  1. Villains are known for using over-the-top, clunky vehicles. It's not too far in the future (from Galaxy Squad, that is), since Solomon looks to be in about his seventies or eighties. As the modern aesthetic of "high-tech" has evolved, so has the Agents concept. Don't overthink it too much, it's just a nice little cross-theme cameo. The official info will be out soon, anyway.
  2. I just noticed the really clever "toxic symbol" detail that looks like a skull-and crossbones. LEGO really put a lot of effort into this theme.
  3. That makes Toxikita look a lot better. The double-sided head might reflect an origin story or a split personality she's trying to control. Good to see the Retox henchguy as well. Does anyone think 'Kita's exposed midriff makes the curves printing look awful, though? And, by Bricklink colors, is her hair regular Green or Bright Light Green?
  4. The Hydra/Hydrant one was just enough on the line to be funny. The Batman ones were really great, too.
  5. If it's confidential, it probably shouldn't be here, but it may be fake. If they do make ASM2 sets, I'm just going to be annoyed that they won't make a classic Goblin and stick to cinematic universe and cartoon variations.
  6. This is why I've never understood the making of the Princesses into a separate franchise. I'm assuming the little girls it's directed at would have no problem playing "happily ever after" but for someone like me, it's boring when only the prince and princess are the characters you get. Unfortunate that the license focuses only on the princesses, since it gives the LEGO sets less to do.
  7. My TRU had the two new Ninjago sets but not Ultra Agents yet.
  8. Great review! Can we expect an Infearno one soon?
  9. I want this! I already did, but now even more! I look forward to more UA reviews from you!
  10. Grandpa was S10, but that discussion was a while ago. I think the X-Men set would have been better if it had the X-Jet and character designs from the video game.
  11. Thank you for this. The Visual Dictionary is the best official confirmation we have, and, yes, Juniors Robin is the only unconfirmed one. Can we talk about the sets now that this argument should be over?
  12. What do you think were the biggest missed opportunities in the sets they made? I think Rapunzel's tower really needed Mother Gothel, even though the theme is centered on romance, not villains. And that LEGO can't be bothered to give the females new face prints.
  13. Once they become Princesses, I don't think LEGO would pass up the perfect chance to cash in on the success of Frozen. It's wildly popular, and definitely in the public mind right now, and while they're new, take precedence over the other Princesses. I was thinking it could be two large sets: Elsa's Ice Palace with the characters in the Cuusoo project (and maybe Kristoff and Sven) and a small representation of Arendelle Castle, with Esla and Anna in their coronation outfits, and Hans. Although if LEGO does make it a reality, I doubt the Palace would be nearly as impressive. Elsa should have a new hair piece with a braid in the front, as well.
  14. I love these! Although, ironically, an old Townie would be very special to a new collector. The stilts show-off was very funny as well. LB wins for sure. You sure do like Breez, don't you?
  15. I heard that the Robins in Batman and first wave Super Heroes were Tim Drake (from the LEGO Batman visual dictionary) and that the Juniors one is Dick, and the Steam Roller one is obviously Damian. Nightwings are also Dick, of course.
  16. I hate to be the one to say this, but this belongs to the Culture and Multimedia forum more than this one. It was funny, though, and some of the sequences were really well made.
  17. Chris Pratt will get his second, Star-Lord, soon.
  18. Oh, I like her now! The blank eyes add to her look, and the henchman looks cool, too.
  19. I just hope to see the theme move farther out of "Remake Batman" territory, with the new wave and hopefully another new villain. Since the DC line was a reboot, it's been disappointingly unoriginal for many of its sets, so I'm glad about and hopeful for new material.
  20. There are some errors (Flexi, Flurr without one "r") but that's interesting to see. I thought Slumbo was the leader of his tribe, though. The poses shown here give us another perspective and for me, new views of some them. I saw some some parts I hadn't noticed before, like the use of slope bricks in Slumbo's feet due to the different angles, as well.
  21. It just seems bizarre that they would include obscure villain Ventriloquist in a comic if he had no future relevance to the sets or story, and barely even counts as a proper cameo. He technically isn't fully designed, and to tease him or give him a cameo where the target audience wouldn't know him doesn't make sense.
  22. Oh, I wasn't clear. I meant that no variation of V/S appeared in the LEGO DC Games, probably due to complications in the dummy's design, and that many characters in a theme appear with designs in their theme's video game if they're not physical yet, and the design is copied or tweaked for the sets later on.
  23. As I already pointed out, it would extremely odd but welcome to see V/S in a set soon, since the character(s) never even made it into the video games, probably due to Scarface complications in LEGO form (again, notice that he doesn't even have an official drawn design excepting the hat, making me wondering if it's a throwaway or a teaser where he'll be seen in full soon). GL is very likely, but let's hope the teasing will prove true in the near future.
  24. I'm not sure, but a lot of people are jumping to conclusions that there will be.
  25. Yep, and he has that 2x2 with V-fins as his collar. I love the little details the put in the Mixels.
