yes they are! stupid me! that is exactly what I was talking about. I guess what confused me at first was that my pointer didn't change like it normally does when I hover over a link!
-
you say easy, i say I may as well be looking at Chinese! I have been wanting to learn some basic HTML code though. I keep getting told it isn't that hard for the simple things I want to do. two questions as I was envisioning something like this for the Hamlet of Circardia when I eventually get around to it. Can more than one photo come up when you roll over a building? Secondly, can the roll over link to the original thread?
-
that is very cool! simple roll over the lot number and a thumbnail comes up of the build! Maybe Ill take one another Albion build shortly, hum..../wheels turning/....
-
nice scene you've created! the minifigs really bring it to life. And great minds must think alike as I have made HooKah for my build as well. Just hoping my BL order arrives today so I can put the finishing touches on it today! Great job kabel
-
nicely done. Like the multiple angles and it seems a lively scene. Also like the river but perhaps it could use some details like some ripples in the water where the dock meets the river, or some barrels or crates waiting to be shipped out (or brought in?) Great job and hope to see more builds soon

Nice one. love the kids and dwarf in the snowball fight. why didn't I think of a catapult to launch giant snowballs when i was a kid?
-
no worries, I was a bit confused when you said Circardia in the middle lands at first too. of course the build is really nice so I'm sure my men wouldn't have any problems hanging around such a beautiful building!

same here. got 75 lego trees including (7 cypress trees, and two palms along with dozens of pine and fruit trees) for $20 bucks, my best find so far. there is a guy selling his entire collection (he has an entire set up: storage bins, three 6 foot tables and what he claims is lego worth more than $6000) near here for $3,000 bucks but doesn't seem to want to part it out. @ kerntechniker, nice embassy starting to really like wood and stone look. Ill post more it your thread in a bit. -
me thinks me guldsleader has been drinking too much mead and wine! I though I have been doing a pretty good job of building up my lands of Circardia! Here is a list of my Circardia builds from the first page of the Avalonia Guild thread... Tower Of Circardia Duram The Beekeeper Of Circardia by MikeyB Here piggy piggy! I can relate to the budget tightening on Bricklink! I look at all the orders I have placed since November the total of how much I spent! It's kind of scary! I figure though if I have keep my Bricklink budget down to about $50 a month, keep looking for deals on craigslist, ebay and yardsales and recycle my builds I should have a nice collection of parts. Then perhaps I can tackle a large project like Mayday Artist or DC's village. now off to put the finishing details on my embassy! -

your a lucky man! Still nothing closer than 3 plus hours for me. And I just found out that my trip to Legoland and Orlando in April might not happen. sigh...at least I have bricklink -
I am putting the finishing touches on my Embassy that I am placing in Kaliphlin and wish I would have seen this earlier! A lots of nice details espcially the mosaic designs, the windows, the arches (I particularly like the arch leading into the building). my only criticism would be the walls look a bit thin at one brick in my opinion but I know how many bricks that can eat up! Great Job Fonzy!

I won't speak for DC, but Circardia is a mixture of people from all over. Many have come their to start new so it isn't uncommon to find different styles of buildings, some that speak to their past and former homelands. That said, with the abundance of lumber around Circardia, the traditional timber and stone buildings are the most common.

wow so many great builds over the last couple days! As usual you've done a great job. Your roof looks great! The verandas look good and every time I see your MOCs I think I need to make another a couple Bricklink orders! Your builds are so inspiring! Love the manor and that it is with in Circardia! Lord Arlindus will insure that Lord Lanval's manor is well looked after and ready for for him when he returns.

another Great build, as I mentioned before, love the tiberium blue technique on the tower, the details and of course, all the photos showing pleanty of details.. I also like the backstory. I was going to present my embassy build as a letter as well after de Gothia presented his embassy the same way. It's a great way to add character and story at the same time.

I recognized Tiberium Blue technique. His T'Met Monestary is one of my favorite MOC of all time. Looking forward to seeing more photos of this build. Again Nice one Guildsman! -

I don't have plans to go to Brickworld but I was think trying to go to the one in Raleigh in May (I think). It would be great to have an Avalonia group build display at one of the shows. (do they allow that type of thing?) I am waiting on a shipment from BL to finish up my embassy and hope to get it tomorrow! I finally got a plan together in my head and got it about 80% built, just need to work out a couple spots and it will be done. There have been some great builds so far across the guilds and rougeang set the bar pretty high! Hopefully mine will not look to far out of place along with the rest! -

And I was begining to think you were under a spell or curse from the Drow or other evil creatures but it is good to see your builds again. love the bridge and your trees are great. I also like the carriage a lot. Can't wait to see some more photos. -
thanks for the second shot!

Nicely Done! I love the optical illusion! four bricks difference?

looks great. love the big shutters for the window as a defensive measure. The roof and mix of grey bricks are well done. looks like that dog needs some training. It is taking its owner for a walk it looks like!!
