  1. Oh, and I forgot, Katalina? This is for you:
  2. Hopefully, if I play with some of you new players again, you won't vote for me so much!
  3. If there's anything that makes my game work, and it seemed to have this time, it's not caring. My first games, I cared way too much, and my main successes came when I said "who cares" and had fun. Though Badboy still did annoy me a fair bit. Revenge voting is kinda lame.
  4. Nope. That was part of my "Now I'm just a vanilla" thing. I wanted scum to start freaking out that I could expose votes every day. Sometimes, town needs to lie
  5. I figured you were claiming bomb, but I wasn't letting you live. I was a little bullying about it (sorry, everyone) but I was going to lynch you simply for taking a crap on day two. I have a plan for a game, but no set built. And I'm going back to Canada in August, so September is my nearest hosting date. But I had fun in this game, and it was short, which made it less frustrating. So I want to do another, just to flex my hosting muscles. Thanks for the kind words, you're a gentleman. But, I have been crazy out of the gates in a handful of games, usually ending up in a feud with Hinckley, but since he wasn't around, there were no bad effects. I often make players (and sometimes host) want to kill me day one. @Tammo, were you disappointed I used my ability on day one and two? What were you hoping for with the role?
  6. Nope, it was discussed and dismissed. When I sent that PM to you asking you what you did, I didn't know you'd been investigated. I just figured you were scum (which I'd told Trumpet in private, which inspired him to investigate). You weren't going to make it this game. I don't know what town Dave is like, he's always scummy
  7. That's kind of depressing to learn. The scumdar was a little broken, I guess. Hopefully the mass PM I sent to everyone except Bob, Peanuts, and Adam helped cement towniness. I was worried at first that that PM had gotten Trumpet killed, hence the title, Hubris, but Adam did it. Nice to know all three factions wanted to kill me by night two. I must have been doing something right I'm always sure of what constitutes true town behavior, such as having a vote revealing ability and using it early, but so many people seem to disagree with me...
  8. In general, the people in front tend to be town, because they have nothing to fear. Scum tend to say nothing new, and just agree with others. Bob was just trying to be in my shadow thinking it would keep him hid. If we were both scum, it would be a terrible strategy, since we were both shown to be so directly linked. I'm surprised you still would think I was scum after I dropped the lynch on you when I realized you were town, and especially after I spent most of day two making sure everyone knew Bob was scum. He may have wanted to look like he's working with me, but I never did anything to show I was working with him. For next time. And this isn't at you, but the people who were on me day one, accusing me of leading the vote: I was actively playing! Don't penalize people for being active. Scum can't be that active because they'll trip up and get caught. I've seen it happen over and over again with games here, but never anywhere else. Just here. When players do lots of stuff, if anything, just say thank you
  9. Well, who knew Kristal was scum and the scum voted for her day one? Wacky. Anyway, Bob giving up day two made all the difference. If he'd not labeled me scum, there would have been much more doubt. And Peanuts, I bet you were super pissed when that second vote reveal came up! That was funny. I was talking to Bob day one, I didn't really trust him, and kept lying to him about my action, and I feel like he kept believing me. That was good. Well, there was some luck for town, as my original reason for sussing who I sussed was wrong, but I was right (enough) the rest of the way. Adventurer, why didn't you claim to me and try to work with me? I knew Bob was protected night two, I could have told you. Did you think I was scum? Anyway, thanks for taking out that scoundrel Peanuts. Kristel had me fooled day one with her super apathetic defense. And great job trusting me, Trumpet! You used your gut in the best way when you were pretty sure I was town. We are a good team! More and more, I like my 'explode day one' strategy. It can really get results. I honestly don't care if I survive to the end if my side wins. Surviving is gravy. Thanks for a fun game to pull me out of retirement, Tammo!
  10. What are we going to know in the conclusion that we won't know tomorrow? The sheer extent of your poor lying skills? If you were actually a townie, you wouldn't roll over with secrets, you would actually try. Anyway, good luck with your Bebe lynch.
  11. Is everyone ready to lynch that scum bag Benito?
  12. No idea, but I'd rather lynch the devil I know. If Benito was a third party, it would explain something about why he was happy to lynch Katalina day one. Possibly, Katalina and Paco were on one team, and Benito and Abbot on another. Perhaps it was Benito and Abbot's job to find the main feds. No idea, but once we see Benito's loyalty, we will have a clearer picture of the situation.
  13. Benito voted for me while saying he knew I wasn't scum. Sounds like he's the best bet for today. One thing at a time.
  14. Maybe, yes, and yes. Anyone wondering about Benito's behaviour yesterday, well, start reading here: http://www.eurobricks.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=67770&st=25#entry1239700
  15. What makes you say that? What role would the FBI have possibly used on him? If he were town, he would be the absolute last person the feds would consider killing/blocking/anything since he is the prime lynch today.
  16. You'll have to say/do more to make that vote switching thing plausible. It isn't plausible right now. That you were recruited night one was. Benito voted for me, despite knowing I wasn't scum (he had admitted as much in thread), so he is priority one for scumminess. If he turns up town, he will be held up as a text book example of how not to be helpful to your town team, but there is nothing else to do. That he is that terrible is plausible, but he's also used the "I suck" defence in the past. It's not going to work this time. Too much circumstantial evidence.
  17. Too little, too late.
  18. I want to also mention that while things were still peaceful with Dave, he initially claimed to have targeted Fritz night one. Could be true, could be false. If I were scum, I would wrap up as much truth as I could into my lies, so I'm inclined to think he did. Probably was a block, but if all other suspects run out, he will rise to the top of the list.
  19. We have no idea how the scum's role work. The kill could be passed around. On top of that, there was the utter mess of megablocks that you spewed in the day yesterday, including an admission you were scum (which you after the fact added that you were sarcastic, but it's likely you second guessed yourself). If you are indeed town, you have done a horrendous job of it, and make Bebe look like a sensible player. To remind ourselves where we stand, yesterday's vote tally: I think the two "townies" who voted with Paco are a worry. I figured Katalina was town day one, but maybe was recruited day two. And there is Abbot, who didn't manage to vote over the course of nearly 48 hours.... Benito has no excuse for not voting for Paco except that he is either scum, or the worst player around. I'd be okay with this day ending early.
  20. Well, Tiffany, we will miss you With this night kill, it's hard to say what roles the scum have. I still think Benito is the best bet for today. After that, Abbot, and possibly Katalina. We now know that Paco was lying about being a Ferrari, as scum love to misinform. He thought claiming to be a third party might save him from the lynch. It might be best to ignore much of what he said.
  21. It's usually majority lynch here. I don't quite believe you.
  22. It's a majority to lynch, so throwing your vote away is anti-town. You don't want a lynch. Noted.
  23. Sorry, I lied. It was a two time deal. I can't control the vote this time though. That's the truth. I'm completely lost as to why Katalina voted for me. If she's scum, then all my computations are thrown for a loop. Geez, I'm lost. Why would you vote for Benito? That's not helpful. Not at all.
  24. In the very sad, very sad case anyone is listening to Paco whatsoever: his PM to me yesterday: Paco, you were in a corner, you're a good sport, you earned your Photoshop pic! Cheers! (FED! You lie, you die!)
  25. If there were four, I would venture to say the game is broken. Town would not have stood a fair chance when given that there is a secret vote. Scum shouldn't be able to win in three days (three mislynches and three night kills). I think the most likely mechanics is eleven town, three scum, no SK. There could still be a delayed day kill. Who knows
