  1. DAY SEVEN "Kill him! KILL HIM!!" cries Mr. def. Li'l Boy Wonder musters up a blockbuster defence. "Guys, guys, wait! Have you considered, there's a chance that I may not be scum?" Someone replies, "no, since that's how someone would talk about someone else you were unsure about, not how you talk about yourself!" Li'l Boy Wonder stammers, "but I might be the bodyguard, that's plausible." "NOOO! That's what you describe it on the scumboard, not how you do so in thread! OMG!" They begin the pummeling. They all get kicks in, someone manages to sneak in a sock full of quarters, while others rely on the satisfying fist-on-face method. Unfortunately, someone took the opportunity to take out Li'l Pirate Dave in the meantime. "Oh dear," says Mr. def. "It seems the town 'leader' has been taken out." He approaches the fresh bodies. "As you all could tell, Li'l Boy Wonder was most definitely scum, while Pirate Dave was most definitely town." "Oh, and that reminds me, Li'l Rick, you are mayor, are you not? Where is your crown?" Li'l Rick replies, "I got it, but I just don't wanna muss up my hair." ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Day seven has begun. Voting will start in about 26 hours. Each player will be given a character to play, who will be aligned with either the Town or the Scum. To win the game, the Town must kill off all the Scum, while the Scum needs to (knowingly) outnumber the Town. Third-party (neutral) characters have their own win conditions as outlined in their roles. 2. Each day you will be able to vote to lynch a player. Voting will be done in the following format; Vote: Player. Similarly, unvoting is to be done in the format; Unvote: Player. No other format will be accepted. A majority vote is required to lynch a player. The player with the most votes will be lynched. In the case of a tie, the mayor will decide the lynch, through their vote, or by PM if necessary. Voting is mandatory. Failure to vote will incur a vote penalty the following game day. 2.5. A mayor will be elected in the first 24 hours of the game day one. Voting for the mayor will be done in the following format: Mayor: Player. Unvoting for the mayor will not be allowed. One may vote for themselves. In the case of a tie, the first person to achieve that number will win. In the case that the mayor loses their life, a new mayor will be elected in the first 24 hours of the following game day. The mayors single duty will be that of tiebreaker. 3. A game day will last a maximum of 72 hours. You may not vote in the first 24 hour. The day will end when a majority vote has been reached after 72 hours. In the case of a unanimous vote, the day may end 24 hours early. After the day has been concluded, a night stage will commence, which will last 24 hours (or 48 hours if an emergency comes up). Night actions must be sent to the host in the first 24 20 hours of the night stage. 3.5. Players may not target the same player two nights in a row, and may not target themselves. 4. The alignment of lynched players, as well as any that died during the night, will be revealed at the beginning of the next day. 5. You may not quote or pretend to quote anything sent to you by the host via PM. That includes all the details of your character and role, as well as any night action results. Role claims and reporting of night action results are acceptable, but in your own words only. Do not attempt to use the structure of your role PM to your advantage. 5.5 Do not use the wording of the host to publicly back up your claims. Statements about the game made before the game started are fair game, but those made in game should not be considered either way in strategising. 6. Do not play the game outside the thread. Similarly, do not post out of character inside the thread. Game tactics and roles may only be discussed in the game thread or via PM with other players. Private discussion is done at your own risk and should be treated as part of the game. 7. If you are dead, you may not post in thread or discuss the game with any of the players. Any information you had becomes void, and may not be passed on. 8. You may not edit your posts. 9. You must post in every day thread. 10. If you encounter a problem or have a question, please contact the host via PM. Do not spam the hosts's PM box. 11. Violation of the above rules may result in a 5 vote penalty vote penalty per every 4 living players against you, and death upon further offense.
  2. Can you explain that clearly?
  3. Day Six has ended. Please send your night actions in. Vote Tally: Li'l BoyWonder 8 (Pirate Dave, Kiel, Zepher, Rick, Endgame, Peanuts, WalterKovacs, Capt. Redblade) Li'l Walter Kovacs 1 (Nightshroud)
  4. I had read that they were not nearly as successful as they wanted, but I just looked it up and you're right, the official statement is that they took manpower away from the next movie. And for the record, Attack of the Clones was the weakest movie
  5. Just over an hour left in the day. Feel free to send night actions in now, and if you are quick enough, we can start day seven 12 hours after the day ends
  6. But the reason there won't be a rerelease is because the Phantom Menace rerelease flopped, so it's a moot point. It is very unlikely to have had much of an impact on LEGO sales either way.
  7. Is this site pro-US or anti-US? Make up your minds!
  8. Vote Tally: Li'l BoyWonder 8 (Pirate Dave, Kiel, Zepher, Rick, Endgame, Peanuts, WalterKovacs, Capt. Redblade) Li'l Walter Kovacs 1 (Nightshroud) A bit over 26 hours left.
  9. Li'l Rick is our new mayor. Voting has begun! You have 48 hours to make a decision.
  10. It depends on where you live. Most English speakers know what 'America' refers to without any confusion. Even in Japanese, the word for USA? America
  11. DAY SIX Li'l Hinckley talks to the daisies. "So, if I had to say top 3, I'd go, The Jesus Lizard, then Jesus & Mary Chain, and number one, Jesus Jones. If you've ever heard the live version of International Bright Young Thing, well, it's totally slammin" The flowers do not reply. The inevitable footsteps come. "Unanimous lynch! Unanimous lynch! Get him! Make him suffer!" The crowd manhandles Li'l Hinckley in a way he never has before. They jam his face into the flowerbed, choking him with dirt and snuffing his flame. Returning to the class room, Mr. def is in a slightly better mood. "You should be pleased, you managed to lynch scum! All eleven of you voted together, so it'll be pretty hard to read much into that vote, but, oh... wait, there are only 10 of you here. What goes on here?" Li'l Boy Wonder yells at the window, "Oh, the slide! The slide!" Li'l CallMePie, who had survived so well the day before, hadn't made it to day six. Amazing, in that time between killing Li'l Hinckley and walking into the classroom, someone had found the time to get themselves a slice of Li'l Pie. "Oh my, we have to have yet another vote for mayor. Get at it!" The Host Mr. def (def) - the teacher The Players Li'l Boy Wonder (Boy Wonder) - sleeps a lot Li'l Capt. Redblade (Capt. Redblade) - foppy hair Li'l Endgame (Endgame) - hit puberty early Li'l Kieldaman (Kieldaman) - cosplay fanatic Li'l Nightshroud (Nightshroud) - poindexter Li'l Peanuts (Peanuts) - soft head Li'l Pirate Dave (PirateDave) - piratier than Li'l Big Cam Li'l Rick (Rick) - tolerating Li'l Walter Kovacs (Walter Kovacs) - bandaged Li'l Zepher (Zepher) - not an alien The Dead Li'l Big Cam (Big Cam) - Died day one, butt blew up Li'l TrumpetKing (TrumpetKing) - Lynched day one - his enthusiasm was erratic Town Li'l DannyLongLegs (DannyLongLegs) - killed night one - swinging in Hell Scum Li'l Scouty (Scouty) - lynched on day two - piled on Townie Li'l Cornelius Murdock (Cornelius Murdock) - killed night two - Townie mayor of nothing Li'l Fugazi (Fugazi) - killed night two - Townie flew into the danger zone Li'l Palathadric (Palathadric) - lynched day three - Townie succumbed to peer pressure Li'l Cecilie (Cecilie) - killed night three - Townie had a bad case of the mayors Li'l Chromeknight (Chromeknight) - lynched day four - Townie too beautiful to live Li'l Pandora (Pandora) - killed night four - Townie lost her head, and then her hair Li'l Hinckley (Hinckley) - lynched day five - Scum pushing up daisies Li'l CallMePie (CallMePie) - killed night five - Townie mayored into oblivion Rules (deviations from the normal EB rules are struck-through) 1. 12. Now those are insulting stereotypes. If that was in the banner, you would have something to actually complain about Thanks for the history lesson. Now tell the rest of the world that cowboys aren't American. How about this: Cowboy's were made famous by America. Is that better? I hope no Spaniards are offended by this. Note to mods: put a moon in the next banner. Moons are not cliched. You hit the nail on the head there, son
  13. As much as I myself as a Canadian living in Asia find the need for rebranding stupid, the images in the banner are not there to be offensive stereotypes. They are there to recognise America's contributions to world culture. American football is known so because it is an American sport. Regardless of how many cowboy movies Italian directors made, the 'cowboy' is a creation of America. It's really important for people to tell the difference between a stereotype and a tribute to the great world icons America has produced. This is a big shift, so consider that it's a little bolder for its premiere. I expect future banners to be less focusing on Americana Was the rest of the forum taken away? You have the power! 14. Li'l Hinckley is convicted. Send your night actions in. Vote Tally: Li'l Hinckley 11 (CallMePie, Endgame, Walter, PirateDave, BoyWonder, Capt. Redblade, Nightshroud, Zepher, Kiel, Rick, Peanuts) Li'l Walter Kovacs 1 (Hinckley)
  15. There are just over seven hours in the day, but please send your night actions in now if you're inclined to. If they come in early, we can start the next day sooner than usual, since I'll be around the house tonight and tomorrow... We could start day six in less than 24 hours from now... (if you are unsure about your night actions and don't want to be rushed, we will continue with the regular schedule)
  16. Non-Europeans were excluded before? I've never felt more like a second-class citizen
  17. Are you a Turkish Muslim? What right do you have to tell people what they can and can't be upset about? You should keep up with your Facebook group if this issue upsets you so much, and have at it with TLG to get them to overturn their statement, showing that, what, they ignore the voices of minorities? Not that the group is right, but it would be very negative publicity for TLG to reneg on this agreement. It would be a big middle finger to the group. What would that say to future groups who took issue with something? It says LEGO doesn't care, and they should take their business elsewhere. But, if you are some white person living in the west, you probably have no idea what they were thinking, and should be a lot more measured in your criticism. Not trying to be political (any more than when this topic was beaten to death when it first appeared and moved to the Culture/Multimedia area), but if you look at the user picture thread here, you'll see that this site is pretty white (80%? 90%?) and probably often middle-class or higher (poor kids can't afford LEGO), and frankly, I find it embarrassing the degree to which people casually brush off, and in some places, insult these groups. It's bratty and spoiled. I'm not saying all minorities would automatically sympathize on this issue, but when a whole lot of the majority behave like this, it's embarrassing for me to be part of the majority. Good luck on your Facebook project to get TLG to tell that minority group TLG doesn't care about them, so you can get your Jabba
  18. Vote Tally: Li'l Hinckley 11 (CallMePie, Endgame, Walter, PirateDave, BoyWonder, Capt. Redblade, Nightshroud, Zepher, Kiel, Rick, Peanuts) Li'l Walter Kovacs 1 (Hinckley)
  19. Vote Tally: Li'l Hinckley 6 (CallMePie, Endgame, Walter, PirateDave, BoyWonder, Capt. Redblade) Li'l Walter Kovacs 1 (Hinckley) Less than 36 hours in the day.
  20. There is this little LEGO line coming out this spring.... The Lone Ranger. There's a reason this was rushed in before it was quite fully ready. If May was Lone Ranger month, I wouldn't be surprised
  21. You know what? That was exactly about the old Eurobricks that wasn't satisfying me: the penchant for violence and genocide. Why hasn't an AFOL site not focused more on genocide in its near decade of existence? Guys, can the AFOLs be any more clear? MORE GENOCIDE! Luckily, most successful countries in the world have their fair share of it, so be it EuroBricks, AmeriBricks, or the inevitable 2020 shift to AsiaBricks, we'll be able to get the accurate amount of genocide in to satisfy members like hjmediastudios, and their desire to see genocide represented in the AFOL market. Peace yo!
