I am not sure where the post is but at one point, someone came up with a loose scale for the map and I figured the eastern border (running north to south) of Circardia was about 25 miles long. That said, there would be tons of streams, smaller rivers and other features which are not on the map.

Looks good. I know there are a few other lands that initially were claimed but not sure how active those members still are.

Very nice! As I expected, I have modified my Challenge IV build once again. This time I hope it adds more to the overall scene. I really should just wait to start building the challenges a week or so before they are due. I keep changing everything and ordering more parts off bricklink!

When can we expect a review? My favorites are the conquistidor, thespian, diver, man-bat, and Santa, might have to get multiples of the Barvarian guy just for the pretzel!

Love this! I especially like the plane in the first photo! The level of detail in this is great. I will be referring to this as the standard I hope to hold my military builds to one day!

this is great work. I especially like the upper windows in the tower. very nice. lots of great details through out the build the curved stairs, the roof of the main building, the bands of color I especially like too. Again great job,

Great set. I am excited to see it that door and all the pieces! I'm guessing their is an interior as the door is cracked open and you can see some bits inside. Hopefully there will be some more shots soon! Mikey

Can't wait to see what they come up with the Hobbit line. I know we will likely only see one set (and I agree it will likely be Bag End) I wonder what those Bilbo Baggins that are going to be available during the scavenger hunt tomorrow are going to go for on Ebay?

I was wondering how a castle or building would look built with the new "brick" brick and you don't disappoint. so many nice things here and of course the story is great too. I am envious of your parts selection and the time you seem to have to pump out such great creations time and time again! already looking forward to your next build!

I am pretty sure our Cartographer said he was going to have an updated version by the end of this month. but like LD said, the best way would be to look at the Avaloinia Map thread and see what you can find. As to the brown tiles, the 1x4 ones have been pretty common over the last year or two here in the states. Mikey

I would start by asking what you like to build. For me it is castle, so I would have plenty of grey, brown and some foliage. I would probably look to build some scenes, each with a few details.

I understand the roof issue. I build a really cool building only to find out that the dimensions of the building screwed up my roof! ended up scrapping the whole thing....

Get your Brick on! some good start here. You might want to try and "step out" the white portion of the building so it overhangs the lower portion by a brick. and I always think the doors look better on the inside of the building. Can't wait to see more photos

Looks good, I still haven't tried my hand at micro building. And I agree with Capt BB. not sure the bamboo works here.

great stuff everyone! and it is great to see some members building again! My Challenge IV is progressing. problem for me is when I seem to get a good start on a build, and have time. I tend to keep changing it up. I am working on probably my 3rd or 4th change to my elemental.

All the towers have been claimed by other members, that one specifically by the Brickdoctor LINK Some of the other Mystic Isle are unclaimed though, perhaps one of them.

Looks more like "noise" than blur. If I were to guess, I would say your ISO is set pretty high, drop it to 200 or so. Then add more light. I would say find a good spot outside in the shade, set up your back ground and try that. Might save you some money! I really like the Bird of Prey, look forward to seeing it more!
