Looking at the pic again, another possible meaning: that particular figure with spinner is exclusive to that set. Look at the way it's set up: "Exclusive" on it's own, then the line and then "dragon ninja & spinner", or something like that. Indicating perhaps that it's the coupling of 'specific ninja + spinner' that is exclusive to that set.

LEGO Collectable Minifigures Series 3 discussion

My wife called a couple of MM stores in the Toronto area and got the same word: January. NOW, with that said...series two popped-up there a bit earlier than they had stated, so... -
I think that by having 'exclusive' on the BOX like that, it just means that particular figure is ONLY available in that particular set.

Well, I live in the east end, so even the Eaton Centre would have been FAR better for me. Taking ANY bus from KIPLING means I have to a) take a bus to the SRT b) take the SRT to Kennedy subway station c) take the subway from Kennedy across the ENTIRE LENGTH of the system to Kipling d) THEN take the 123. That's a whole lot of 'chucking' just to get to a store.

In their defence, they DID include a blue convertible in the Creator 'Town Home' (I think that was the name...the tan one). All it needed to fit into 'City' was a steering wheel.
-
Unfortunately, unless you're lucky enough to stumble across one in a LEGO store, you'll probably have to resort to Bricklink, or e-Bay, or something similar, because (last I looked) that set is sold out at LEGO S@H.

REVIEW: 7307 Flying Mummy Attack
Ogre replied to WesternOutlaw's topic in LEGO Action and Adventure Themes
Well, it DOES provide half of the 'play feature' of the set but, besides that, it's a source for more tan bricks and Egyptian stickers (if you care about that). Since the set isn't TOO badly priced, I'd say it all works out for the best in the end. -
Well, that's a drag. I mean, it's FANTASTIC that LEGO is finally opening a store in Ontario and specifically in Toronto but, being in Sherway Gardens means I'll probably be there twice per YEAR, versus twice per WEEK if it was more centrally-located.

I'd really like this one. I'm all for more variety with the wizards...probably because I like the idea of a "wizards' guild" type of thing, with differently coloured wizards representing different factions, or specialties (wizard, sorcerer, magician, necromancer, illusionist, alchemist, etc., etc.) -
Haven't seen any sets yet but, I got a free Ninjago sticker with my last S@H purchase.

To a retailer, that is still 'high demand'. Doesn't matter if it's a thousand people in a day buying one fig each, or one person buying a thousand figs...it's STILL 'one thousand sold in one day'. -

Loooooooooong time since I read the story but, IIRC he wasn't a 'musketeer'...he wanted to BECOME a musketeer, yes? (and finally became one at the end of the story, correct?) -

Or...wait just a little bit. Right now, everybody is FROTHING over series three figs. Understandable but, some folks still can't find series two. Yet, here in Toronto, Canada, one retailer has so many series two figs, they're not just selling them at MSRP (as they ALWAYS have), they're offering them at "buy three, get the fourth free" online and in store. A store I was at yesterday had SIXTEEN boxes in stock and their 'sister store' up the street a ways had EIGHT boxes in stock. I personally think there will be PLENTY of series three figures kicking around, with NO need to be paying double the MSRP for them. -
I still think that figure is a load of garbage. I've been in stores and seen TEN families not buy as much LEGO as ONE AFOL. I'd like to know just HOW EXACTLY they came up with that particular figure. I rather like the bank set. Sure, it could have had more to it but, it's not so hard to MOC up a larger building and use this set as the 'face'. Besides, I'm just happy that they're bringing in more City buildings that aren't police stations, or fire stations.

Absolutely! I like this theme far more than Atlantis so, yeah, I'd definitely be in favour of such a move.

So, I got my first 'messed-up' collectible minifigure. Yeah, I have a nurse with a mashed hand but, I don't really count that one. This one hurts: a Spartan who is missing the head of his spear! Spear is there but, no bladed tip!!!!! I'll count him as one of my 'free' figs but, it still ticks me off. Messes up my formation.
-
Thanks for the pics of the bank, Oky! Kind of an odd looking thing but, it's nice to see they're expanding the line. Speaking of: I noticed that on the magnet set, there's no name for 'Amset-Ra' (sp?). 'Jake Raines' is there, 'Anubis Guard' is there but, for A-R, it just says 'mummie'. Not even spelled properly.

AT-AT The new version and the motorized version are both still available.

Very cool MOC! Love your pics. The backgrounds make your hanger really POP.

"Remember, remember, the fifth of November..." -
That's exactly the sort of thing I'm hoping for. Now, I'm not saying that I'm HOLDING MY BREATH...but, I may just cross my fingers...

TRU has had SOME (Toy Story @ 30% off, Atlantis @ 25% off) but, yeah...considering some of the U.S. sales I've seen, we get shafted pretty massively. (not to mention how often TRU JACKS the prices over MSRP!)

*shaking head* I must be losing my mind. Forgot ALL about those. Which is particularly disturbing, seeing as I HAVE all of those. -
VERY impressive! Nice job.
