh, I might as well stay off the boards today. It's going to be a day of combating a good bit of nonsense.
