  1. I'm quite tempted to give you immunity day one, but it would only guarantee people gang up on you day two
  2. I like the poison kill as it is now. It's a little shocking at first, but it's a nice dangling sword over the day thread. I'd use it myself, but I'm not a copy-catter. It could be twisted to a death in the 48th hour, but letting any vote made stick... That would encourage voting.
  3. Yes, the rumors are true, it's coming: This game will be starting around September 17, and will likely last up to five weeks. To play, you must have played at least one EB mafia game before. Features of the game: -72 hour/24 hour day/night cycle -no targeting the same players on consecutive nights (aka. The Draggy can't repeatedly shaft Hinck rule) -mandatory voting -majority not needed for a conviction -no hints or riddles -other exciting features that may not be named Criticisms from the last show acknowledged: -no photographer role -only one single neutral SK role If you have the necessary mafia experience and will be around and interested to play, please sign up. -tell us a pinch of your experience -tell us why you belong in an asylum And lastly, the game takes place in the 1980's, so turn off your Atari and put on your Betamax copy of Breakin' two: Electric Boogaloo, get ready to fight... For your right... To paaaaarr-tay!
  4. No, the main reason was we figured he would be a guareteed kill. The list of names was Inky, Foog, and one other. Since we couldn't kill Rick first night, I was frustrated, and wanted to be sure of a successful kill. The candidates were people who could play, but not drawing attention in thread. I just thought it would be nice to kill Inky, since he did it to me in Werewolf... But it wasn't a grudge. If I had to kill all the people who'd killed me in past mafia, I'd never get anything else done I prefer to think of it as beautiful symmetry. I'd never heard of an invincible SK before though. I figured Rick was acting town and had gotten someone's protection night one. Really frustrating, and I'm glad we didn't waste another night trying to kill him. And that sort of information is useless for the scum, since what are we going to say? Tell everybody we couldn't kill him, so we should lynch him? Maybe the last thing to mention: JimB, we knew you were the tracker early on. Telling WBD the watcher was contacting you I enjoyed asking Sandy repeatedly why the watcher wasn't tracking Dragonator. Good times, good times...
  5. I had to PM you to not vote for Dragonator when a lynch was down to the wire... Reading the Writeboard before voting would be sound advice in the next game...
  6. Thanks Hinck, for another well crafted game. Two quick apologies, one to Hinck for being really bitchy game day one. I was really frustrated to see so many half-assed townie types. Big Cam was pretty obviously innocent! It was frustrating, but then, I just went with it, and lo and behold, scum won. So no need to complain And to Sandy, I was somewhat waging psychological warfare on you in places I felt kind of bad and scaled it back where I could. But I needed to sound frustrated, much like WF was. Sorry, I don't really think you smoke crack. @ Shadows, if you had had Roncanator kill me instead of Zepher, probably Dragonator would have been taken out next by town. But by condemning Zepher, it was a lot easier to challenge your 'gut'. The PM I sent to you was sincere, but I wish I waited until after the game to send it. The only stress I really had was around day four when the vote on Shadows started. Four people voted for him, and a few others stated that they were tempted, but Shadows, Draggie, and Pandora made it out that I had some axe to grind with him. It was really disappointing for me, since grudges have no place in mafia (though it was my idea to kill you night two, Inky ). If people think I stated he was suspicious simply because I'm out to get him irrationally, well, that would make me an unpleasant person to have in the game. Ironically, I was the main person who stated a reason he was suspicious, the others were relying on their gut... Maybe it was psychological warfare against me. Oh well, no grudges on my part. One concern I had were some of the posts in the confirmation/discussion page, which, while meant to be innocuous, could influence the game. Zepher wrote about my meta-gaming in a way that was meta-gaming, Eskallon wrote that he is always town while he was still alive, Shadows writing that he was laughing at town (meaning, to me, just megablocking kill Draggie), and WF's complaints about things before his allegiance was revealed which might affect townie night actions... They're little things, but they tweak the way players might interpret things... I don't know if I will have a discussion thread active in my next game. What do you folks think? Am I being anal about those points?
  7. Thanks, looking forward to the conclusion... And giving the poisoner a sucker punch
  8. Oh lord, what a lousy day! Unfortunately, my life has been tied up with Dmitri's for days now, even though I never even talk to him. And he tried to have a coup with a false investigation, but it's failed since we're all still here today. So, regardless of the results today and their effect on me, we should take out Dmitri. Some unanswered questions: -who knew Yan was an investigator? Was their a leak to the scum there? -if Wilem was a poison protector ( ), who was he protecting the night the poisoner failed?
  9. That is quite weird. Dmitri, what can you tell us about your results so far? Did they say town, or innocent, or not guilty, or what? And this result said Baritone?
  10. There really is only one choice today. I think the point brought up about the responsibility of the claim is an important one. If Dmitri is wrong in his claim, he will be directly responsible for it, while if Wilem or Irene are wrong in their claims, they can just blame Stan. So, Dmitri's claim has a lot more weight. And as I mentioned before, if Stan was wrong about me, there's a good chance he was wrong about Dmitri too. Vote: Wilem (Whitefang) And no surprise about Vera being poisoned. She was laying low, and that has been the M.O. of the poisoner so far. I wouldn't be surprised if Polina or Ruslana were poisoned next, they having been generally low key.
  11. Funny,I suggested sacrificing myself yesterday to test that theory, and neither you or Wilem acknowledged it whatsoever. But when Wilem's name is on the chopping block, now I'm a good lynch target? I look forward to a scum conviction, so I can finally clear my name
  12. you're sorry I need to attack you? Why not be sorry for making crap up? Why not be sorry that you claim to be in touch with a combination watcher/tracker, whose results you won't share? How about being sorry for trying to railroad a claimed investigator out of town rather than verify his claim with your watcher? It seems pretty obvious to me that lynching is not the way to verify one of our last remaining ability townies, and offered up myself as a vanilla to show Stan was on the wrong track (http://www.eurobricks.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=59361&view=findpost&p=1059320), but it seems nobody cares about that. Who would have the logic that it's best to test this out with the investigator? I'm not sure if they're scum, or just a pawn of scum, but I have no choice but Vote: Samuel (Sandy) I'd actually rather vote for Wilem, but I'd hate to hear about that gut shit one more time. He's rabid to get Dmitri out, on the basis of Stan's message, and the roleclaim Dmitri made while the fingers were pointed at him. Funny thing is, in a story called the Forest, Wilem made a roleclaim on day one because he was worried about being lynched. He's also contributing little to the day thread. Maybe he's been doing lots of PM action to show his innocence.
  13. Well, my defense is the same as any other vanilla townie, I'm innocent. But, so far the town hasn't been reasonable, has it? The only good lynch we had was thanks to Ruxana, and see where that got her? I find it incredibly frustrating that Stan's accusation holds any water with people. His other accusation, Petr, was 100% wrong. He didn't say why, and nobody can back up his accusation, just Wilem is willing to verify he said it. And as for Samuel... It's pretty unbelievable, really. So far, he hasn't got a single thing right, starting on day one when he accused me a few times of voting for Petr to save Barbara Later, he blamed me for trying to get Stan lynched, when this is what happened: I said to him So he says to me: Then Sam jumps out and votes for Stan in public, but blames me for starting the vote, when I voted forth Already, I'm pretty sick of this, my suspicion's that Sam is secretly smoking crack. Since she told me, for no reason, about Stan's role, she thinks I killed him, even though, she, Dimitri, and Wilem seemed to know, and whoever else. But she thinks the scummy thing to do is kill someone the night you learn their action, even though it's a stupid, incriminating move. The icing on the cake for me is when I tried to work with her to clear myself, either by being watched or investigated, I get this reaction: It was pretty suspicious the way I suggested using the tracker who delivered scum to us to track me if there was doubt Samuel was way to hellbent on lynching Ruxana though. At the same time, I think Samuel is town, unless he was recruited last night. That kind of blind, obnoxious arrogance is hard to fake, in my opinion. As for Samuel's attitude today, well, it's not a whole lot better: The information of the peeping tom is unhelpful today. Well, tell us what it is, and let us judge. Maybe it will help us. As for giving you credit... You haven't done a single thing to earn any credit. Seriously. So, Timur, I guess I can't defend myself any more than anyone else in this town, but I will say the reasons I'm under suspicion are based on Stan thinking my vote for him was scummy. Which was no scummier than Petr and Samuels vote, plus the number of others who voiced suspicion of Stan that day. Which is to say, Denis is going to get into his irritable mode if he keeps spelling it out. Denis is getting upset! And I don't know where to place my vote, but I will before the deadline is up. <That's my daily Internet cafe hour used up, so I can't give any more witty retorts until tomorrow.>
  14. As much as I hate to say it, I have to agree with this. If Dmitri is telling the truth about his role, it's far too important to test by killing him. I would rather go with some concrete information, but it seems we don't have any yet. There was no mafia kill last night, so quite likely there was a recruitment or two. Samuel doesn't seem interested in letting us know what the watcher/tracker saw, though hopefully they followed Dimitri or I to help verify our stories. I place the blame of Ruxana's lynch on that watcher/tracker's shoulders, but if they have information leading to a solid lynch today, we can treat them as a townie with poor judgment, rather than as scum manipulating us.
  15. This is most tragic. Ruxana really was a useful member of town. Hopefully the bonus ability we've gotten will help make up for the losses we've suffered I'd really like to know why Ruxana was a watcher (we can assume she didn't lie to us, since she was a townie), but the person who outer her is also claiming the same role. Something is not adding up.
  16. Geez. Where to start with this. I think there are quite a number of things you're very conveniently ignoring. I feel like you're laying the groundwork to lynch me later, even though there were holes in your logic both today and yesterday (and the reply of mine you also ignored). First, here is me addressing Stan's comment as much as I can: http://www.eurobricks.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=59227&view=findpost&p=1056038 , as you can see, I haven't ignored it at all. So, you think Stan's gut might be better than others, but you also say that he didn't trust Petr, now a confirmed townie. Got it. You think I tried to get him lynched, when I voiced suspicion at some behavior of his. Got it. The three people jumping to lynch him after I voiced something warranted no suspicion from you. Got it. But the people jumping on the Ruxana bandwagon are suspicious. Got it. I really had no intention of voting for Stan yesterday, I was just taking notes, as you are today. But Stan's replies were so over-the-top, he just looked like scum to me. And that made me look like scum to him. Like it did Petr. I'll try not to hold it against you, but I'd like you admit you're being inconsistent in your reasoning. I wanted to know this too. I thought I'd asked it, but I can't remember now. It would make a hell of a lot of difference in how confident we are in this conviction today. I was thinking it had to be a watcher, since Ruxana claimed tracker and has shown the ability with the confession of <WBD's character>. And in that case, they should know if only a single person targeted them. Samuel can tell us that before the end of the day, right?
  17. Hi (writing from my phone, so quoting the things I'm replying to is too difficult, sorry) To answer Nika's question: I had no way to verify whether Stanislav was giving something to Samuel or not. I've been assuming Samuel was town ever since his voting problem the first day. It would be highly unusual for scum to be missing a vote. So, if he told me Stanislav gave him something, I would just assume it happened. As for the stuff Samuel is saying, well, he's operating under his own 'unique' logic. The suspicion of Stanislav was the only thing we've agreed on, and we were both wrong in that. So, yeah, I told her in PM that if she needed evidence I was town, she could have me investigated or watched. Ruxana led to a scum conviction yesterday using a watching ability, so I don't get why she thought that an absurd thing to say. 'Unique' logic... If Ruxana was the only person who targeted Petr last night, he would be scum then, but it's a bizarre set of abilities. One of God's jokes, I guess. And I think Petr was a bizarre target, since he had seemed clear town to me since day two. Anyway, I want to hear from Ruxana today before we vote. As much as I don't care for Samuel's thinking right now, I do think he is town and is a safe person to carry information through. I'd much rather we vote for actual reasons if we can, and not this gut-based stuff.
  18. Well, first off, let me apologize to Stanislav. My suspicions were misplaced yesterday. My guess is that, so far, the scum have been lying low and watching town point at each other. Samuel, I don't know what you're talking about, but I havent seen the message Stan sent you. He certainly wasnt "100% sure" since I'm town. That sounds like a hunch he had about me, but I think it has a lot more to do with me voting for him yesterday than anything else. He was pretty sure Petr was scum yesterday, and said as much to the whole town. Petr wasn't scum either, was he, so his hunches arent that reliable. There's been a lot of gut-based strategy in this game so far, and the only success we've had was from hard information. I'm trying to figure out why he trusted you in the midst of this. And yeah, you told me his role. I unvoted him yesterday because of that claim and was waiting to see him confirm it yesterday by giving something to you. If I were scum, that in itself would be a reason for me not to kill him. it would make me look too suspicious to have him die the night you told me. I would wait a night or two. I assume the scum have some sort of blocker that could neutralize him for a night or two and provide a scummy alibi. I don't know, but just killing him is not how i would do it. I was home in bed last night. You can follow me or check me if you like. Or you can vote for me and we'll be down one more townie. How many people did he tell his role to? Any of them could have done it, or simply scum wanting to draw attention to those of us who either voted or accused him yesterday, which is a good scum ploy. There is one mystery to solve today. If Max kille Elene(?) and was Russian Mafia, and Donil killed Yuri, and was Russian Mafia, why did they get two hits that night? Does this mean there's just one big mafia with two hits? That's kind of unusual.
  19. Thanks so much :D

  20. Thanks so much! I had a very quiet day. As WF mentioned, I mover yesterday, so the day was mostly spent organizing and assembling furniture. But the family had some BBQ for dinner, and I assembled a discount Temple of Doom set I picked up. Plus, a little purchase I plan to review in a few weeks when my proper Internet is set up. A nice quiet day. Cheers
  21. I'm somewhat settled in my new place, though I have a distressing lack of furniture. I'm typing this from a foldable camping chair Bad news is, I won't be able to have Internet hooked up for at least two weeks (keep in mind, I was offered my new job two weeks ago and requested to move by yesterday if I wanted it). So, I'll keep playing on my iPhone, and I guess I'll go to an Internet cafe if I have something important and long enough to say and I'll try to keep the Big Cam-isms down to a minimum
  22. Hey, what's got two thumbs and just woke up in an alcoholic stupor? Denis points his thumbs to his chest This guy! While I'm conscious, I just wanted to echo what some have said about reaching a consensus on a lynch. At the very least, the people voting for Stanislavsky and <brickdoctor's character> should make a decision on either Donil or Ruxana. I'm sure we'll have a lot more concrete knowledge tomorrow
  23. Alright, I'm about to disconnect my computer and Internet take a bath in ice cold vodka for the night. After some consideration, and a little consultation as well, this construction worker is going to make a hard decision. Unvote: Stanislav (Shadows) Proxy: Samuel (Sandy) Let's get some good results today. I've said my share about Stanislav. For Donil and Ruxana, I'm undecided about them, but, for today, I can agree that we should focus on one of them.
  24. I thought I was pretty concise. Any rambling sensation is simply a matter of having to deal with Stanislav's lengthy "defense" of himself. Actually, I find it strange you'd single me out as rambling when I certainly haven't said the most today, and probably not the second most today. I'll try to keep it short Read this: http://www.eurobricks.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=59026&view=findpost&p=1053333 I thought he was worth keeping an eye on, nothing more, nothing less. Then here: http://www.eurobricks.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=59026&view=findpost&p=1053389 His defense was first to create a strawman argument, and ignore my other points. I think if he had said that he could see why it looked suspicious I would have moved on, but he went to such an effort to dismiss the points, it was a bit of a scum flail. And then of course, his next argument was that I have a problem with him, therefore my opinion was not relevant. Misrepresent, ignore, and metagame. None of those are convincing to me. Looks like a desperate scum flail. He's already gotten three votes, so it seems fair to place mine as the fourth. How's that? Being the fourth vote on someone with a number of clear reasons makes sense to me. Are you saying there is nothing suspicious in his behavior? I honestly am not trying to steer people in any direction. Sorry if you think so. I didn't bring up Stanislav for any reason but to point out some suspicious behavior. And I don't get why I'm being singled out when four people voted for him, and I was the last Oh well.
  25. Yup, day one, Petr. And I detailed that too. Here you go: http://www.eurobricks.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=58660&view=findpost&p=1046231 And I was suspicious of Samuel too. But at this point, I think they're town. And I took note of Ruxana being particularly useless. 1. http://www.eurobricks.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=58660&view=findpost&p=1047394 compared with 2. http://www.eurobricks.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=58848&view=findpost&p=1048746 But being useless isn't being scummy. Others, like Raya and Falicia, have seemed quite wise and pro-town in their comments, so I don't document them so much. So, yes, I'm paying attention to as much as I can. Sometimes, a cigar is just a cigar, and you sir are a scummy-looking cigar It's nothing personal, I can't express it enough.
