  1. Jokerland looks great with the Carousel, Mixer, and Ferris Wheel! I was worried it'd be too out-of-scale.
  2. We've had three Harleys in the SH theme, Poison Ivy in three sets. Scarecrow, Bane, and Two-Face have appeared less frequently. But I would appreciate figs like Raven, Hawkgirl, Black Canary, Power Girl, Katana, etc. If they are minidolls, it's likely they'll eventually become regular minifigs. Wait, JANG REVIEWED JOKERLAND? Okay. now I really want it. Harley's face printing is just perfect, and the clown robot's pop-up head is really funny.
  3. I decided to get Magnifo today, as it was my last chance, but I was very tempted to get Turg. A dino tribe should definitely use Olive Green, since no other Mixels have yet.
  4. I think LEGO has gotten more than enough usage out of the jester hat. Now that they have the pigtails, I assume most future versions of Harley will use those instead.
  5. We're just concerned that LEGO isn't very gender-inclusive anymore. Granted, Friends sets are actually LEGO, unlike Bellville, but they're still glaringly separate. Since the DC theme is a typical action-based theme with minifigures, a calmer minidoll spinofff will attract more controversy than a completely separate theme. And if it uses minidolls, it'll be a huge blow to my minifig collection if it means we won't get regular minifigs of Katana, Black Canary, Hawkgirl, and the like. But we should calm down and wait for more info before we go crazy.
  6. Thanks for the reviews! I hope you'll do the same for Series 6. I like these ones a lot. Now I need to get them! The ones on my list are: Turg Snoof Chilbo Gox Jinky Kamzo EDIT: After looking at the Series 6 packaging, I realized that the Munchos live in a land of giant food! Also, I really like Vaka-Waka!
  7. Well, it would have to be on an angle to fit on the plate, but it could always be attached with jumpers to angle it.
  8. Harley's "Wheels of Fire" ride is approximately 60 studs long. The base plates are both 10 studs, and the beam is 40.
  9. Clever bit with the Scarecrow, but I thought this was supposed to be the DC version of Batman, not the LEGO Movie one.
  10. WW got a really sexist treatment in the movie, apparently.
  11. New pic. What's the most interesting to me is that the "female acrobatic walls" from the LEGO Movie game are returning to the LEGO Movie world.
  12. There was a statement where they said the chances of Wonder Woman starring in a set were slim to zero; they simply had no plans to do such a thing.
  13. Well, LEGO technically stated outright that they hate her and don't want her getting her own set, so I wouldn't be surprised. LEGO is far from being a feminist pioneer.
  14. I can't see a demand for an Oracle fig in the kids' demographic. That's why she's another good candidate for a "summer-convention-punch-in-the-gut-to-collectors". No new parts necessary, and difficult to introduce elsewhere. Some other possibilites could be: Nurse Joker (TDK)- LB3 confirms that the hair wouldn't need to be new Flashpoint Joker (Use Starlet/Doc Brown hair in green)- I hope not, I really like this version of the character Thomas Wayne Batman (also Flashpoint) Reverse Flash (any version that could reuse Flash cowl) Raven (exclusive version followed by a different mainstream release) Harley Quinn (N52 w/pigtails, Arkhamverse) Guy Gardner Any of the Bizarro villains from the movie Two-Face (TDK, Black-and-white) Catwoman (Julie Newmar) Jim Gordon (comics, either old, or young and redheaded) Black Canary Ventriloquist/Scarface Characters they wouldn't dare make exclusives: Alfred- too important Batwoman- need new mold Killer Moth, Mad Hatter, Clayface- see above
  15. I think that's one idea, but it doesn't match Batgirl. I think Ariel's hair is still the best idea, but I missed my chance to get it cheap.
  16. I don't know if that's a good solution, since the shirt Barb wears in The Killing Joke is a short-sleeved button-down. I'd be better tasked with creating a good wheelchair for her as Oracle. I also need a good hairpiece for her.
  17. A nice dynamic dispay option would be for the HQ's grappling hook to be attached to the Portal Hideout.
  18. Maybe the Ninjago show people are colorblind? Or maybe Jay and Ronin just use inconsistent amounts of hair dye?
  19. Yeah, regardless of how disappointing the design is, she shouldn't look that bad. Since the marks aren't on both faces, it's also a giveaway. Definitely a misprint. This is what she should look like (grinning): Hey, I just realized that the Big Bang Theory set offers up two female heads with glasses that could be used for Barbara Gordon/Oracle! Now, if there was only a female torso with a yellow T-shirt...
  20. I think that's Dark Tan, with orange lighting.
  21. Looking at the Jokerland instructions, I wonder why there are two knobs for the eyes of the clown. Since the eyes are linked by the gears, wouldn't one knob in the middle suffice? Looking at the way it's built is nice, because there are some really interesting and clever techniques used. I also found this of the set. I didn't realize before how nice Harley's face printing was.
  22. Curses! My resolve is breaking down.
  23. I like the Scooby-Doo aesthetic. Very clever! Especially since visitors gain the cartoony look!
  24. Thanks for the insight. I'd say a big problem is that LEGO wants people to use the Super Jumpers, which are just plain frustrating. Several of the play features would work just fine manually activated, which is what kids did before. Putting one of the duckies on a loose connection or flick-fire would have been great, since that's the only ride without a conceivable rescue plan. I feel like Harley's ride's function is for her to threaten Robin, but using the Jumper to activate it seems like nonsense in such a case...And it's only one-way. Ivy's ride could have been improved by a handle for moving the ride up and down. A full ring of seating would have been nice, too. No problems I can see with the clown, except that there's literally no way provided for Batman to reach the platform. Is Starfire supposed to fly up to do it? Well, thanks for your valid opinions. But I still haven't changed my mind. To quote the Joker himself: "Don't like it? I'm crazy for it."
  25. I realized that out of the five we haven't seen, only one is likely to be female. But I expect that the Tiger Girl is one of the only non-spooky characters in the series.
